No console version of The Sims 4

Just found this article and didn't make the wifey happy with it.

I also believed that there will be a PS4 release.

There was a Sims on PS2 and Sims 3 on PS3 but seems to be not that big request for EA to port this I guess?

I was hoping that it would come to the PS4 after finishing the sims 3 but I guess not. I hope they change their minds at a later date as I sure a good amount of people would play it.

Ugh, dangit. I've wanted to play The Sims 4, but I knew better than to throw down $70 on a game I'd play obsessively for a week then not much after. I prefer the console versions since the trophies give me more reasons to keep playing. Bummer.

Maybe with the PS2 to PS4 ports they'll do Bustin' Out and Urbz. I miss the challenge/story based ones

Well taking into account that 95% of PC games are indies (some times unfinished) made with a 0.99 cent budget they deserved to have some medium budget -not AAA- exclusive game for a change.

I'm sure we'll be seeing a console port at some point.

What a bummer, Sims games are the only games that ever make me think about trying to get a PC for gaming.

That won't stick. EA loves our money and they know console players don't always jump to PC.

I won't jump to PC for a single game or two, but I would have loved to see that game on the 4..

In all honesty I'd prefer The Sims 1 Complete Collection Remastered and/or The Sims 2 (PC versions I mean). I loved playing those games as a child, would be amazing to revisit them with trophies!
