Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to download three free games in December, as part of Microsoft's Games with Gold program.

Xbox One owners will receive the latest entry in the Worms series, Worms Battlegrounds. The downloadable strategy game features twenty-five single player story missions, multiplayer deathmatch, and over two hundred customization items.Worms Battlegrounds will be free to download for Gold subscribers throughout theentire month of December.

The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief will be available to Xbox 360 owners from December 1-15. IGN praised the crime adventure game's complex story, eccentric characters, tense puzzles, and exceptional art.

On December 16, The Raven will be replaced by the over-the-top snowboarding game SSX, which will be available through December 31. In IGN's review, we said SSX"redefines snowboarding games, raises the bar for the genre, then backflips over it."

I think this just shows how bad Sony has spoiled us with PlayStation Plus. When people don't get a highly rated Triple A game they bitch and moan, even if the Indie game is fantastic, whereas Xbox owners have to deal with this. Don't get me wrong, Games with Gold has given out a few great games this year, but overall Sony's service shits all over this one. In my opinion of course.

Uh, actually not. Last month my sister got Darksiders 2 and some other good AAA game I can't remember of, but even so, we got a lot of lesser budget games which I'm totally loving so far. For me, no matter what Sony gives us or stop giving, I will be siding with the company no matter what. I'm a playstation fan to the end and if they want to give me games for free in a 50$ year pack that is worth much more than that, I will gladly accept whatever it shall be with a good smile.

ehh SSX is pretty good but too bad you guys can only play them for like 15 days

I'm pretty sure that you can play them as long as you are a Gold member. My sis still plays the Absolution/Dishonored she got from the program a couple months ago. I might need to confirm with her or Parker could tell us if he has the chance.

Ooh the Raven sounds great

The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief will be available to Xbox 360 owners from December 1-15. IGN praised the crime adventure game's complex story, eccentric characters, tense puzzles, and exceptional art.

Except replace Complex Story with boring and predictable, exceptional art with lifeless faces staring off into space as their jaws flap open and close and the only thing tense about the Puzzles is the fact that key items can disapear because the game glitched out again.

Or to sum it up read my review https://psnprofiles.com/forums/topic/6284-dr-mayus-prescription-for-perfection/page-9

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS...BUT WHO CARES BECAUSE THIS GAME SUCKS

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

So I was actually pretty excited about this game. The trailer looked pretty cool, it seemed to have a dark sense of humour about it and all in all for 5 bucks I thought "what the hell"

This is a Point and Click adventure (or more like a drag and click since you can't use the Move and have to use the controller) and it SUCKS. There are barely any puzzles to be solved and as long as you madly click on everything that has a magnify glass you can't go wrong. The thing is though the controls are so bad you often miss clues because you are not situated in the EXACT position and angle to see it. I honestly thought my game was glitched (more on that) because there was supposed to be some bottles but I couldn't interact with them. I could see them, I knew they were there but until I turned ever so slightly they didn't show up. The thing is you can't turn slightly because just touching the analog stick sends your character into a complete spasm and you have to calm him down to focus. It is also one of those games where if you walk too far the camera switches and all of a sudden up is down and down is up so the first time you don't know and accidentally walk back towards the camera which of course makes the controls reverse again.

The game is also full of glitches. There is the known one where if you skip any dialog or press X instead of O then it locks out the trophy (I didn't know I was at that point in the story so I had to replay the first part of the game a second time to try again). There were also glitches where vital people wouldn't show up, clues wouldn't be around (until i reloaded) the option to back out of a zoomed in shot wasn't there etc. This caused me to reload my game often meaning I had to redo a bunch of shit twice.

The graphics, sweet mother of funk, the graphics. Now I know graphics don't make or break a game but when I have conversations with people and they are looking in the complete opposite direction of you and their mouths are just opening and closing randomly and they have this vacant stare that never blinks you have to rethink how important graphics really are.

Finally the Story...remember SPOILERS

The butler did it...no shit that is actually the badguy. I called that the first time I saw him and, what a twist I was right. I was actually surprised because I really didn't think anyone could do the Butler is the bad guy cliche in this day and age. Ready for twist #2? The overly-suspicious former Nazi doctor turns out to be...A BAD GUY :o. Man who thought that the guy acting suspiciously from the beginning would be suspicious. Alright twist #3...the main character who spends the whole game narrating to himself about how the Raven couldn't be involved turns out to be The Raven...wait...what the fuck that is just stupid. It is so stupid it needs its own paragraph.

So the guy spends the whole game telling himself the Raven isn't a killer and that this couldn't be the Raven and then it turns out he is the Raven...well no shit Sherlock. Glad you figured out that YOU didn't do it. I mean this was just a complete bullshit Twist (that I actually called) because there was no hints that this guy could be The Raven. I only called it because I thought it would be too obvious that the Butler was the bad guy and said "it is probably you" Also he reminded me too much of Shelby from Heavy Rain and I thought  "what are the chances that there are 2 games out there that you play as a heavy-set middle aged detective...I bet Jacob is evil as well"

OK, stupidity #2. You have a huge conversation with your daughter where you both pretend to be someone else...but the thing is NO ONE IS AROUND SO WHY ARE YOU BOTH PRETENDING. Then the game actually has two of the crooks openly talking about the burglary with the mystery novelist standing right next to them. So when you are alone you have to pretend but when you are next to someone who writes crime novels for a living you can just openly talk about the crimes you are ready to commit.

Anyways the games story just gets dumber and dumber and I have put too much thought into it already. I am going to have a new rule, if the developers can't be bothered to put effort into their story then I won't put effort into these Recent Platinum posts anymore.

I heard you had a lovely time at the fan boy convention!!!! :D

Not sure if you are aware, but you're on a forum. People here express their opinions freely, no one has to wait for you to ask for their opinion.

That is true but people can also express their opinion opposing the other person's opinion.

No one didn't ask for it either, so there's that...

Also, don't be a dick. No one on here wants to deal with that so if you want to be a member here, I suggest you stop posting in that manner. Disagree with me all you want, that is fine, but don't post it like that.

Fanboy?

You do realize I own an Xbone, 360 and original Xbox, right? Fanboy's wouldn't be caught dead owning the competitions system, let alone saying something positive about it.

Sunset Overdrive is overrated too!

Lool, at least you can still take a joke one in a while. I would advise saying that Sunseet Overdrive is overrated or the Xbox Mafia will be after you.  :)

I don't want to send him round to your house lol.  xD

A lot of fanboys here.

If the opposite program has worse games, it doesn't mean that i should be happy with the games offered on Plus.

Even though i liked December line-up, Deadly Premonition is a weird, but cool game.

Of course they should but some have already chosen, I can say that Parker was just stating his opinion and I accept it.

Of course, that's how we get the discussions. But that guy saying "You're opinion is crap, and no one asked you for it." Isn't really a good way to do that. It just sounds immature.

True, I think you're just wasting your time. His is right but I agree, the wording could have been better.

This is why we can't have nice things.  If you can't bother to be civil don't bother posting.

This makes no sense, If someone posts an opinion right or wrong, people are going to pick up on it. I was joking, I don't know about the other guy but sorry if it came off as immature.

They should what?

I don't think he was stating his opinion, he was just activating the huge amount of Sony fanboys around here.

True it does look bad. You'll just have to see what he says when he replies. Are you coming from the Xbox, Steam, Nintendo community? Have not seen you here.
