JFthebestJan Posted September 12, 2015 Share Posted September 12, 2015 hey, i tried to log in to this site with my PSVita, which was no problem at all until today. after the CAPTCHA BS it asks me to copy/paste a random text, which isn't possible at all with the Vita. so i request to change it to the old system, because i want to use my Vita for this site. this situation is a bad joke, it really is. i don't want to fire up my laptop every time, just to be able to post something. this change for the log in process is user unfriendly! There's not much else that can be done when it's 10,000+ different IPs submitting PSNIDs. I also don't have a problem logging in on the vita... BlindMango Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 As said above, the reCaptcha thing had to be added because the site was being hit with thousands of requests from bots which were slowing the site to a standstill - the queue was also just full and nobody could update. I have never encountered something like this. Obviously you should edit out any info that is entered like email and password if they are on the screen. PleaseHoldOn Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 I wonder if Sly has the ability to pick and choose what kind of Recaptcha tests it can perform... if you leave the site, clear your cookies/cache and try again, do you always get that same copy/paste test? kittyxiii Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 I had the same problem just the other day - I selected the images and was asked to copy/paste the code so I refreshed the page and the same thing happened again :/ It's annoying, but after the bot situation that happened a few months back I understand why it's there.
