I wanted to start this thread were each of us can Share what we loved from this year...It doesn't need to be gaming related(If you loved finally getting that new car, or finally paying off your mortgage, started a relationship for the first time...Etc.) For me the things I loved about 2014 were: 01. A lot of my favorite games got Localized this year: Xblaze code : EMBRYO ONE PIECE Unlimited World Red Fairy Fencer F Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd Akiba's Trip: Undead and undressed Ar Nosurge Ode to an Unborn Star 02. I always knew about Blazblue since 2010(Since I had played A few Guilty Gear titles on PS2, and heard about Arc System Works making a new Series Called Blazblue who i'd see people on Justin.TV Stream a few times), but never really got into the Series; except it was this year where I played and loved it so much that It became one of my Favorite Fighting game Series(Got attached to some of the characters fast)...Felt Shamed to have avoided it till this year(2014). 03. The Release of Smash Bros 3DS/U, this game by far has turned into an enjoyable addiction for me; since I got it. 04. Getting A Collector/Limited Edition from Some of my Most Favorite Series: Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX CE Fairy Fencer F CE BlazBlue Continuum Shift EXTEND Limited Edition LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII CE Assassin's Creed Unity Limited Edition Final Fantasy Type-0 CE(Just need to wait for it) Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN Limited Edition(PS4) 05. Got to play Guacamelee!...A game I had been superficial about for some reason, and bought it during a sale; and wow do I feel shamed for those thoughts....because It turned out being one of my most favorite indie games thus far. 06. This is probably my 2nd year as A plus member, and this year decided to take more advantage of the free offered titles...I Enjoyed getting A lot of the games I got from my $50(1 year) subscription's IGC, titles such as: Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remember Me Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse Stick It to the Man! Skullgirls: Encore Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Muramasa Rebirth Strider Vessel Dragon's Crown Velocity 2X Dust: An Elysian Tail Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara Rainbow Moon The Hungry Horde Secret Ponchos Hitman HD Trilogy Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut Titan Attacks! 07. Was Introduced to Skullgirls through IGC, which also ended up(similar to Blazblue) "became My Favorite Fighting Game Series"; not to mention loved seeing how humble Lab Zero Games is toward their fans. 08. I have really Enjoyed the Dressrosa Arc from One Piece this year, it's probably the Darkest Arc in the Series(IMO). 09. Got to Watch(Anime related): Psycho Pass Season 2 One Piece Film Z in English Dub K Missing Kings 10. Got to Watch(Wrestling related): ROH 12th Anniversary ROH Supercard of Honor VIII ROH WAR OF THE WORLDS ROH Best in The World ROH Field of Honor ROH Death before Dishonor XII ROH Champions vs All Stars ROH Glory by Honor XIII ROH Final Battle TNA Slammiversary TNA Bound for Glory NXT Arrival NXT Takeover II NXT TakeOver: R Evolution PWG DDT4 PWG Mystery Vortex II PWG Sold our Soul for Rock 'n Roll PWG ELEVEN. 11. September 6th The Day: Jay Briscoe was The Reigning ROH World Champion(Reign Began September 6th) AJ Styles was The Reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion(Reign Began May 3rd) Kyle O'Reilly was The Reigning PWG World Champion(Reign Began May 23rd) 12. All solid games IMO Console wise, I completed my PS ecosystem with a PS4 and Vita Edit: Oh, and also playing KH:BBS for the first time! DEMON Posted December 17, 2014 Share Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) I started my first sleeve tattoo (which isn't going to be finished until sometime in 2015 lol). Been wanting one for years, finally saved up the amount of money to allow me to get it done. I got a job that actually lasted a bit over 6 months. I made good progress on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and hope to have the platinum sometime in 2015. And I made my own website for my art. My job paid me to visit Washington DC. I am a history and political junkie. It was wonderful. I got a new car (2014 Honda Civic). Her name is Elizabeth from Persona 3. Because it's blue. I started playing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn to reconnect with friends in Florida and am now in end-game. I hope to plat realisitcally by late 2015, early 2016. My 3.5 DnD campaign celebrated over a year of existence. My character at least is still going strong. I found PSNProfiles and started trophy hunting. I met some awesome people here *looks at RoyalRedPanda specifically* Alot of Japanese games got localized. Yakuza 5 descended from the heavens and promised to grace us with its beauty. I went to Dragoncon for the first time. I randomly met the original dub cast of Sailor Moon in a vendor hall. Someone in Game of Thrones died. I had a burger at The Vortex in Atlanta, Georgia.
