G1gabitGaming
Im very much for this. Some of these tournaments award winning teams with millions of dollars. http://ca.ign.com/articles/2015/07/23/drug-tests-mandated-by-pro-gaming-league?%20hub%20page%20(front%20page)&utm_content=
thegirlruka
I didn't know that there were even video game leagues... I guess it's good that cheaters are getting punished for cheating. As long as caffeine isn't banned, I wouldn't expect it to effect many gamers (caffeine is classified as a drug.)
damon8r351
First thought before even reading the story, "WTF could a gamer possibly be doping to win a gaming tournament, Ritalin and Adderall?" If I made this shit up and wrote it in a fiction story, people would reject it for not being believable. I just cannot put into words how cosmically humorous I find it that professional video gaming has its own doping scandal. And it's freakin Adderall! Dr_Mayus
I was trying to find the clip from Entourage where Turtle was entering a Fight Night Tournament and the rest of the boys convinced him that they do drug tests so he would give up smoking dope. Oh well, it was still a funny episode
Z1MZUM
Winners do use drugs and the thought of turning the hobby of gaming into a career makes me nauseous. Here's looking at you MLG, anyone remember ultimate gamer? Ultimate unemployment. Really though, none of them seemed to be that great at any of the games they played. Brawler
Adderall was the first one that popped in my head. It's no surprise to hear that pros had been using it to give them an edge. Surprised they're actually going to test for it, though.

There's big prize money in games like Lol I think a lot of people would prefer make a living out of their hobby over a desk job

Arkthur
So many lives ruined because of drugs abuse, I'm glad they are finally doing something about it. Seriously, you think ESL winners are superstars or something, but once you go visit them on their parent's basement, you realize the kind of live they have, once you hop on the Kool-aid train, is very hard to get off.
