The popular games list on the front page is based off trophies earned in the last few days, not actual activity because there is no way we can accurately track that. How could you possibly have any idea if it's still popular if you are not involved in its online mode? Or are you talking sales numbers? Really? I always thought it was based on the number of users that have the game added to their profile in the last week (ie. playing/sync it for the first time). Either way, the end of an era!!
