And we want every person who plays our multiplayer game to engage with it how they best see fit. It’s time to go big and grow our community even more. We’re thrilled to announce that today (tomorrow in Europe) is the day that UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception Multiplayer goes Free-to-Play! To date over 3.5 million people have played in over 37 million matches of UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception Multiplayer. All Free-to-Play players will become a part of this same player pool of over a half a million passionate players actively playing our game every month. However I predict the following things happening. 1 - New player downloads multiplayer aiming to join the community 2 - Player gets completely destroyed by high/top rank players/teams 3 - Player leaves in disgust and never returns 4 - repeat with other players 5 - community doesn't expand beyond the hardcore Lets hope I'm wrong here, but every time I play Uncharted mp, I get put up against a team of 5 top rankers and I'm lucky if I get 5 kills. Mr_MovieMan29 Posted February 26, 2013 Share Posted February 26, 2013 I have a question, I played Uncharted 3 multiplayer for a long time, it was actually my first online experience....but I left because I didn't want to pay for new maps, will I get the DLC map packs if I already own the game? Parker Posted February 26, 2013 Share Posted February 26, 2013 I actually really enjoyed Uncharted 3 multiplayer but never got to play as much as I would have liked because of other games. The co-op can be a lot of fun though. Might be worth downloading it for that part... EDIT, oh, nevermind, you have to pay to unlock the co-op....
