Suminya
Quote Crunchyroll announced today during Virtual Crunchyroll Expo that an anime adaptation of the Shenmue game series is currently in production. The third Crunchyroll and Adult Swim collaboration, based on the classic SEGA Dreamcast game series, will be a 13 episode series with animation production from Telecom Animation Film (Tower of God, Lupin the Third: Part 5), directed by Chikara Sakurai ( Magimoji Rurumo, One-Punch Man Season 2). Shenmue creator and game designer Yu Suzuki will act as Executive Producer for the project. Further details will be released at a later date. The original Shenmue game for the Sega Dreamcast released in 1999, with the sequel Shenmue II coming out two years later in 2001. Shenmue III was released 18 years later in November 2019, after raising $6 million in a Kickstarter campaign that launched in 2015. Sikutai
Nothing I have waited for. Make Shenmue 4 instead and let the Story ends.

Redgrave
I'll give it a watch even if I'm not really hype for it. 9 hours ago, Good_Sir_Matt_II said: Can't wait for The Forklift Training Arc We'll have to sit through the first few episodes of him trying to find sailors while occasionally trying to get new gashapons first.
Honor_Hand
This is...Interesting... Not sure this is what Shenmue fans were expecting, but okay. That art style above does look nice, though, I'll give them that.

Dreakon13
The only thing I care about, is Corey Marshall in the dub for it? Can't go 20 years and change Ryo's voice all of a sudden. I'd hate that. Otherwise, it seems like a good way for Yu Suzuki to tell his story without burning through too many more millions making games. As much money as I dumped into the Kickstarter for Shenmue III, I haven't gotten to it yet. I don't need a Shenmue IV yet though I'd like to see it happen.
