I didn't hate the game, even with all the linearity, but I just didn't have the patience to farm items after finishing the game in order to upgrade all the weapons and accessories. I put in probably 20 hours of grinding in before throwing in the towel. Actually, now that I think about it, given the amount of time it takes to hunt and kill those giant turtles over and over again, maybe I don't envy you all that much after all...
