Otherwise, all of us have had an unfair start on you!
Popular Post Hurricane_Tanya
I keep forgetting to update here I finally got my first bingo in row 2! N2 - By an Independent Developer - Afterparty by Night School. I’m a big fan of Oxenfree and I bought Afterparty years and years ago. I kept meaning to play it and finally forced myself to do it. I’m not sure why it took so long to get to either, the game is fun, with the great dialogue known from Oxenfree, but with added mini games and getting drunk G3 - Last Game You Acquired - Ravenous Devils. I thought I already owned this, but when I went to download it I saw it still had a price. It’s a time management game taking inspiration from Sweeney Todd, pretty fun while it lasted. It’s a short game though, more suited to mobile than console in my opinion. I was thinking about putting this down as my game with snacks, but as appetising as the pies look, they are made of human so… G4 - Has Snacks - Nour: Play With Your Food. Definitely more appetising than human pies. Nour is an interesting game about throwing food around, dying it different colours, smushing it up and trying to make music with it. O3 - Has No Humans - Teacup. This game is super cute, I actually got my 7 year old to play it after me. All about going and finding the ingredients to make tea in a forest full of Wind in the Willows looking animals. There are lots of mini games to keep things interesting, but it’s a very short game, I was done in less than 2 hours, and I’m pretty sure I didn’t miss anything.

ProfSeajay7
I think I can finish two Bingos this weekend. I found a game that was censored in America(visual novel) but I just need a Cult Favorite, and I don't know where I can find a list of those or what games classify as one. I could put down a Player's Choice but I am going to save that for later as my last choice was long done by the time I thought about using it. Popular Post Edunstar84
May update: I got Chaos on Deponia done! I'm so happy to be done with that game. The story was cool, and I loved the crafting elements of the game. I just completed Star Ocean Second Story r, and I can see why this is a fan favorite. To be honest, I don't quite remember the others; only that I liked the 5th installment but didn't want to do the endings. I think I played the series wrong and will be interesting to go back with a new understanding of the series. Second Story r is a great intro into the series, if anyone is interested in playing the game without pulling their hair out trying to kill 10,000 enemies or kill a certain boss at a specific time with a specific character (looking at your SO4). B5 - Chaos on Deponia N3 Player's Choice - Star Ocean Second Story r Games so far: I3 - In-game Weather Effects: Astro's Playroom I5 - Anthropomorphized Animals: FoxyLand 2 G2 - For Another PSNP Event: Octopath Traveler 2 for the RPG Event Ox - In a Series New to You: Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line Anyway, next game is Epic Word Search.

Popular Post CecieAngel
Let's have a first update 😊 As I just entered the competition I can fill my bingo card with a few games I have played in the last month. B1 - Free to play: AdVenture Capitalist I have played it already on mobile and had quite fun min-maxing my lemonade-empire I1 - Recommended by a PSNP Member: Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight recommended by @Sh7ne_ when I was asking for anime-styled trophy images. Fun-fact: I did my 1000th trophy milestone with this game and it was really fun to play! Big thanks for the recommendation! B2 - Arcade, Rhythm, or Puzzle: Pistol Whip very fun game, not too easy and not too hard and I definitly fell in love with some songs. Big recommendation for everyone owning a VR! I also have a few plans for the other games and I'm excited if I can do all of them
Popular Post hyousai
Another update. Only 4 squares to go. B1. # in title – Star Wars: Dark Forces Remastered B2. Expanded Universe - Danganronpa B3. PS Plus – (Planned to be Dave the Diver) B4. Inner Weeb – Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkuni (It’s by the people who did Senran Kagura, with all that entails. Hard to get more weeby than that. B5. Platform Exclusive – (Planned to be Stellar Blade) I1. Frightening/Horror – Observer: System Redux I2. Be the Bad Guy – Pumpkin Jack I3. 1st Letter of PSN - Haven I4. Scifi/Fantasy – Final Fantasy V I5. Snacks - The Gardens Between N1. Racing/Sports - (Planned to be Jak X) N2. Retro Re-release – Final Fantasy III N3. Player Choice – Final Fantasy VI N4. Arcade/Rhythm/Puzzle – Metal: Hellsinger N5. Online Features – Armored Core 6 – (I’m big into Fromsoft games, but I’d never played any Armored Core before this. I still have all the S-Ranks to go for before the plat, but I got all three of the game’s endings, which is good enough for me. Apparently this game has multiplayer in it, but it’s unnecessary for the plat and thus I have no intention of engaging with it. G1. Minigames – Doki Doki Literature Club – (Chose this for plat #404, as it seemed fitting. There was a poetry minigame in the middle of all the creepy stuff, so it goes here.) G2. Mystery – The Sexy Brutale G3. Crafting – The Wild at Heart G4. Expect to Dislike – Final Fantasy II G5. Indie Dev – Her Majesty’s Spiffing (An indie game I’d been interested in for a while, but never picked up because the price was too high. The game finally went on sale, so I grabbed up. Turns out the game has basically two jokes: “HA HA BRITISH PEOPLE” and “HA HA FRENCH PEOPLE”. Go figure. O1. Nonviolent – Pinball Heroes (Didn’t initially plan on this one, but I got the plat as part of the “platinum every genre” challenge as this was the easiest option for the Pinball genre. Decided the game could also fit the Nonviolent square here.) O2. One Sitting – The Artful Escape O3. One Word Title - (Planned to be Minit or Tunic) O4. In-game Weather – Ghostwire: Tokyo O5. Female Protagonist – Sword of the Vagrant Edited May 13 by hyousai
Popular Post graphic_violins8
Oktwo more down, and I think this will be my last update till I'm done with the board. I'm about done with ANIMAL WELL for Metroidvania and it's really damn good, if you're interested. I'm also up to 6 bingos (detailed in the spoiler). But, without further ado. In B1, I have done my side scroller....or should I say SIGN SCROLLER (I did this game simply for that pun) with Pedestrian! In N4, I switched it out and for minigames, I went with Hell Yeah! The game is about defeating 100 minibosses, basically, and when you kill most of them, you play a little minigame to finish them off. Some are more like QTEs, but some function as more of what I would call a minigame. Spoiler B1 - The Pedestrian - NEW B2 - Hue B3 - Interaction Isn't Explicit B4 - Volume I2 - Pumpkin Jack I3 - Tales of Kenzera: Zau I4 - Thomas Was Alone I5 - Killzone Liberation N1 - Gris N2 - MINIT N3 - Level 22 N4 - Hell Yeah! - NEW N5 - Carrion G2 - Effie G3 - Call of the Sea G4 - Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster G5 - Dead Island 2 O1 - Oceanhorn 2 O2 - Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster O3 - Kao the Kangaroo O4 - Viewfinder O5 - Galaga Legions DX Bingo 1 - B3, I3, N3, G3, O3 Bingo 2 - O1, O2, O3, O4, O5 Bingo 3 - B2, I2, N2, G2, O2 Bingo 4 - B1, I2, N3, G4, O5 Bingo 5 - N1, N2, N3, N4, N5 Bingo 6 - B4, I4, N4, G4, O4

Popular Post ProfSeajay7
Okay, I am going with stacks again for this next update but I am not platinuming much this month due to Kill Your Completion(and I will be gone the first half of next week due to a gaming convention in Salt Lake City so I won't be able to access these forums from 10 AM on the 19th to 4 PM on the 22nd) so I just wanted to put these down. Also, BINGO! B2: Made in a foreign country: Nexomon (Playstation 4) While Canada is a stretch(the creators of this title are VEWO Entertainment, based in British Columbia), I define 'foreign' as 'not in the United States where I live', and Canada is not part of the United States. If I need a further concept, I can find something in Europe and edit this card later. N3: Player's Choice(free space): Nexomon (Playstation 5) Well, I couldn't think of a better game to use for my first BINGO. I spent so many days with this game that it grew on me.
Popular Post Yen-Pop
I could have pretty easily just grabbed myself an easy bingo, but sometimes it's better to play the long game. So Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be used for I4 Banned or Censored, since Disney stepped in and made them tone down some of the violence prior to release. Though it easily could have filled a lot of different slots for me on my card, I went for Banned/Censored because man it's hard to find a modern game that I would actually want to play/is released on PSN that's been banned elsewhere or censored in my region. This time around has been kind of slow going, but it doesn't help that I've decided to play a lot of longer narrative games instead of shorter puzzle games. We're almost half way through, so we'll see how I do! Cult favorite: literally just popular games? I'm guessing completing only the DLC for that challenge should be fine. I think inFamous: First Light could be considered as a standalone DLC, if you don't want to do just a DLC. Cult favorite is a little tricky, I would say it's a game that didn't sell very well, but you still hear people talk about it. Okami, Psychonauts, Grim Fandango, and Dreams would probably work for this, but you could just try googling cult classic games and see what you find.

Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Two more entries down! Box: "That Gives you the Feels" Game: "Kentucky Route Zero" A strange, Lynchian, surrealist narrative game, wherein various odd characters with different stories to tell, end up on a road trip of sorts, trying to deliver a package in the strange twilight world around the "Kentucky Route Zero" - a mysterious, non-newtonian highway that exists, seemingly, outside of normal time and space. It's a cool, weird, dreamlike story, with killer writing, and a super cool story to boot - where everything is weird, but the tone is quite maudlin and low key, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. This one actually hit me quite a bit - there's a lot of power in the story from a "just plod on, and don't let life get you down" kind of theme - it's all based around acceptance of your situation, but muddiling through and finding moments to enjoy mixed into it, so feels pretty apt for this box. Box: "Non Violent" Game: "Open Roads" A short family-melodrama / mystery Lite-Adventure game with a decent story, though a bit on the short side, and a bit lacking in real stakes or tension. There's a strange art style - mixing 2D, animated characters in a 3D rendered background - they both look good, though they don't always mesh together super well... ...and while the mystery is compelling enough, it does a feel a bit truncated and simplistic at times. This one has no combat or anything - it's a pure Walking Sim / Lite-Adventure Game, so fits this one to a tee.
ProfSeajay7
Unfortunately it looks like I won't ever get a Blackout on my card due to the "Release the Year You Joined PSNP", as I was basing it on the year I started putting up accounts for PSNP, which was 2009... and unless I want to buy one of the big PS3 uglies off of Amazon.com as you can't buy them anymore(Hannah Montana or Terminator Salvation, which were the EZPZ back in their day), the only option would be Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, and the last time I played THAT game, the game froze in the middle of a cutscene and was unplayable. (I don't know if it was a physical version I was playing but that traumatized me as the scene froze on Dr. Nefarious's ugly robotic face. ) Best I can go for is a Triple Bingo as I have several slots where I can get a Bingo. If there was a list of cult favorites I could see if that's a feasible spot for me.

The free DLC included also talks about the maturity of accepting when it's time to let someone go and how liberating that is. The gameplay is simple and has some interesting puzzles but what really draws attention is the graphic style very reminiscent of the animations from Studio Ghibli. Beautiful little game. Now, I just need to fill in one tile (precisely the one with the spelling error 😅) and the choice is kinda obvious due to the few options nowadays. Since anything that long ago is going to be extremely difficult otherwise. I joined in 2007, and I know how hard it can be to find something from back then to play. Especially since a lot of those games are pretty expensive now, and I've already played most of the original versions of games from that year. From what I've seen, as long as you can justify it counting for a square, and it's in the spirit of the event, then it's fine. Don't know if full on remakes count, but just glancing through the list you've got plenty of options for ports. Like Bayonetta released that year and it got a PS4 port. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 released that year, and is part of the Ninja Gaiden Master collection. Uncharted 2 was released that year and you can get that in the Uncharted Collection. Arkham Asylum released that year and you can get it in the Arkham Collection. None of those games are on your profile either, so they're all options. I'm sure there's a lot more too.
