SkyMason Posted November 10, 2016 Share Posted November 10, 2016 It's not based on any one particular movie, but a parody of the old American Sci-Fi movies from the 50s to early 80s. The animation of the enemies is heavily based on the visual effects work of Ray Harryhausen who was famous for his Stop-motion animation technique in movies like Mighty Joe Young, Jason & the Argonauts, Clash of the Titans, and so on.
