It's something with the App Script functions that I built and embedded into the sheet. It's like they lose "permission" to access a link of any kind randomly and the fix is just for me to delete and retype them...which is complete garbage. @Hitman_Spinksy1 suggested refreshing the page and that seems to do the same as deleting/retyping and its an accessible option to anyone even viewers...I just HATE that its necessary. Xray11 Posted March 6 Share Posted March 6 I occasionally get an empty spreadsheet with N/A in the top line, but i check again later and it works. Popular Post Rebourne07 Posted March 7 Author Popular Post Share Posted March 7 I want to profusely apologize to everyone for the bugs and issues the Leaderboard has had due to the custom functions I tried to use to populate the data. There's a legitimate bug on Google's end that prevents the functions from working as intended so it's not within my power to fix them or make them work. Because of this I'll be switching the Leaderboards to use a Google Form to collect data instead of the FFChecklist. This sucks because 1) The FFChecklist has a better UI and 2) Everyone's already familiar with the FFChecklist. However, there's just no reliable way to get the data from the FFChecklist onto the Leaderboard sheet because of the above mentioned bug. @oYazmat has been amazing and doing his best to make everything work so I wanna say a huge thank you to him for doing everything he's done. All that said what does this mean? Long story short the Leaderboard will be down for today while I re-setup everything to work with Google Form responses and then each player will have to fill out the form to show up on the Leaderboard. The benefits of this system are that 1) everything will now be fully automated, 2) all changes will be immediate so you can immediately see your progress reflected on the Leaderboard and 3) I can implement some statistics and charts I've been wanting to implement to show most played games, most earned badges, etc. This will definitely be the best approach long term. Please be patient while I re-setup everything and forgive me for having you check everything again on a separate checklist. How do I update my completions in the future? Fill out the form again? Thank you! That helped me find a bug. It's now fixed and the sheet should auto-update for the next up-to 300 users. And just bookmark the google form link and when you complete a new game just check that game. As mentioned before i did play a lot of FF through my life (i played all the mainline games and a bunch of the spinoffs), but i never really platinumed any and a lot of the games were on PS1/2/3, etc. from times i didn't even have a PSN account yet. I've downloaded all my PS4 versions of the games to my PS5, which are XV, XII, X/X-2, World of, FF7-8-9, and got my ol'ps4 savefiles from the cloud so i have a bit of progress in a bunch of them (at least mainstory completed on most of these). Also have the pixel remasters and crisis core reunion ready to go. Lastly i downloaded FF14 to my PS5, and played a little bit, it popped a lot of trophies from my pc playhtough, all the way till Endwalker mainstory end. This one is still a long-run proejct though, mainly cause of the 3k fates, dungeons, etc. It's also a big struggle for me to adapt to playing this game with a controller, still have to set it all up better. I switched to a new machinist as that seems to have not as many buttons as my bard or other jobs i have, and it allows me to relearn the controller play by leveling up a new job. Just have to go and figure the order of playing them all. For now i'm having a great amount of fun playing Rebirth, so that will likely be my first ever FF platinum. After that i might finish off the Remake platinum (main story done ofcourse, and some of the other achievements) and play yhe Yuffie DLC (now i've seen what a cool character Yuffie is in rebirth). After this is done i'll either start by finishing off all the games i have PS4 saves for OR i might start with the pixel remasters and play the series from 1 onwards. Throughout this playing ff14 to work on my dungeon/fate achievements now and then. It all sounds like a lot of fun anyway, and i'm very glad i found this post, cause it invigorated me to look back at the series again!
