Sora9427
I activated it for mroe Security but what it really doesn? I didn't get it honestly.
Valyrious
I activated it for mroe Security but what it really doesn? I didn't get it honestly. Even if someone hacks you specifically and acquires your password, if you have two step on, the only way they're getting through your account is if they have your phone, or your phone number and managed to convince your phone company that they are you, and they ship out a sim card. And that doesn't sound very simple, does it? If you don't think two step delivers more security, remove it. But that's not being smart.

Honestly there is always the possibility that someone steal your phone with your number and Sim and at that point would be a ttrouble get in the PSN and having to get the number back or change the new one if possible to get in your account. I would ahve preferred something more Mail releated maybe.
Guest
2 Step works well but always still have unique passwords and emails...
AffectatiousDonk
Interesting thread, it finally pushed me to setup two step verification which I should have done a long time ago.

If someone goes to that extreme, there was no stopping them anyway and there would be nothing short of killing them that was going to stop them. For all other scenarios, it'll never get that far.
AJ_Radio
This DDOS attack was apparently planned out and carefully managed, because it was sometime between 3 AM and 6 AM PST (6 AM to 9 AM Eastern Standard Time) that it happened. Spotify, Reddit, PSN, Xbox Live, and countless other services were all DDOSED this morning for America and late morning/early afternoon for Europeans. It's probably a group of 13 - 25 year old punks who decided to attack Dyn DNS. Lizard Squad committed a number of DDOS attacks back in late 2014 and when some of them were caught, turned out to be young males between 16 and 25 years old. The fact that these kids can shut down a worldwide accessed website and it's network is stunning. Edited October 21, 2016 by Spastic

Probably future terrorists or these so called refugees worth saving.
