Off the top of my head, you could add Final Fantasy I - XII to the list, along with Final Fantasy Type-0. There are definitely way more games, including probably more FF games.

EDIT: And how could I forget - Persona 3 Portable.

Thanks for sending this over. I have eight platinum trophies from that list, but it's so frustrating that just over half of these games have platinums (30/54).

Thanks for sending these over! I have Sonic Origins & some of the Mega Man games on my to-do list, and had no idea the original Pacman + Ms. Pacman (along with Galaga & Dig Dug) have platinum trophies as well, so definitely going to knock those out soon.

Thanks for sending these over! I think I'm going to do a Destroy All Humans! run soon (the two originals, both remakes & the Clone Carnage multiplayer spin-off which I didn't know existed).

Good call on all the older Final Fantasy games! I really want to go through the pixel remasters (I-VI) once it goes on sale, and perhaps with VIII, IX & X as well (although I may just wait until they eventually do remakes of these like they've done with VII).

Most of these are available on Modern PS systems in some form, but not all of them have platinum trophies. And off the top of my head, all the PS1 Resident Evil games do not have any kind of trophies at all. Resident Evil 4 has trophies but it doesn't have a platinum.

Pac-Man World Repac could be added to your list as well.

Yes, it's definitely frustrating that many of the older games from the PS1 & PS2 era either have no trophies at all or no platinum added. That's why I included titles that have been remade/remastered, such as the Resident Evil series (which most are fantastic and are some of my favorite games of all-time).

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (2001)

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (2004)

These are all included in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PS3 and are originally PS2 games.

They will also have more trophy lists coming with the new Metal Gear remasters announced recently, which will include the original Metal Gear Solid.

Well, under the label of "remakes, relaunches and everything nice"

You can add:

Syphon Filter Dark Mirror

Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow

Ico

Shadow of the Colossus (Twice)

Patapon

Patapon 2

Locoroco

Locoroco 2

Locoroco Midnight Carnival

Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town (Harvest Moon Back to Nature/Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town)

God of War Ghost of Sparta

God of War Chains of Olympus

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep

Kingdom Hearts Chains of Memories

Kingdom Hearts ReCoded

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

DuckTales Remastered

Metal Slug XX

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (a lot of genesis games)

Yakuza Kiwami

Yakuza Kiwami 2

Atari 50: The Anniversary Collection (a lot, but a lot of old Atari games)

But I have a question now. After checking, you have listed Klonoa as the remake, but not as the 2 games. But then you have DB Budokai 1 and DB Budokai 3 separated even they are in the same Collection and both share the Platinum. Contrary to God of War 1 and 2 that are in the same disc but they have a different platinum.

So, what's the order on the list?

Because there are games I have listed that doesn't have a platinum

Thanks for sending these over! I'll add and update these to the list today. I totally forgot about DMC (& Doom), which I will list separately since they have individual platinum trophies.

!

I'm so hyped for the MGS Vol I release in October. I'll probably just go ahead and add all three to the list now.

Thanks for sending these over, but it looks like a lot of these are PSP/DS games (eventually I'll make a separate list for handheld releases). For this list, I'm focusing on anything that came out before the PS3 launched in November 2006, across any Nintendo, Sega, Sony & Microsoft consoles (as well as Arcade & PC), that has a platinum trophy either from the original work or added as a remake/remaster.

As for your question, it's still a work in progress but I'll continue to update and consolodate every series the same way. I think it would be easiest to just list each game once, regardless if the original game has the platinum or the remake/remaster does instead (or both). However, once I get the list as close to completion as possible, I can go back and add an asterick to indicate which ones are remakes/remaster/have both. But for now I'm going for the more simplified route.

For example, I only listed FFVII once even though the original and remake have platinums. And for those where the original work doesn't have a platinum trophy, if the remake/remaster does I have it included (ex. Resident Evil 4 Remake).

Thanks for reminding me of this trilogy! I absolutely adored Sands of Time back in the day and would love the chance to replay these + earn the three platinums (hopefully before the remake comes out Sony will add them to PlayStation Plus, whenever that will be).

A few typos. Jak *and Daxter (Ratchet & Clank is the series that uses the "&")..., and Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon.

There's also the original Yakuza (2005) and Yakuza 2 (2006), which were ported to the PS3 before the remakes came out.

A few more I can remember

Red Dead Revolver

Tomb Raider: Legend (originally on PSP/PS2)

Tomb Raider: Anniversary (originally on PSP/PS2)

Tomb Raider: Underworld (This one was also on the PS2, but I think they were released at the same time)

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
