Popular Post IRATEEE
IntroductionOutside of the gaming world I am a software developer that soon have a bachelor degree in computer science. I am also a father of three lovely children and I got a lovely wife that put up with all my programming and trophy hunting. I will post some pictures of my setup, but for now; let's say that I have a computer with two big enough monitors and one ps4 pro and a ps3 on my living room. I am previously a PC gamer that played Counter-Strike (1.5 all the way to GO) competitively and started a journey into the competitive scene of Rainbow Six Siege also. I got tired of everything being that competitive when all I wanted was to relax with a game. So I made a compromise; I would stop playing PC games and use my sony consoles and I wont get into any competitive scene with my games, but I will hunt for trophies! This way I can get the excitement of winning something but not having to get onto a stage to do it. My favorite genre in games are First Person Shooter. But as long as the story is great I will play the game. I consider my gaming habits as quite variable. Update (5th Feb. 2017)It's a new year and I've been away from trophy hunting for a month, almost. So I decided to make a more simplistic look to my checklist. I have removed the big headers for each platinum and decided to go with a more standard platinum picture to save bandwidth for those surfing with a mobile phone. Hope you enjoy it. My Trophy Cards My Platinum Trophies So Far #01 - #09 Spoiler #01: Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege / 20th Nov. 2016 Master of SiegeGet all trophies My very first plat. I have to say that I got lucky on the Meat Wall trophy (I got it on my first try). It is far from a hard trophy to get - but it is luck based. Love the game even with all the server issues and crashes they got and I can recommend to play and maybe plat this game. The Camper trophy is quite a grind tho #02: WATCH DOGS / 27th Nov. 2016 100% ClearThis is the platinum trophy and is unlocked automatically when all the trophies have been unlocked. I had to finish this game before I even started thinking about the WATCH DOGS 2 game. And of course on some parts the game could've been made better; storywise.. it's too short! And set all those side missions a bit apart from each other. They are VERY similar to each other. The hardest trophy for me was Social Lubricant and the Disk Space Full was the most boring one to do. I mean .. all that waiting for the next song to appear! The game it self was ok. But I expected more since the hype was so great. #03: Battlefield 4 / 5th Dec. 2016 Platinum TrophyCollect all other Battlefield 4™ Trophies I have to say that I loved this game as a single player campaign and as a multiplayer competitive game. The story is for me intriguing with both twists and turns which made me want to play more and more. It is far from a hard game to play so you should start on hard difficulty to get anything out of the campaign. On my way to the platinum trophy; the Bomb squad was for sure the hardest one to get! And just to put it out there; the DLCs are grind-heavy! #04: My Name is Mayo / 8th Dec. 2016 My Name is Mayo!Unlock all the trophies! Really? A friendly figure from this site told me I had to download this game and do the platinum. I opened it, I clicked 10000 times, got the trophy and I feel so bad ... to even have this platinum is like.. meh! How do they let this kind of game even get trophies? #05: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare / 12th Dec. 2016 The End of WarEarn all available trophies for Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare. I have never played a Call of Duty game before and let's be honest; the reason why I picked up this one was that Kevin Spacey was the actor and voice actor of Jonathan Irons, the founder of Atlas. I thought that this game would be more of a challenge to plat but it really wasn't. I enjoyed the story and I can totally see the screwed up philosophy of Mr. Irons working, because who can fight a war when there is only one military left? The mechanics of the game was excellent and for me it played really well on a controller. Which I'm still not that used to since I come from the comfort of a mouse and keyboard The hardest trophy was Flip Flop and the funniest for me was Exo Survivor (love the Zombies) #06: Thief / 19th Dec. 2016 Man of StealThe True Master Thief I have to be honest here. I didn't like the game and I don't really know why. The game is good and the story is decent - but there was so many irritating moments that made me angry and almost wanted to give up chasing the platinum (no.. it isn't all that hard - just time consuming). Some of the things that made me really annoyed was: When you load a game, let's say after you die, the positions for you opponents reset. So if you have tried to time the movements of your foes that will reset and no longer be correct. When you run you suddenly jump if you get too close to a object and this can be into your death if you are really unlucky. Let's say there are pieces of glass on the floor and you walk slow without the enemies noticing you are there and you click before you are close enough to a loot; Garrett will run towards it and grab it, making fuck loads of noise!!! This can actually ruin a run for you! *ARGH* And after I got that off my chest; the game is good for those that like this kind of game. People have told me that I just have to test out Dishonored and see if that's better for me and I will. I got the game, so why not? But I hope it's a better fit for me than Thief was. Still, it's a rare platinum so I'm proud of hunting it down tho! #07: Rocket League / 27th Jan. 2017 VirtuosoUnlock All Trophies This has to be one of the most funny games I've platinumed yet. We we're a group of friends playing the game and grinding the hell out of it. We also did a tournament where we got smacked hard, because let's face it. We weren't great at it! One thing is certain tho; we men are quite easy. We love cars and we love football (soccer) so why wouldn't we love a nice mix of them both? I can warmly recommend this game! #08: Battlefield 1 / 3rd Feb. 2017 World War One HeroObtain all trophies I really enjoyed Battlefield 4 and this game surpassed that by miles! They did exactly what they needed; they went back to WWI and let us play through the war stories of the survivors. They mixed up the campaign and made it one of the better single player games of 2016 and the multiplayer was really enjoyable as well. I really liked that they didn't put that much multiplayer grinding into the platinum and focused on the game it self. I guess they knew how good the game they made were so why focus on anything else? If you're ever going to buy a game from this franchise; this is the game I recommend the warmest! I hope all future Battlefield games will be as good as this one. #09: Destiny / 5th Mar. 2017 Guardian Lord Obtain all trophies in Destiny. As a social game where I play with my friends on the psn party or even on Discord this could be called an ok game.. but I would never sit down solo and play Destiny for the quests or even solo queue for Crucibles; for me the game is not that great! I love the raid system, puzzles and the raid mechanics and I love to play a few of those Crucible modes with friends but again.. there are some that just are plain boring for me. I dislike the whole quest system and I hope they will make it more exciting for Destiny 2. I will be playing Destiny 2 but I wont have as high expectations this time around All in all it is a great Platinum to have with a few trophy glitches *argh* #10: Overwatch: Origins Edition / 5th Mar. 2017 Overwatch Platinum Trophy Collect all other Overwatch trophies. My first big trophy milestone; Platinum #10! I was thinking long and hard about what game I wanted for my 10th and I never thought I would ever platinum this game when I saw the trophy list! I just wanted to play it for fun But I guess I got lucky with a lot of trophies and that I found a few people that I really liked playing with that shared the same interest in getting trophies as I do. I just love this game and this will be one that wont be deleted after I've finished it! The characters are amazing, the multiplayer is amazing and the graphics.. well the graphics.. I just love the style Blizzard made for this game ! So .. what to plat for my 20th? *hmm...* #11 - #19 Spoiler #11: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered / 9th Mar. 2017 Just another day at the officeEarn all available trophies for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® Remastered. I started this game because I was sick and tired of grinding to get platinums so I wanted to just chill and play something other than those I'm grinding out at the moment. Call of Duty seems like a good game to do that with, right? And since I've heard so much great things about it I just wanted to try it out. I have never played any other game from this franchise other than Advanced Warfare and... I have to say... what a game this is! They really need to put away those idiotic exo suites and bring the franchise back to this. Give it a good story and some nice missions to build up the story like this one and some nice visual - btw. how great was this remastered edition? Wow! They really have outdone themselves - and the franchise would be back on top again! I can't say enough great things about this game, really! I totally recommend everyone to play this game! Btw. one thing I really, really liked was; the veteran difficulty was actually hard. It's wasn't a walk in the park like Advanced Warfare was. This made me feel so much better getting the Platinum trophy and what a great start on my run to Platinum #20! #12: inFamous Second Son / 14th Mar. 2017 Enjoy Your Powers Collect all trophies I've really enjoyed hunting for this platinum trophy. Often you get less motivated to play through a game the second time but that didn't happen here. I love the characters Delsin Rowe and Abigail Walker and of course the interactions between the two Rowe brothers. You know a game has a good story when you feel sorry about the characters you deceive when you play through the story a second time on evil karma. It was like I didn't want to go through all the evil karma options - like killing a certain person on a dock. Not cool, man! I much rather would've spared that person all over again! So maybe a hint for the next guy taking this platinum. Play on evil karma first and then have the satisfaction to play through it and learn to love the characters on good karma right before the platinum pops! I guess you will have a much better feeling towards the platinum then It's a game I can recommend for everyone and I will for sure pick up and play the First Light standalone DLC. #13: Paladins / 17th Mar. 2017 Champion of Champions Unlock all trophies in Paladins. I'm a huge fan of FPS games; this we all know by now and I love Overwatch. So even if DarkSoleride gave me a key to try this game out I had a long and hard timeout to think if I even wanted to play a "clone of Overwatch". What if it would be so dreadful that I wouldn't even care about finishing it? Well.. at first I was like "meh".. the game was boring and it felt like a bad clone of Overwatch. But it grew on me. We we're two friends playing the game together and the more we played, the more we had fun with it! The fact that we got the platinum without boosting one single trophy is a great achievement by it self; at least for me. And just a fun fact; DarkSoleride haven't even got around to start the game - and we got the Platinum A fun casual-shooter; but I will keep on playing Overwatch at least till the game is out of the beta stages. There were too many noticeable bugs and glitches to enjoy just now. But the concept with the card system is a new and refreshing take on the genre so I'm excited to see where they will take the game on a competitive level. #14: NieR: Automata / 23rd Mar. 2017 Final WordsThank you for playing. This is one of the strangest games I've played but yet one of the best games I've played both story wise and game content wise. There is so much to do and they build the story in a way that makes me want to play even more and more! I never got tired of it .. the more I played, the more hooked I got. There is quite many endings in the game and they are a joy to unlock! Really! The story it self is built up in a way that makes sense. Not to spoil the game for anyone but; you get to see the story from all characters perspective. So if the story might seem a bit strange at first it will make totally sense when you are done with the game. And correct me if I'm wrong but I think the writer made a story based on everything from small taboo like things like; talking about how childrens are made and the need to become a beauty to serious real life issues like religion and hate between races/persons. If there are one thing I might put a finger on that I didn't enjoy at all was the map! But seriously ... even the game characters complain It is one of those games I would almost insist you buy and play. Wow! Love it and I'm so sad it's done :\ Just to put it out there; it was my first real experience in a RPG game. What a great start. This really sat the bar high! Games I've 100% that doesn't have Platinums. #01: Overcooked / 4th Feb. 2017 My never ending backlog. Started but not 100%: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (50-99%) / PS4 Rocket League (50-99%) / PS4 PS3: Tales of Graces™ f Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 Enemy Front PS4: Tales Of Zestiria Life is Strange FireWatch Battlefield™ Hardline Murdered: Soul Suspect™ Tales From The Borderlands The Wolf Among Us The Walking Dead - A Telltale Games Series The Walking Dead: Season Two Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series Dishonored Dishonored 2 Assassin’s Creed® II Assassin’s Creed® Brotherhood Assassin’s Creed® Revelations Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare Titanfall® 2 Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™ Wolfenstein: The New Order Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Sleeping Dogs™ Definitive Edition Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Rise of the Tomb Raider Sniper Elite 3 Homefront: The Revolution The Last of Us™ Remastered Call of Duty®: Ghosts Need for Speed™ Grand Theft Auto V Lords of the Fallen Far Cry Primal Worms™ Battlegrounds inFamous™ First Light Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Dragon Age: Inquisition The Order: 1886™ Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag Call of Duty: Black Ops III Beyond: Two Souls Remastered Heavy Rain Remastered Until Dawn The Vanishing of Ethan Carter PS+: Day of the Tentacle Remastered This War of Mine: The Little Ones The Deadly Tower of Monsters Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture™ God of War™ III Remastered I always aim for 100% on each and every game I play. But there are exceptions like Call of Duty games has all those zombie DLCs and what not that I do not like at all. I can't be bothered to play through those just to get that 100%. I will try and I will eventually get a completion % close enough to the 100% mark - but in the end it's the platinums that are the most important for me. IRATEEE
haha, thank you EpicNogg4 It WILL become a good list after some time, but I have to start somewhere, right? yeah, I really liked Siege. So different from other competitive FPS games. More like a mix of MOBA and FPS (because of the operators).
