There are reports of save files over 8 MB permanently corrupting, so just be careful about doing too much crafting and collecting.

Bad news just keeps coming, doesn't it?

How to check:

PS4:

Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Cyberpunk 2077

PS5:

Settings > Storage > [Storage Device] > Saved Data > PS4 Games > Cyberpunk 2077

Apparently all saves on ps4/5 shows as 12.59mb so there's no way to know but I've done a lot of item dupes and crafting and it's still fine after 75 hours of gameplay.

you know it is funny as all this keeps happening it is like fallout 76 levels of bs happening all over again but with CDPR on it then Bethesda. We better we work that song, toss a coin to CDPR they are kind of broke and only see you as money, only as money

It's Skyrim ps3 all over again.

*has flashbacks to the dark days of playing Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition on my ancient PS3, when the game started glitching, freezing/stuttering during gameplay, and making my PS3 soft-lock several dozen times (especially during the Mothership Zeta and Point Lookout DLC) once the save file surpassed a certain size*

Like Skyrim, once your Fallout 3 save file gets over a certain size, usually around 9 or 10 MB you start getting longer load times and drops in FPS. Skyrim was really bad when it was first released with 60+ second load times and FPS drops into the single digits. After the patches it's all but fixed.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas suffer from the same fate, though not as bad. Once you hit that file size (Generally after about 20-30 hours and with DLC) you will notice more FPS drops and longer load times. It's still playable however and not everyone notices it. The problem also doesn't start to crop up until late game and will only affect that save.
