Popular Post RustyBacon13
5 more on the board for this update. I should be able to get 1 or 2 lines down at least, hopefully. Hey, why isn't there a fingers crossed emoji?! *fingers crossed* Kill it with Fire, Last of Us 2, Dishonored, Metro 2033 Redux and Far Cry: Blood Dragon. All great games, lots of fun to be had, relatively easy trophies. Except for Dishonored's Dunwall City Trials. Yeah, hard pass on completing that. Also, my Dishonored box is for the DLC's, I've got one more Ghost run to do before I get the main game Plat. Need some help everyone. 1. Would Spongebob: Battle of Bikini Bottom be considered for Hype! ? Were Spongebob fans really hyped for it to come out? I s there large and rabid Spongebob fanbase that was frothing over this release? Let me know if I can consider this guys, Id really like to finish a line 😆 No worries If I can't though. Any other suggestions for Hype! anyone can think of? 2. Retro release originally without any trophies. I assume any of the Capcom Arcade Collections should fit this yeah? Any other suggestions for this otherwise? Thanks! Edited June 14 by RustyBacon13

I interpret the 'HYPE!' square as a new release game that you are hyped for (which for me is either gonna be SMT V or Metaphor, because Atlus games always get me hyped lol). If you were hyped for a SpongeBob game then I don't see why you can't use it. Regarding 'Retro Re-release', I'd say those Capcom Arcade Collections would be valid 😊
Popular Post Xhortastic
Two new squares done in one update! I4: Astro's Playroom (PS5) for 'Free to Play' G2: SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (PS4) for 'In a Series New to You' First up is Astro's Playroom. As soon as I saw the Free to Play square on my Bingo card, I knew it was finally time to play this game. I had heard about it before, and was a bit hesitant to follow the hype. The more people tell me I have to watch or play something, the less I feel inclined to do so. However, I was gladly proven wrong with Astro's Playroom and thankful that I finally picked it up. Platformers aren't usually my thing, because I have horrible depth perception in them and it's usually one of the first things that starts to annoy me (when I inevitably screw up somewhere). And while there was a spot or two where I fell off a few times because I misjudged, it's a good enough game that it didn't bother me (much). I think they did a great job showing off the Dualshock features, a good reminder of all the possibilities it has. At the time of completing they hadn't added the latest DLC, so I'm no longer at 100% completion, but it'll be fun diving back in there for brief moments as soon as the new content trickles in. Next up is, boy oh boy, another platformer! Who would have guessed. Basically, I was looking through my games for the next few things to play. I'm coming up on platinum number 20 and I can't help myself but care just a little about the milestones. Enough to want nice trophies for them. At the time I wasplaying AC Valhalla and kinda want that to be my 20th platinum, so I took a break and discovered SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom was leaving the subscription service on the 18th. I used it to mark off the 'In a Series New to You' square because, while Spongebob itself isn't new to me, the games are. I had heard about this one, but didn't really know there were others as well. I enjoyed my time with it a lot. A surprising amount of dialogue (almost all of it I think?) is voice acted, which is pretty cool. The only thing that dropped my enjoyment was the rolling ball puzzle. All in all, I'm almost finished with the next Spongebob game, so I think that says enough. Spoiler B1: God of War (PS4) for 'Award-Winning' B3: This Bed We Made (PS5) for 'Last Game You Acquired' G5: Jet Moto 2 (PS5) for 'Racing or Sports'
Popular Post MAUSZX
Second Bingo. Time for an update: Sports: Soccer Story. Not an amazing game, but it is decent, basically is half arcade soccer and half adventure rpg. 6.2/10 With a Female Protagonist: Call of the Sea, an easy platinum that is on PSPLUS Extra. Is about a woman looking for his husband that went and look for a cure for his wife and never came back, so she (you) go to that place to investigate and find out what happened. 7.4/10 Oldest in your backlog: Dead to Rights Retribution Now this was a struggle, because I didn't know if it meant oldest as in the time it came out or oldest as in the amount of time it has been in my backlog, regardless because I really don't know which is my oldest game in the backlog I went for a PS3 game and it was Dead to rights retribution. Very good game, I really would like some sort of remake, this game might be a hidden gem. 7.6/10 CULT FAVOURITE : Kena and Bridge of spirits. One of the early PS5 games and a PSPLUS EXTRA, pretty sure it was a time exclusive for Playstation, the game is beautiful, great combat, good puzzles, good story, and yet this game is still a Hidden Gem, very few people talk about it, but the ones that do talk about it are fans. 8.7/10. ISOMETRIC VIEW: Midnight Fight Express, another game on PSPlusExtra. This is an indie, hack and slash, beat em up kinda game, Isometrics, it seems that this game is in the Hotline Miami universe, some might say it just a Cameo, but I disagree lol, different developer tho, but still the game is not the same but feels like a Hotline Miami type of game, because is an indie game it has some flaws here and there that might frustrate some but I honestly loved the game, even though I almost throw the controller and scream at the tv a few times, is one of those games that I ended up loving it. 8.2/10 Detective theme: Sherlock Holmes Chapter one. I think this is very obvious, might be my least favourite Sherlock game I have played, but it does a lot of things different, so I have to give props for trying to change things a bit and keep it fresh. 7.8/10 Online features: Odd Ballers: This is a weird dodgeball online party game (you can play offline), also on PSPLUS extra, also the more surprising thing about this game is that is a Ubisoft game, one of those maybe half indie games that Ubisoft picked up, is so weird and of course the Uplay stuff is weird too, I think people should play it if they have Extra, it is a fun game and the platinum is very easy, get it before they killed the game. 6.8/10 DLC PACK: Overcooked 2 Carnival of Chaos: I choose this one because is the last one that I have done, could have picked from DBD or any other Overcooked 2 dlc. Not a lot to say, if you like overcooked 2 you will like this one. Also played with my wife and we are not divorcing or anything, so that means we are in a pretty solid place. 7.9/10 Edited June 14 by MAUSZX
Popular Post GT__Jedi
Spiritfarer (That Gives You The Feels) Woah, now this is a powerful game. For me, it reminded me of a combination of Stardew Valley and Journey; meeting people, creating, building your home, love and loss. I HIGHLY recommend this game. It was beautiful, fun and the characters were engaging and interesting. I got attached to all of them, and when they asked to be taken to the Everdoor I felt a great sadness. I even kept some of them around just because I didn't want to lose them. Building and exploring was a blast! Graphics were seamless, no glitches or problems, and the trophies popped without issues. There is quite a bit of information online if you get stuck or just have questions on the game. This is not a game to try to rush, but one to enjoy and just go for the ride. Play it.

Now, 12 years later, it was good to remember what made me love this game so much back then to the point of going after the platinum, which I still consider one of my greatest achievements as a player since hack and slash in general is super hard for me. Few games come close to having so much creativity and charisma; - Loretta for O-3 Underplayed (owned by <1000 players): All Loretta wants is to collect her cheating husband's life insurance money and go enjoy the last of her youth in the California sun drinking margaritas served by strong, tanned young men. And our job is to try to make that dream come true. Or not. "Loretta" has excellent dialogues, several choices with different outcomes, beautiful pixel art and it's full of references (Bates Motel, The Shining, 1922...). A gift for fans of the genre. Too bad it's so short. I finished it in a day. Currently with only 63 players;

Popular Post Xhortastic
Back already with another update. N2: SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake (PS5) for 'Anthropomorphized Animals' As I mentioned in my previous post, I was pretty close to completing SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake already, so it's not that surprising. As one does when they have a Bingo Board set up for the year, I always look to see if anything I want to play falls neatly into a category. For a while there I had planned to use this game for the 'Redeemed from PS Plus' category, until I realised that SpongeBob and friends are anthropomorphic animals. There are some other games that I want to play still that also fit that category, but for now those can go back into the backlog. To be honest, I quite enjoyed the Cosmic Shake as well. I found it even a bit more fun than Battle for Bikini Bottom, mostly because there were less parts I struggled at and it made for a smoother experience overall. As for other games, I'm still slowly chipping away at MHW and at AC Valhalla. That last one I'm planning to have as my 20th platinum, though currently I'm not quite sure yet if I'm also going to go for the 100% in one go. MHW (and hopefully Rise as well) I want to finish before Wilds comes out. The next update will probably take longer than this one, because Valhalla isn't the shortest game out there. Though from playing once before I think I can comfortably say that I'm almost at the halfway point (story-wise) in the base game. Popular Post DrBloodmoney
One more entry down! Box: "Favourite Genre" Game: "Patrick's Parabox" A super smart, geometric puzzle game made by a single developer. It's a series of block-pushing puzzles that use non-Newtonian physics to create internal loops of realities, as boxes are pushed into boxes, which contain other boxes, which contain other boxes, which contain the first box... ...and it is brain-bending and clever in all the best ways. Looks simple and clean and very well done, it's tough, but the puzzles are self-contained enough and allow experimentation enough to be solved with enough puzzling (and sometimes sheer force of patience!) An awesome puzzle game that any puzzle-enthusiast should be aware of! Puzzle games are my favourite genre... so this one goes in the favourite genre box.

Popular Post hyousai
Updating again with the first BINGO on my second card. Currently, Coffee Talk 2, Blasphemous II, and High on Life all need only one trophy to plat, but I'm saving them for specific days this week to fulfill slots for the 366 day challenge. Also, I've looked through my backlog, and I think for the "Series New to You" square, I'm either going with Wild Arms, Bayonetta (which I own on PC but haven't played yet so it still counts), or a Resident Evil game. Leaning towards the former, but still open to ideas. B1. New Series B2. Favorite Genre B3. Scifi/Fantasy – High on Life (Chose this for platinum #420, obviously. Reasonably entertaining, even if the Rick and Morty style humor does get old after 15 hours. Managed to find most collectibles on my own without a guide, though it was a bit tedious.) B4. For PSN Event – Coffee Talk 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly (Chill times making coffee for satyrs, banshees, and werewolves. This game is also helping fulfil the purple slot in my 2024 Kaleidoscope challenge.) B5. Sidescroller/Bullet Hell I1. One Word Title – Nexomon I2. Nonhuman Sidekick – Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier I3. Started but not Finished- Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom I4. Crafting - Dave the Diver I5. DLC Pack/Standalone DLC N1. Meaning to get around to N2. Meant to get to last year N3. Player’s Choice N4. Last Purchased Game – Another Crab’s Treasure N5. Adventure G1. Award-Winning G2. Recommended - TOEM G3. Takes Forever G4. Metroidvania/Roguelike – Blasphemous II (Not sure whether I like this or the original better. Boss quality is probably more consistent in the first game, but this game has some real standouts. The speedrun and no-hit trophies were surprisingly simple. I got the speedrun done on my first try at 22 minutes out of a maximum of 30, and by choosing to attempt the no-hit fight on an early-game boss, I got it in only 2 tries.) G5. Player Choice/Multiple Endings O1. Snacks O2. Antihero/Bad Guy O3. One Sitting – Panzer Dragoon Remake O4. No Humans – Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (Very happy I got to play through one of my favorite games again, even with the muddy visuals and somewhat borked trophy images.) O5. Released in Birth Month
Popular Post stuthesheep
Time to mark off a couple more, including another line. Good stuff! First is N5 and open world with Assassin's Creed Mirage. Although the open world is apparently quite a bit smaller than Odyssey and Valhalla (not played either, the size of Origins has so far put me off trying them!) but you still get free roam around Baghdad and the surrounding desert, which is plenty to keep you occupied. Enjoyable enough, maybe a little short in story terms though. Maybe I'd have been more invested if I'd played Valhalla first, but I didn't fancy finding a spare 100-150 hours to do that! Next is O5 and a foreign country game, marked off with Blair Witch - developed by Bloober, hailing from Poland - land of excellent sausage, my extremely hot next door neighbour and the first team to be eliminated from the 2024 European Championships (although as a Scot, I don't think we'll be too far behind them, so no shade here!). Cheer up lads, you still have Iga Swiatek - and distinctly average horror games apparently. Although to be fair I did really enjoy the first playthrough, just didn't stand up to a re-run when you had an idea of what was coming. Spoiler I1 (Choices/Endings) - Mass Effect 3 16/5 N1 (Retro) - Secret of Mana 8/2 G1 (Dislike) - Forspoken 16/4 O1 (Player Operated Vehicles) - FAR: Changing Tides 14/2 B2 (Anthropomorphised Animals) - Sonic Forces 28/2 I2 (Historical) - A Plague Tale: Requiem 23/1 I3 (Non-Human Sidekick) - Mass Effect 3 7/5 N2 (Same Letter) - South Park: The Stick of Truth 12/3 O2 (PSN Year) - South Park: The Fractured But Whole (2017) 19/3 B3 (One Sitting) - Lake 27/1 G3 (New Series) - A Plague Tale: Innocence 15/1 O3 (Sci-Fi) - Scars Above 5/3 B4 (Last Game) - Marvel's Spider-Man 2 1/4 I4 (Recommended) - Omno 4/1 O4 (Expanded Universe) - Mass Effect 25/4 I5 (No Humans) - Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion 25/1 N5 (Open World) - Assassin's Creed Mirage 8/6 G5 (Exclusive) - Concrete Genie 7/3 O5 (Foreign) - Blair Witch (Poland) - 13/6

Popular Post ShinigamiSensei-
Hi all! It's been a while but i'm back with five new games for my card! Let's see: I2 - With Minigames In It - Final Fantasy IX Tetra Master, Frog Catching, Chocobo Hot And Cold and obviously, the infamous Jump Rope are some of the minigames in this title. This is an amazing game but the trophy list is terrible. I3 - Arcade, Rhythm or Puzzle - Hello Neighbor 2 Mediocre puzzle/stealth game with an easy platinum. I already played Hello Neighbor 1 and Hide and Seek...so why not? 🤷♂️ N1 - Romance or Romance Options - Persona 3 Portable One of the beloved entries in the Persona Franchise and the game that established the formula that Atlus' series is now so well known for. A great game with the best story in the series in my opinion. N3 - Player's Choice - Persona 4 The Golden This is the perfect JRPG? probably!... This game has the best cast of characters of the entire series? of course!... Chie is best girl? Absolutely!!! ❤️❤️❤️ O1 - Adventure - SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake The Cosmic Shake really does feel like a direct sequel to Battle for Bikini Bottom, i was genuinely impressed by the sheer amount of variety in the level designs, gameplay mechanics, and minigames. So, that's it! Just 6 more games for the blackout. Keep up the good work!!! See U. B1 - Free To Play - Bleach: Brave Souls ✅ B2 - Release in your Birth Month (August) - Tinykin B3 - Starts With The First Letter of your PSNID - Siren ✅ B4 - Has no Platinum Trophy - Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition ✅ B5 - Non-Human Sidekick - The Wild At Heart I2 - With Minigames In It - Final Fantasy IX I3 - Arcade, Rhythm or Puzzle - Hello Neighbor 2 I4 - Antihero or Bad Guy - Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin +💯 N1 - Romance or Romance Options - Persona 3 Portable N3 - Player's Choice - Persona 4 The Golden N5 - Oldest In Your Backlog - Bayonetta G1 - That You've Been Meaning to Get To - Cuphead +💯 G2 - Anthropomorphized Animals - Odin Sphere Leifthrasir G4 - With Online Features - Need For Speed Heat G5 - Metroidvania or Rogue-Like - Moonscars O1 - Adventure - SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake O3 - Retro Re-release (Originally w/o Trophies) - The Legend Of Dragoon O4 - That Takes "Forever" To Beat - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim +💯 O5 - Aliens or Robots - 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
Popular Post zaxonzaxon
Updatin': N2 - With a Female Protagonist: Man🦈Eater I'm sure this category was created with Lara Croft, Aloy, etc. in mind, but I am using a gigantic man-eating female bull shark, because... well, gigantic man-eating female bull shark, that's why. G3 - In-game Weather Effects: Hundred Days 🍇 This is a "cozy wine-making simulator." I played it mostly because it fit a bunch of events I'm doing this year (and I like management sims), but it felt like a shallow mobile game for wine moms who dream of moving to Tuscany. It didn't do much for me, but it has rain, snow, and hail that plague your grape crops, so it fits this box nicely. B1 - Non-human sidekick: Endling🦊Extinction is Forever A Fox mama's cubs that you need to protect and care for is a bit of a stretch for "sidekicks," but they do learn skills throughout the game that help you out as you play. That's pretty sidekick-y. ( don't have anything better for this box, leeme alone.) Popular Post DrBloodmoney
One more entry down! Box: "Contains Holiday Themes" Game: "Pentiment" A great historical mystery "whodunnit" style investigation game, with an amazing art-style, all based around medieval manuscripts, woodcuts and texts, during the 16th century in Bavaria. The visual style is very cool, and the murder-mystery aspects are well done - with a time-hopping mechanic, where you are playing in multiple decades of the same town, seeing the town change, and the ramifications of your previous actions on the town and the families within it. The entire third act of the game takes place in the run up to Christmas, with the town preparing celebrations, and the mystery plot crescendoes on Christmas itself, so it feels right for this box!
