Updated. Sorry it took so long. Some people may've noticed I've not been active here lately. Oh, who am I kidding? No one noticed.

Thanks again. Remember, PM me if you add more. That way I'll get email notification.

Surprised nobody mentioned Joe Dever's Lone Wolf. You use the touch pad to scroll the pages. Pretty simple yeah, but I thought it was a nice touch! :D

In GODZILLA you use the touchpad to pause the game and see objectives (you can't use the options button it does nothing).

Also in Trackmania Turbo it is used to boost in-game music or to turn it off entirely when racing.

In the PS2 games where the touch pad is used as if they are the classic Select and Start buttons. :P

Seriously though I would say InFamous Second Son when you could spray graffiti using the touch pad.

Republique - Press to expand menu that allows you to access your inventory and map. Also when you pick up an item, press to view it.

basically the touch pad on the ps4 controller is just a huge Select button that can be used in a multiple ways and not just to press it.

Update to Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

It's not just "Open/Close map" that's listed in the OP (you have to hold the touchpad button for that)

Map:

Move finger around pad in map - scroll map

Pinch in: zoom out

Pinch out: zoom in

(also works the same way with viewing relics)

In gameplay:

Swipe up: Light torch

Swipe down: Extinguish torch

In camp menus, swipe left/right to select next item.

So this game uses the touchpad a bit more than just "Open/Close map".
