What combination of stats produces your profile percentage?

Maybe I'm a derp, but I can't figure out how my profile is arriving at exactly 66.74%. Anyone know the formula for this? Imo it should just be:

 

earned trophies / (earned trophies + unearned trophies) = 13,293 / (13,293 + 6,780) = 13,293 / 20,073 = 66.22% OR

earned trophies / (earned trophies + true unearned trophies) = 13,293 / (13,293 + 6,992) = 13,293 / 20,285 = 65.53% if you count my few F tier 0% games.

Any game with 0% trophies earned doesn't count towards your percentage, but will add towards your unearned. Or at least, that's how I remember it working.

I think its calculated by the points associated with each unearned trophy.  For example I notice a bronze trophy will increase my percentage by .01% but a silver usually increases it by .02% and a gold is around 0.05%.  So I think its the amount of points each unearned trophy represents vs the total points of the games in your profile.  0% games don't count and I don't think platinums count either

True, so according to that my percentage should be:

instead of 66.74% right?

I think it goes by your trophy point worth,

• Bronze: 15
• Silver: 30
• Gold: 90
• Platinum: 300

 if you add it all up  It gives out a similar percentage as psnp percentage

This is an interesting theory. Any mods or staff members wanna chime in if this is true? Idk how to tag them.

I'm not sure if points are correct either. Looking at my profile I'm missing 420 points from Street Fighter 6 and 195 Points from Tales of Arise. My points earned right now is 353580.

 

If you take 353580/(353580+420+195) it equals 99.83% not the 99.89% it's showing on my profile. Unless I'm doing my math totally wrong lol.

Thank you for calculating this out. I was gonna try on my profile but yours is much easier to see since you have so few unearned trophies lol So its not exactly trophies and not exactly points...what the heck is it??

Well i did it the other way and try to find out how many trophies you actually have to earned to get to 66.74%...... (20,073/100)*66.74 = 13396.72. Well dude where are those 103 trophies you are missing? Lol... i think no one here can do math right, including myself.

It's calculating trophy points, and if I remember right it doesn't count the point values for platinum trophies

This checks out. It gives me the correct number for my profile. Without plats my points are 353580 - 74100 = 279480 and I'm missing 120 points from SF6 and 195 Points from Tales of Arise.

 

279480/(279480+120+195) = 99.89%

They should be the same after you click the "include DLC" filter button in the trophy advisor

Trophy advisor counts the 0% trophy lists I believe.

My advisor with DLC shown.

 

My only 0% list rn.

But in OP's screenshot, the DLCs are already displayed.
