Popular Post visighost
There isn't a whole lot of information on the game around, and the trophy/achievement guides are fragmentary. Thought I'd sum it up here. You'll need a minimum of 2 playthroughs (though I'm personally at my 5th). 3 or 4 might be more reasonable. 1st: Demon Slayer: Kill all the monsters you see. There aren't a ton of them, so this should come naturally (I'm actually pretty sure it's unmissable). Pinstripe God: IMPORTANT: This needs to be done on a blank save. It seems the game will register you got hurt on a previous playthrough if using NG+. it actually looks like it saves as soon as you get hurt, as dashboarding didn’t work for me. Regular enemies pose no problems but be careful of them dropping bombs right iver your head, the barrel chasm, the catapult scene, and the bombs that sometimes pop out of breakable items. The last boss should be simple enough - stay well clear of the lightning bolts and back up if you get there untouched, though. If this gets frustrating, I would recommend to relax and go for this trophy as the last step - it shouldn't take long anyhow. Sherlock: This should come naturally. None are hidden and most are story-related. Be sure to dig when you see paw prints, and pick up the notebook on the train. Not So Nice Guy: I would recommend going for the "mean" trophy on your first playthrough, as it typically involves making a selection instead of just mashing X through dialogue. Just pick the "moon" option as often as you can (or more often than the sun anyhow). 2nd: Explorer: The secret rooms aren't secret at all: they're the rooms with the golden locks that you can open now that you have the golden key that's given for completing the game. The rooms are filled with drops and butterflies: be sure to collect everything! Oh and don't bother entering the first one until you get the slingshot as you can't break the gravestones without it. Frozen Drop Addict: You'll get this from the drops in the secret rooms Puppy Papa, Gangster, and Dapper Ted: You get those for buying the respective items in the "hidden" shops. They're indicated by obvious yellow lights in some areas. They're pretty expensive (500, 1000, and 400 drops if I remember correctly), so they're realistically only available after accessing the secret rooms. Lepidopterologist: Most of the hidden butterflies are in the secret rooms (3 in the graveyard and 1 in each other I believe), so you can only get this on a second playthrough. Butterflies follow you around so you'll know how many you have at any time. The Steam guide says one appears after the spot-the-difference puzzle in the cave, but I don't think I noticed one, so it may be a PC-PS4 difference. Nice Guy: I would recommend doing this as you're going for the speed run since the "nice" choices are the default ones, so you can just mash X through the dialogues. 2nd or 3rd: Speed Demon: You should be able to finish the game under an hour even if going for the trophies above, but if not, just try again. It will likely take 30-45 minutes now that you know where useful items are (i.e. slingshot and lamp), and have enough money carrying over to buy the ticket right away. Note that you can switch to the Thompson if you bought it, so enemies pose no problem. 3rd or 4th: Don't forget to wipe your save (go to in-game Options) if you missed the Pinstripe God trophy the first time around, and go for it again. Good luck! ...and there you go. Hopefully this helps you through this beautiful, fun albeit depressing little game! Don't forget Atmos have a full walkthrough on their site if you get stuck. tony_snake_24
Hey I just saw this game on sale and it looked interesting. Thanks for the info! How hard is it to get all trophies and how long? Can you give an stimation?
visighost
Except for the no-damage run, very easy. I’d say your first run is an hour or so, and the subsequent ones 45 minutes? I keep getting hurt through silly mistakes, so I don’t have the last trophy yet, but I’m still not tired of the game. It looks and plays great! Now if dowloading a backed up save didn’t take so long, I’d be a happy camper... Edited November 14, 2020 by visighost

So save-scumming will not void Pinstripe God? As for the Speed Demon, will it track the console atomic clock or the time on the game save? If we reload a previous save, will we be able to turn back the clock to when we first made the back-up?
visighost
It’s been a while, but I’m pretty sure I imply save-scumming is ok above, so I’ll have to trust 2020 me. Likewise, I’m pretty sure it’s the save time that counts.
Eispan
Thanks for clarifying this! Cheers! EDIT: Just finished the game on Adventure Plus! and this mini-guide is spot on. So thanks for puttin this one out... Only Speed Demon and Pinstripe God to go. Just in case anyone is wondering if there are still glitched trophies like the Not So Nice Guy which has been talked about so much in the past on other forums - it is NOT. Popped as soon as Ted had gone back home to be with Bo. Both trophies (good and bad) will pop at the kitchen when father and daughter runs outside to play. If it does not pop here then that means we have screwed up with the dialogue choices somehow. Edited June 20, 2022 by Eispan
esstee11
Really great little indie game, more of you should play it it gets my high praise and recommendation for sure ? Really easy and straightforward trophy list, no guide needed, just do a couple of quick runs 30 mins-1hr each and 100% is all yours. Ps yep using a cloud save for a no damage run works totally fine, theres only like 4 instances you might be hit by anything anyway! (Ps falling down a hole missing a jump or failing a mini game is fine and doesnt count i did both and still got the trophy lol) And no trophies are glitched it all works perfectly. Really wonderful game really enjoyed it ? One of those kind of hidden gems, that no one has really heard of and not many have played, but the experience was a real joy ? Difficulty - 2.5/10. Time to 100% - 2 to 5 hours. Appreciation/enjoyment - 9/10. ? Edited April 12, 2023 by esstee11
visighost
If you enjoyed it, their other game Neversong is similar and also a lot of fun. The glitched trophies have been fixed, too!
esstee11
Yea neversong caught my attention when it first released, it wasnt until after I played Pinstripe that I realised it was by the same people, so I will def play that one for sure now too ?? Yeah, you can obtain it once you unlock "fire" shots by breaking the mushroom on the wall right next to the puzzle. So that's 6 in total during the game + 7 in epilogue = 13 total for the trophy. ------------- I also just finished NG++ run no damage and unfortunately, this is still broken. Will have to do one more run from fresh save.
StraightVege
Thanks; your tips combined with this walkthrough made it simple enough to reach 100%. Unfortunately, the aforementioned guide's writer does get their directions confused here and there, but it's nonetheless serviceable. Somehow, I didn't notice that I'd run into one of those tiny bombs the drones drop, early on during my first playthrough, so I ended up having to do an additional run for "Pinstripe God." What a rookie blunder! Regardless, I would definitely recommend obtaining the Songbird rifle on your no damage attempt, because fighting the final boss with a slingshot takes a while, increasing the probability that you'll take a hit. As for "Little Lady" (animal boss who charges you), I always lured her to a side of the screen and repeatedly bounced on her back until victory, without issue. Now, when it comes to that conveyor of barrels everyone hates platforming across, I never actually fell there, so I don't know if it counts as damage or not. It's likely best to play it safe and avoid that occurrence, though. All in all, a very reasonable trophy set that one can finish in under 6 hours, provided they don't screw up as badly as I did.
