This series will never come West, not whilst Sony is on a censoring spree and the SJW's are getting their collective knickers in a twist and making life miserable for developers in general. Whilst Scarlet has some nice gameplay tweaks and 2 additional characters, the game has been censored to hell and back so either wait for the tweaks and new characters to get patched into the original release (which should be soon) or buy the superior and 100% uncut Switch version.

Really... All they've done is remove the costumes which rip and the removed two items - one lets you blow a girls skirt and the other makes the boobs wobble a bit more. How is that "censored to hell and back"? It doesn't impact the actual gameplay of the game or change anything about the game other than losing the ability to do a few questionable things.

Don't forget, the PS4 version has full VR, so you can still go in VR and watch as they wobble themselves in front of you. 

Also, the Switch version isn't 'superior' just because you can get your frills on with the above things - that version has no VR and runs at 30fps and a much lower resolution. So, if you're interested in the game and possible VR then the PS4 version is the best - if you like running it at half the framerate and a much blurrier image, but you can make her boobs wobble a bit more because you don't know how to search for things on the internet, then pick up the Switch version

Censorship is still censorship and if I have sacrifice the graphics and VR support to get the uncensored version, then so be it.

You do know the censorship policy is from Sony Japan right and has nothing to do with SIE? And Tecmo has been the reason for a lack of release overseas, not Sony, as they said they didn't want to deal with the internet outcry from certain "groups"

I never understood this argument. Just because soft-core porn exists censoring is fine? It's cut content and doesn't give the full experience the developer intended. Age ratings exist.

 

Should we just start censoring games like GTA and Mortal Kombat 11 while we're at it? Remove all hints of blood and the like. 

I'm sure you can find videos on the internet :^)

Censorship is bad indeed, but if i can chose between anime pedo bewbs or gore blood, i pick gore and blood , oh yeah nahui .

Elaborate on 'anime pedo boobs' ?

Quite generalizing when the only character in the game that looks young is Marie Rose - she's 18 btw - and was inspired by lolita culture. (Which is common in Japan)

 

Just because you dislike one genre over the other doesn't mean you should call it a pedo game. Just like I won't call you a psychopath for enjoying your gore games.
