Popular Post Dragon-Archon
Bioware has posted a mini-game called 'Quest for the Red Lyrium Reapers' on the Dragon Age Inquisition website. During the mini-game you have to watch 3 character trailers and after that watch a special version with green smoke and click on them to unlock codex entries. After the 3 trailers a 4th is unlocked in which you can gain the Red Lyrium Reapers Weapon Pack. During the 4th trailer a bar will pop up and you have to click on the dot above it and scroll through the part of the trailer to find the weapon. There are 3 objects in every trailer. You have to log in or create an Origin account on the DA:I website before playing the mini-game in order to register the weapon pack. After logging in and completing the mini-game, start DA:I and log in to the Bioware Network (= the same as the Origin account you used before starting the mini-game). You have to reach Skyhold and accept the mission 'Find the Arcanist' at the War Table to obtain the Red Lyrium Reapers. The weapon pack consists of 3 weapons: Blade of Tuhna Allied (dagger) Staff of Aidahn Allied Sword of Charris Allied The mini-game can be found here: http://quest.dragonage.com/en-us/ and you can find the locations of the green smoke here: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Quest_for_the_Red_Lyrium_Reapers Source: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Margerard/DAI:_Gameplay_Launch_Trailer_-_A_Wonderful_World_(UPDATED:_Promotional_game) Edited November 21, 2014 by Dragon-Archon

Masamune
I've been thinking about starting this series so went ahead & found the 3 weapons, even though I don't have any plans to get this any time soon.

Mr_Freaker
Do I need to have played origins and 2 to understand whats happening in Inquisition ? Yes, A lot of factions, events and charachters will become unclear to you. New players are advised to look up the lore alongside visiting dragon age keep (website)

Dragon-Archon
Do I need to have played origins and 2 to understand whats happening in Inquisition ? Like Mr Freaker said, DA2 is the trigger for certain events in DA:I. Where can I retrieve the weapons ingame ? there is no Storage chest in this one I haven't played DA:I yet, because the EU release date is November 21st, but in DA2 you had to progress a little through the story to access a storage chest. Thanks Dragon i cant wait to try it Sad you dont have for the ps4, i would love to coop if you You're welcome buddy , is there no cross-play? Excuse me, but that Log in to Origins account means it's only for PC version? New in this. Yes you have to log in with an Origin account, but it's not restricted to the PC version. When you play the game on the PS3/4, you can log in to the Bioware Social Network (which is the same as the Origin account) and retrieve the weapon DLC. I'll also post this in the OP. Gatatog
I'm so tempted by this but having just started the game I'm not even sure if I want to use my deluxe edition weapons and armour. Gear progression and crafting seems to be a big part of the game so I'm not sure if I want to use potentially OP stuff from the start.

Time4Tiddy
The storage chest is in the house you wake up in after the prologue. Oops, sorry, that chest is where the bonus weapons for pre-order/deluxe are located, I just assumed that's where these would be as well. Thanks for the tip, I did the web game, not sure how interested I am in wielding Red Lyrium weapons after what it did to Meredith, though... Thanks for the tip, I did the web game, not sure how interested I am in wielding Red Lyrium weapons after what it did to Meredith, though... LOL , I seriously doubt those weapons will have the same effect as in DA2. Although it would be cool to command an army of statues and to perform super jumps. I'm so tempted by this but having just started the game I'm not even sure if I want to use my deluxe edition weapons and armour. Gear progression and crafting seems to be a big part of the game so I'm not sure if I want to use potentially OP stuff from the start. Those Red Lyrium weapons are lvl 7, so it's probably not that overpowered.
