Let's go. Another first of the month update. After finishing the story-line with my brother-in-law about 6 months ago just for fun, I finally got the platinum trophy for South Park: Stick of Truth. What a great game it was. Had to do a 2nd playthrough as it had a bunch of missable items but I didn't mind. It was so much fun. I started the sequel but you can already tell the first game, they didn't hold back. From the dialogue, to the scenes, South Park: Fractured But Whole is a lot more friendly and less obscene than its previous installment. I'm still enjoying it though.

Luckily I did manage to finish The Artful Escape before June was over, and hopefully July will be more productive. I’m almost done with my online grind in Red Dead Redemption, and I’m working through Shadow Warrior 3 this week. Fingers crossed for a few more points in July

Update #15

 

Another update means another game done. Completed South Park: The Fractured but Whole. While not as great as its prequel, it was still a very solid game. Enjoyed it just as well and I highly recommend the game. Now, I will be adding a few more games as I thought I had but guess I didn't. I will try to stick to completing around 40 games for the event. I don't think I'll be able to complete the full 50-games limit, especially with some of them being very long and others having MP that will make the grind massive.

This month's completed game is a small one - The Walking Dead: Michonne

 

Not a fan of the story in this one as there wasnt much to go on with only 3 episodes. Plus the characters weren't acting very believably, but ehh. Just glad it is done.

 

Wasted some time on a game that is not on my list and I really should have added it. As it is pretty fun. Guacamelee! really took me by surprise, and I am currently in the final map at the first encounter on hard mode getting my butt trounced repeatedly lol.

Another update for the month with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered finished. Wasn't the hardest of cods but was a slog to go through the campaign so much and Veteran was fairly random and required luck at times. The obstacle course is definitely the make or break for platinum though taking me the longest time.

So, I've been missing for a while...oops. I had kinda gotten on a non-gaming kick anyway; just didn't feel like playing anything. And then I got Covid, which knocked me out for a while. And then I just still haven't felt like playing anything much. I'm trying to get back at it now. I know I didn't accomplish anything worthwhile in June, so hopefully I can get something done here before July is up, so I don't earn more negative points ?

 

Additions in bold at the bottom of my list. I'd like to add Cat Quest II and Diablo 3 (the PS4 version), as I have a friend prodding me to play both of those, so they seem most likely for me to make progress with soon. And then Wytchwood, which I tried for a bit when the new PS+ stuff came out. Also @Otter, I'm planning to play Stray now that it's out. I have it downloaded already and I'm excited for that one. But since it's a new game, I'm not sure it should count for a backlog list. I'll go ahead and put it on there, but I can remove it later if it doesn't work for this. I haven't even looked at the trophies for it yet, so maybe I'll want to remove it later anyway lol.

Update #16

 

Think this might be my final update for the month. Not how I wanted to end. Started Star Wars: Battlefront but I just couldn't get into it. I was raging too much. Game modes that are tied to trophies are dead but what else can I expect from an EA game?! Perhaps I'll get it done in the future but who knows. With August coming up, I may end up removing it. We'll see. Instead, I decided to finish up getting all trophies Shadow of the Colossus. That game I LOVED. Loved the simplicity of just you vs 16 bosses. Now, because I'm a lousy trophy hunter, I always follow up games with a theme so I'll be doing The Last Guardian, which it's a game from the same developers. Tons of missable trophies but I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I was hoping to finish up 40 games but don't think that will be possible. I may have to bring down my list down to 35 or so, which it's still far more than what I ever gotten in one year.
