Lady Lilith
http://kotaku.com/this-portable-n64-is-a-work-of-art-and-there-are-more-1560767275 We've seen portable retro consoles before, but this N64 mod is beautiful. Not only that, but it looks like there will be more of them on the way, so you just might be able to get one.P The portable console uses a 3.5" screen, internal memory and Rumble Pak, an Expansion Pak, a GameCube analog stick and 4 hour battery life. If you're interested in the process of making it, there's a progress thread here. Just want to see the final product in action? Check out the video below. Bungle posted this on the Bacman forum for retro console mods, and mentioned that he wants to make more so he can sell them. So start saving up now, because who knows how many he'll be able to make. If you're interested in getting one, you can follow the forum, or subscribe to the YouTube channel. I asked Bungle for some more information on his plans to sell them, and I'll update when he lets me know. Update: If you're interested in getting your hands on one, Bungle says to make an account on bacman.co.uk and make him an offer via private message. Oh goodie, another account I'll never use again. If this branches out to Amazon though, I'll consider it. Edited April 9, 2014 by Lilith
Parker
Looks pretty awesome but does it use batteries or does it have a rechargeable battery? Parker

Lady Lilith
Looks pretty awesome but does it use batteries or does it have a rechargeable battery? Parker It looks to me like it's just a mod of the Retro Duo handheld, so probably rechargeable battery unless that used batteries. Even if it did, this might use rechargeables just because everyone else does (except Microsoft, but they're idiots) Here's the Retro Duo handheld, which lets you see the similarities. Beyondthegrave07
That's freaking sweet. I still have all my old Nintendo 64 games and think this would be great to have. However, my N64 is 15 years old and is still working like a boss. I don't need this handheld... at least not yet.

KitsuneChaos
While reasonably awesome, I can easily see this becoming something that I'd use once and simply carry around to show about -- until I empty my bag and toss it to the side.

shigomei
I dunno, I think the main appeal is its novelty, but that's about it. How practical would it be to carry N64 games around?
