It is not Gradius, but I can give you hint: it is a series which can now be considered retro as it started back on DOS, however it is still released and latest game was on PS4.

I'm not good with dos games at all, is it doom? The squad part is throwing me off.

 

You fight monsters, explore towns and dungeons and complete side quests. A wonderful story awaits, however theres a chance this game may become a gambling simulator if you get too distracted by the casino.

Wanted to let others give it a whirl to avoid too much of a back and forth. Screamed XCOM to me, but after reading your hint about the lastest instalment being on PS4, I have my doubts. Is it a different game, or did you miss Chimera Squad? (Only PC for now).

Might apply to Fallout: New Vegas; even though the term "dungeon" feels strange, it could be a good "bad way" of describing vaults, ’cause as far as video games are concerned, that’s basically what they are.

This is unfair in some way, every god damn game past 2 years or more. From the last... Project Cars 3.

 

One guy lived in a room, other guy loved that room, a girl lived in next room, some other people died because of that room. Mostly nothing but average ordinary apartment in the middle of human's mentality.
