PSA: For those going for the "Pass the Torch" Team Relay trophy

This little tip was buried within a thread at .org (and I posted this exact same thing over there, too), but I figured I would create a topic here to make sure everyone still going for this trophy knows, to save them some time:

 

The trophy description says hold the torch for 20 seconds 25 times... this is untrue! You only need to hold it, even for just 1 second, for it to count towards the 25 times. Our entire boosting team was able to get the trophy barely into our second Team Relay match, by tagging (and being tagged by) our teammate as quickly as possible, and never holding the torch for more than a few seconds at most.

Yep. Still works. Don't progress the level and you can do it on your first match. Might get some randoms, but just continuously spawn into oncoming traffic, and 50 swaps between 2 partners should yield the trophy for both of you

Confirming as well that it works, just don't progress through the race and keep on passing the torch, Shifting into any nearby traffic car as soon as you lose the torch yourself (your car is totaled as soon as you pass it). Did it in a single event, very quick trophy to get out of the way.
