Been working 10-hour days the whole summer, not much time for gaming, been keeping up with my one trophy a day-thing at least.

But finally today I managed to get some game-time, finished Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, interesting game. Felt like a ghost story, not a scary one, more like when you were a kid and told "scary" stories to your friends. I didn't get bored of it even though I had to play it through a few times. I recommend it for sure!

Will see how many more trophies I'll manage to get, but I am hoping for at least a few more!

Update 7: Managed to get most of the trophies for Salt and Sanctuary, but will have to do a second playthrough mainly because of a particular trophy. Now I know why that particular trophy is the rarest next to Platinum. The trophy isn't hard but the fact that its the rarest means that just about most people who play the game fell victim to the ill-timed dialog requirement that's easy to overlook for the side quest. Oh well, guess I have my quest cut out for me.

Finally started this game. Definitely not worth the wait. I don't even think my kids really like the game. Maybe there is something I don't understand about the mechanics, but I find it actually more of a challenge then I care for to reach the objectives in the levels. It seems a lot more work than it is worth, but oh well I'll knock it out soon enough.

I started this game last night. It is like a detective puzzle game I guess. It is kind of interesting so far. I will have to keep playing and see what I think.

 

I know for sure that I can finish The Raven, Catlateral Damage, and Wheels of Aurelia this month. Less sure about Star Wars, I really have no interest in going back to the challenges. I'm sure I can beat it, it is simply a lack of motivation.

 

As an aside, I also finally platinumed Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit last night. Didn't include it in the challenge because I am not paying full price for the DLC, but feel really good about the platinum.

I'll try and finish Streets of Rage 2 at some point.  I was working on Danganronpa 2.  I didn't add it here, but I should have.  just platinumed that and loved it...until Magical Miracle Girl Monami.  That part can suck it

Update 8: Finished Salt and Sanctuary. Did almost an entire playthrough just to clean up the last two trophies. I seriously think that last trophy's elusiveness is there by design and not error, based on the fact that it brings the player full circle. In all, it was a decent game, but I could tell that it could've been a little better, especially technical-wise. I'm throwing one last game of the list, "Code: Realize ~Guadian of rebirth~". Should be an easy plat seeing as it's a visual novel, but this is as far I go in this Summer Challenge. Might Just Relax a few days before I do the last game.

Nothing much. I did finally get the item that gives me an extra ground attack in Croixleur Sigma and that bump up was the result. Still need that last story mode clear but I'm having difficulty getting it under 10 minutes. It's much harder than the other one. I did unlock Dungeon Mode but I'm constantly dying at floor 45 of 50, which is a less than ideal result when I'm trying to clear it. As for some of the JRPGs on the list I made some small progress in each. Them taking so long is probably a reason why I shouldn't put too many on any future lists like this.

Made some progress in every game I have left. I am on the last level of Star Wars on Unleashed difficulty. If I beat that, it should come with a rather significant boost to that percentage. Catlateral Damage is still garbage. The mechanics are hard, the game is dull and it takes more investment than it is worth. Wheels of Aurelia is rather esoteric in a lot of its subject matter, but the different story endings are enough to keep me intrigued for now. Finally, the Raven is interesting, but the controls are so clunky I find myself mildly frustrated at the whole thing. But the story is interesting so far. Wheels of Aurelia should finish up first, probably followed by the Raven. Have to fight the boredom of Catlateral Damage, and then that just leaves the very difficult challenges of Star Wars.

Managed to finish Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters. It's not like I think it's a bad game, it's just very very verrrry unpolished... in pretty much every aspect. 

 

Berseria is almost finished, I just need another ~3 million gald. I enjoyed it a lot more than the last three entries in the series, though not quite as much as my favorite 'Tales of' games. It's a pretty good game overall. The platinum is/was a lot grindier than I expected it to be tbh. x3

 

 

Soooooo, I probably won't be able to finish on time. It's vacation time and lots of people at work are either on vacation or sick, so it's been an unexpectedly busy last three weeks for me and that's not going to change until september.

However I'll try to at least start and finish Atelier Sophie and maybe Gravity Rush.

Had another good night last night. Got some more progress in all the games I have left. I beat Unleashed difficulty in Star Wars. Once I switched my lightsabers to Purple and it boosted my defense the end of the game was super easy. I wish I had known that all along. I beat a few more endings in Wheels of Aurelia. Probably finish that up by tomorrow. I put a bit more time into Catlateral damage and its starting to click more. Its still garbage though. Finally in Raven I only got one trophy but it is the super glitchy Criminal Scene Investigator, which apparently gives a lot of people trouble. So that is good news.
