Miyazaki confirms Elden Ring will have more updates and From Software are working on multiple new titles

That’s great news. Elden Eing was such a major  step up from Sekiro imo. I would love to play a DLC pack or two for it. 
 

Hopefully future games they develop will have a lot of options when it comes to builds like Elden Ring and that they won’t go the route of Sekiro where you are forced to play with just one weapon and no armours.

Well considering the game sold 3 times more copies than expected and within months, not years. I bet Miyazaki's been waking up with a boner every morning, for months lol.

I look forward to DLC for the game, will be great to get back into and do more stuff in it.

Entirely expected, but very welcome, news.

 

I suspect at this point, given the sales and acclaim of the base game, a DLC for Elden Ring will likely sell more copies, - and be more profitable - than most full price games.

some of the new titles at From Soft are in final stages too, which should be no surprise. From Soft titles release relatively quick.

Still waiting for a sale to get Elden Ring, but with the game still selling well ( which is great) I don't think will happen anytime soon

Depends on what kind of fixes they are going to make because so far the patches we got were pretty much disappointing.

- phantom scaling still sucks

- player backstabs barely work

- BHS still makes people invulnerable in pvp

- helmet swapping exploit is still a thing

- status effect is applied even if rolled through the attacks perfectly

- dragon breath spells have way too much range

- stars of ruin attacks are still unavoidable

- shields are overpowered

- on higher levels (pvp and pve) everything does too much damage and requires at least 60 vig + HP ring to not get killed in two hits

 

The list goes on...

Too bad he doesn't like doing sequels. I would like to see Demon's Souls 2 made by him. I can play Bluepoint remakes of this masterpiece every 2 gens till the end of my life.
