Popular Post MAUSZX
BINGO. 3 months and I finally got 1 bingo, probably my fastest bingo I ever made in this events. No platinum trophy.- Potion Party. Is a very basic game similar to Overcooked, not as good, but it still has some charm, I actually enjoyed my time with this, the last trophy was kinda grindy tho. Multiple choices and endings.- Baldur's Gate III. GOTY you guys!!! I haven't played the other Goty contenders, but this game was good in so many aspects and very annoying in others, I understand that this game is a DnD tactical RPG, so is expected to have more RNG than any other RPG out there because of the dice effect of DnD, and that can get extremely frustrating specially when you are in a battle that catch you of guard, it literally burn me out of RPGs, and that said I think this is a super good game. Of course as a DnD Rpg game this game main mechanic and also main attractive aspects is the multiple choices and ending that it has. Play as a bad guy.- Beholder. You are a government worker that is in charge of a building of small residential apartments, you need to spy on them and basically report and profile them to the government which is some kind of Russian movie depiction, so of course you have to stay in line, but you can maybe help the people in some sorts, but in one way or another even if you play as a good guy you have to do some bad things, including spying on them, blackmailing them and stuff like that, good game overall. Indie developer.- I AM DEAD. Richard Hogg is the dev of this game, easy platinum, psplus extra game, for anyone interested, I don't want to spoil anything about the story, but it has some touching moments, the puzzles and stuff like that are fun and is a colorful game. In-game Weather effect.- Mad Max. Long time coming, this game had announced the servers closure on 2020, so of course I had to play the game back in the day to have a safe savefile. "But wait, isn't Mad Max a Single player game only?" Yeah it is, but they added this challenge that you need to do to get a trophy, that requires you to log out, leave and then comeback and you will get some rewards, in the case of this game is scraps, which is the economy in this game, you know similar to some f2p mobile games. This game was the "Dying light and Wolfestein of the year" for so many people, you know, the underrated, the underlooked, the ignored, the hidden goty, the cult following game, the hidden gem. So of course when they announce the closure I started playing the game and I HATED IT, I was annoyed at almost everything and I knew it didn't make sense, the combat is decent, the driving is also decent, what really was pulling me down was the stress of doing all of the challenges and not do something that might make it impossible to get the trophy for the challenges, because the game had a lot of bugs and one mistake might derailed everything, so I left the game for later, came back later, did progress towards the challenges, quit again...up until this year, I googled "games with weather effects" and saw Mad Max and Just Cause 4, so Mad Max it was. At the end this is a good game that had a lot of bugs and that might lowered your experience as a trophy hunter, specially when messing up might mean the platinum might become unobtainable or you might have to download your "safe savefile" and do it all over again. The Weather effect is really RNG storms in the game that will mess you up if you don't hide in a camp or base. (sorry for the rant) Free to play.- The Light in the Darkness. This is not your typical Free to play game, is not full of microtransactions or any of that, is just literally FREE to play, and so I guess this counts right? The game is an educational game, artistic one, and that is why is free I think, is about how Polish jews in france experienced the holocaust, which SPOILERS it was terrible way to live, just unfair. I actually recommend this game, the gameplay and mechanics are nothing crazy, the game is all about the story, and getting your heart broken. Non.Violent.- Doodle God Evolution. Big fan of Doodle God, of course the experience is better on phone, but I think this edition was more console friendly. There is no violence, you just basically have to mix and match things to create new things. Less that 1000 players.- Murderous Muses. I am a big fan of the FMV games, this is another one, is a mix between puzzle game, mystery game and of course FMV stuff. The premise is an Artist/Therapist was killed and the killer was one of his patients, but that was never solved, so you do some mix and match with some words to get some videos of their personality and relationship with the Therapist after matching those you get a video of the Police interrogation with them, and those videos will give you the clue to who did it. Every time you start the game the killer is different, rng stuff which is cool. To this day this game has 101 owners on the ps5 version, sad to see considering the devs have so many FMV gems. Can beat in one sitting.- Unpacking Another psplus extra game, very chill, very zen game, I played with my wife, she loved just moving the stuff, basically the game is about unpacking your stuff when you move to another home, and put it in place, again, this is very chill game, very relaxing.
Popular Post Baker
Game #14: That ‘Everyone’ But You Has Played Assassin’s Creed Mirage I guess this will count as it has over 40.000 game owners. It’s been quite some time since I played an Assassin’s Creed game. The franchise went downhill for me with Origins and Odyssey was an absolute boring snooze fest. I will never play Valhalla. This game goes back to its roots, more focusing on stealth. So I expected a fun game but this is probably the weakest entry I’ve played with these old mechanics. A very mediocre game. Luckily I borrowed it from a friend. I would not pay any money for this. Edit: And I’m looking for some tips for Contains Holiday Themes if anyone knows a fun game for this.. Popular Post Venal
Two new entries: G5 - Frightening/Horror: Days Gone. Could have also been a Racing or Sports game, given how the bike is one of the best features in the game. O1 - HYPE!: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. I don't usually buy "new games" given how lengthy my backlog already is, but I couldn't resist when I saw it on sale.
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Look guys! Another square! Started last year in June, completed on the first of April I am spoiled for choice with the completion of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint... Do I want it For Another PSNP Event as it's also for the "What the Hell is that still doing" backlog event or is it a game I've started, but haven't finished, who knows?! (it's the second one, so it actually looks like I'm aiming for a bingo) So about Breakpoint... the sad part about the game - it's way more fun if you ignore the stealth part of the game and just go into a base guns blazing, which I started doing when collectiong the last blueprints I needed for my platinum trophy. Stealth is fun, but it never felt intuitiv if I'm honest with you - things the game teaches you work most of the time, but then either the AI glitches out, or the map and sometimes you just get impatient and do stupid things... but for real, I had people being able to see through the ceiling into the floor above, I had people walking through walls, that's just not fun if you try to do it stealthy. The story is also kinda weird - it starts slow by having to regroup after being shot down, establishing camp, building connections, then it picks up pace and 5 minutes later it's over. It also feels weird when you kill Walker, but not as the final boss, but somewhere in between, cutscenes still play out like he's there, which is fine most times, a lot of it is pre recorded stuff, but sometimes he shouldnt be mentioned anymore - the enemies also don't react to him dying like they do to other leaders. It's never stated that he is the final boss of the game though, that's why I did him early, with the final mission leading me back into his boss arena, having to kill two generic goons and then finishing the game... bravo, well done. Breakpoint is such a big step down compared to Ghost Recon Wildlands, that game just felt way more fun to play.
Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
March Update (Q1 update) I got one word for you all... B3 - Sea of Stars (Jan) N1 - Omno (Jan) N2 - I am Setsuna (Jan) G3 - Medievil Resurrection (Feb) O4 - Resistance Retribution (Feb) O3 - Rally Cross (Feb) O2 - Kingdom of Paradise (Feb) G1 - Life is Strange: True Colors (Mar) I3 - Elden Ring (Mar) N3 - Syphon Filter (Mar) BINGO! N4 - No Heroes Allowed! (Mar) O5 - Tinykin (Mar) For my March update, Elden Ring was definitely the highlight. It was probably the most fun I've had going for a platinum in a long time. The game really gives you the freedom to play how you want to play and when you want to play. You can overlevel the fuck out of yourself by exploring and killing enemies and optional bosses/dungeons or you can just rush straight to the end. It really is a great experience that allows you to go at your own pace. I played over 100 hours and enjoyed every minute of it. Other than that, I'd like to mention that No Heroes Allowed is an underrated gem. It's like a RTS meets hide and seek where you are doing the hiding and you exploit the AI trying to seek you by setting traps, raising enemies to fight them, and trolling them with endless labyrinths that go to nowhere. You get 3 minutes every round on easy mode to prepare so it's not as time stressful as people think it out to be... Just think of it as you have 3 minutes to hide yourself in your own built-in dungeon. The rest of the games were fantastic too. I also completed Syphon Filter 2, but alas, I don't really have a good square for it. I think you could argue that you can beat it in one sitting, but I think a 10 hour play session is unrealistic so I don't think it should count. When I think one sitting, I think of something EZPZ or an older game that was made to be played in a single sitting like Sonic the Hedgehog, Job Simulator, or Frogger Returns... not Syphon Filter, Ape Escape, or Ape Academy. Something that technically could be finished in a sitting, but something that's not recommended for a healthy lifestyle. I think Coolboarders will be the game I use for that once I get around to finishing that. Anyways, my rankings for said games Elden Ring Sea of Stars No Heroes Allowed Kingdom of Paradise I am Setsuna Medievil Rssurrection Life is Strange: True Colors Syphon Filter Rally Cross Tinykin Resistance Retribution Omno Still haven't played any bad games this year imo. I enjoyed everything I played. Definitely no duds here!

Popular Post Hurricane_Tanya
A long overdue update from me, still no bingo though. B2: With player choices or multiple endings - 11-11: Memories Retold. This could have gone in Gives you the feels or That you meant to play last year, but there are 7 different endings to get. I only have one so far, and it was pretty sad, so I’m hoping for a happier one next time. B3: Underplayed - Submerged: Hidden Depths, it’s not as good as the first game imo, but it only has 700 owners after 2 years of being on the ps store. B4: That you think you’ll dislike - Foamstars. I don’t dislike it, I also don’t really like it. I haven’t played the dlc yet, but I think that’ll be more my style since the best parts of the game, to me, were the squad missions. My main complaint is how slow the movement in the game is. It advertises itself as a frenetic game all about keeping ahead of your opponents and then you get in the game and move so slowly. There’s also the terrible in game stores that need real world money and a big lack of customisation. I1: - Originally released in 2024 - Mystic Pillars. It’s an ok puzzle game that’ll keep you entertained for a few hours. Not much more to say, I’m glad it was included in the plus catalogue. I2: With a Female Protagonist - Sable. Possibly my favourite plus offering so far. It plays a bit buggy, but it’s just a lovely game about exploring a desert world. I5: That ‘Everyone’ but You Has Played - Firewatch. This has over 50000 owners on psnprofiles, and I was constantly hearing about how great it is. It is great, I wasn’t as enamoured with the female character as most people seem to be, but I still really enjoyed my time with this game. N4: That Gives You the Feels - The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories. I saw that this game was heavily recommended when it was leaving the plus catalogue in January, so I decided to try it out, and I’m glad I did. It’s a weird horror side scrolling platforming game, but the story was excellent. The way it was slowly drip fed to you through texts from the protagonist’s friends and parent was really well done, and really added to this sinking feeling of dread you start to get as you go through the levels. It does have a somewhat optimistic ending and I definitely felt for the protagonist. N5: Arcade, Rhythm or Puzzle - Arcade Paradise. Such a good game about turning a laundrette into an arcade, there are so many different machines to play in the game including puzzle games and rhythm games, all arcade games G2: Non-Human Sidekick - Tinykin. I’m not sure what the tinykin are, but they’re certainly not human, and they definitely help you out a lot through the game G5: Developed in a Foreign Country - Coffee Talk. Technically a lot of games I play are developed in a foreign country, but I wanted to go for something different to US or Japan. Coffee Talk was developed in Indonesia, and I found out I have a few more games by these developers while looking this up. O2: Non-Violent - Submerged. I very much enjoyed this game and story. The only other creatures in the game are seen while exploring in your little boat, definitely no violence involved.
Popular Post Flitterbloom
Hello there, I started a little slow this year, I guess, but here's how my Bingo Card look this far. Tacoma (With Mystery) - Someone recommended this game so I thought I'd give it a shot. I had a great few hours navigating and investigating through Tacoma Station, I just wished they'd go "deeper" through some themes but overall, it was nice. Hades (Romance Options) - For the very first time I felt frustrated having a game on a physical support. Definitely gonna replay it again, and again, and again. I still have some fishes to catch after all... any reason is a good reason to go through Hell one more time with Zagreus! I love everything about it, and now I just can't wait for the sequel. Tinykin (Aliens) - I guess this one is kinda debatable, but imho, Tinykins seem alien so hopefully it's ok (if not, I'll put it somewhere else, no worries). I was just looking for some cute game and had a lot of fun controlling Milo and throwing Tinykins 😄 Disney Speedstorm (Racing) - Not really into racing or sports games so had to go for the Disney one to sweeten the pill. Got the 100% trophies but I'm still playing it. Gotta collect them all I guess 🤣 Hundred Days (Non-Violent) - No violence while running a winery! I'm usually not inclined to play this kind of "management game" with a controller but I I thought I may give it a shot. This game has still a lot of issues (bugs in the menues mostly) and I definitely don't like playing games like this with a controller. ReadySet Heroes (Minigames) - RNG troubles, as I usually like it. Got a pal playing this with me, had a lot of fun but not sure I would have enjoy it as much alone. Cuphead (Anthropomorphised Animals + DLC) - I had hope I would be able to have this one for "no humans" but nop, there are some 😅. The part I liked the least in the game were the plane fights. I had so much trouble with those. Overall, the game is really fun and a little challenging, I really enjoyed playing it! Have fun everyone ! Popular Post hyousai
Big Update and TRIPLE BINGO! B1. # in title – Star Wars: Dark Forces Remastered B2. Expanded Universe - Danganronpa (In addition to the mainline series, we got spinoff games, anime, manga, novels, a stage production apparently…oh yeah, this definitely fits the bill. I only completed the story for the first game so far, but apparently I don’t need to finish the plat to fill in the square.) B3. PS Plus - B4. Inner Weeb - B5. Platform Exclusive - I1. Frightening/Horror - Observer: System Redux (Decided to change Ghostwire to Weather systems. Observer is another Bloober team game, which means glitchy stressful horror walking simulator with too many collectibles. Think I'll be avoiding them in the future. I2. Be the Bad Guy – Pumpkin Jack I3. 1st Letter of PSN - Haven I4. Scifi/Fantasy – Final Fantasy V I5. Snacks - The Gardens Between N1. Racing/Sports - N2. Retro Re-release – Final Fantasy III N3. Player Choice – Final Fantasy VI (One of my favorite games of all time, and a perfect choice for platinum #400.) N4. Arcade/Rhythm/Puzzle – Metal: Hellsinger (Really cool FPS/Rhythm game with some real banger tracks. Stygia was definitely my favorite song from the soundtrack. There were a few annoying glitches where the ground textures vanished and I was floating in a void, but other than that I had no issues.) N5. Online Features - G1. Minigames - G2. Mystery – The Sexy Brutale (Dusted off this game from my backlog after almost 6 years. Cool little reverse-whodunit with a lot of charm and a great soundtrack.) G3. Crafting - The Wild at Heart (If lies of P is a Soulslike, then The Wild at Heart is a Pikminlike. You can craft various foods, potions, and doohickeys to aid in your pikmin-ing ways.) G4. Expect to Dislike – Final Fantasy II G5. Indie Dev – O1. Nonviolent – O2. One Sitting – The Artful Escape O3. One Word Title - O4. In-game Weather – Ghostwire: Tokyo (Ghostwire, as mentioned before, fits in a lot of boxes, so I figured I'd move it where it was most needed.) O5. Female Protagonist – Sword of the Vagrant (A love letter to Vanillaware’s titles. 2d side-scrolling, stylized female character designs with prominent…assets, detailed backgrounds, delicious-looking food, you get the idea. Definitely more unpolished than Vanillaware’s work, but a solid effort nonetheless.)

Popular Post Venal
New entry: B5 - Anthropomorphized Animals: Tails of Iron. It could've gone to I1 or G3, but I feel like it's perfect for this tile in particular. I especially loved the clever wordplays around everyday words we use for humans transformed to fit rats and frogs and moles. ProfSeajay7
Well, this isn't an update, it's just a repost of my BINGO card, but I replaced the picture with a new one as the old image was really difficult to read. Unfortunately, I did not save the template from the generator but I had the square descriptions so I just recreated the card using myfreebingocards.com. Here's the new format: I think this was a good idea as I dismayed at the sight of finding that I had accidentally put games in duplicate slots on my old card. I had two N5s! So I'm going to put the list down again just for reference: Column B: B1: That You've Been Meaning to Get To => DIsgaea 5 B4: With An Isometric View => TOEM B5: With A Female Protagonist => Eventide 2 Column I: I1: With In-Game Weather Effects => Dragon Quest Builders 2 I3: Oldest Title in Your Backlog => Cat Quest Column N: N1: Crafting Mechanics => Dragon Quest Builders N2: With Gorgeous Vistas => Final Fantasy VI N4: That You Can Complete in One Sitting => Ape Escape (PS4) N5: With a # or Punctuation in the Name => 36 Fragments of Midnight Column G: I1: Sci-Fi or Fantasy Themes => Final Fantasy IV I3: That "Everyone" But You Have Played => Astro's Playroom I4: Released in your Birth Month => Yuletide Legends: Who Framed Santa Claus (PS5) (released in December) I5: Aliens or Robots => LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (PS4) Column O: O3: With Mystery or Detective Themes => Yuletide Legends: Who Framed Santa Claus (PS4) O4: Spawned an Expansive Universe => Final Fantasy VII O5: Adventure => Adventures of Mana Still not sure how I am gonna tackle N2. I technically joined PSNP on 2009 which was the date of my first trophy on my first account on the site, but I joined as this account much more recently. Also, I'll probably have to make B3 my last slot if I am going to continue to Blackout as I'll be buying a lot of games in the future. Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Could it be? A Merlin ... a new bingo square completed. I was down but not out with illness last week and in that time I've completed Hogwarts Legacy for my gorgeous vistas square. Here's me looking through Hogwarts Valley during the winter (yes I know, it's only the PS4 version, it could look better... still looks really good imo) For some reason the game just flew by, nothing felt like a grind and I don't know why it did not. Must be the medicine Yes, I still have the same issues with it, mostly that the open world stuff needs more quality instead of quantity (looking at you Merlin) and that I wanted the game to feel more like a school year in Hogwarts and less like "oooh btw, there's also a school you can go to". I'm also the greatest dark wizard that ever lived... again, there's no reason not to take the three curses from Sebastian, because there's no consequences for whatever you do, even tho the game implies it a few times, don't be out after curfew, bla bla bla bla. It's just so much easier to get the remaining troll kills when you can one shot blast them. The next square gonna take a while now though, if I don't add quicker once here and there, I've started RDR2 again.
Popular Post Platinum_Vice
2024 has so far been a year where I've just been grateful that I'm in an event that only needs me to complete the main story. Here's my first update: A Short Hike has a funny little time-sensitive trophy that ensures that the playable character gets toast! This game has snacks. I really enjoyed this game. It was my favourite experience out of the seven so far. The Stanley Parable was released in my birth month. It felt like I was playing a mod for Portal 2. It wasn't until I finished the story and began trophy hunting that I realised that the game directly takes the piss out of trophy hunting for the entirety of its list. Unlike how the game itself is enjoyable in how it takes the piss out of playing games, that concept backfired when I tried to collect the trophies. I wasn't offended or anything silly like that but the enjoyment just completely fell off for me once the style/sense of humour changed. Finishing a game that I had started before was going to be a tough one so I started Crash Team Rumble in late December. It's not really in the spirit of the event but there's no other games on my profile that have an incomplete story. Prey's Mooncrash DLC was a significant departure from the main game's tone and its styles of gameplay and storytelling. It feels like the devs wanted to create a Roguelike and used Prey's DLC as a opportunity to explore that possibility with minimal risk. It had a lot of ingredients that I like but somehow the meal didn't taste quite right for me. A key factor in that was how much I adore the base game in the first place. A game with crafting mechanics... well, LEGO: Builder's Journey is a game consisting of crafting! The controls are horrid. The storytelling wasn't as meaningful as I had expected when I was sold on the game. I'm still being burnt by these LEGO games when I know deep down that there just isn't a virtual replacement for the fun of building physical LEGO pieces in real life. Interaction Isn't Explicit was a game that I expected to dislike. I expected clunkier controls, far more bugs, and a far more enigmatic/arthouse story. It was far smoother and less buggy than expected. It wasn't a walking simulator with an actress reading a meandering script for four hours. It was a 40 minute thesis that was direct and clear in its delivery of how the developer perceives some gameplay mechanics. The game allows the players to experience those mechanics in gameplay. Bastion has an isometric view. I really liked the combat. The artstyle was fantastic. Bring on more from Supergiant Games - this was my first experience from their catalogue and I'm ready for round two.
Popular Post Baker
Game #15: With an Isometric View Trinity Trigger A fun JRPG. I just beat the story so now it’s onto post game for trophy cleanup. Not much else to say about it. Might be a while until my next entry. As the games I’m planning to play don’t really fit the remaining tiles. Plus I want to tackle some incomplete games which can’t count anyway. Popular Post zaxonzaxon
Spring is here, and the card is s l o w l y blooming. Two more to add: Underplayed (<1000 players): Farm Knight Adventures -- I picked this up for a few bucks hoping it might be a hidden gem. I like farming, I like knights, and I love adventures, but... the game sucks. It's a shovelware-ish "We have Stardew Valley at home" that went right into the plop box. The only consolation is that since I'm the 11th registered owner I can use it for one of my harder squares. With Gorgeous Vistas: Riders Republic -- This is basically the sequel to Steep, the action sports game I used for another box earlier this year. It can fit a number of boxes, but this one is perfect as the game world is literally one gigantic gorgeous vista for you to race around and stunt off of. Photo evidence for good measure: Archive: Spoiler B3: Contains Holiday Themes -- Yakuza Kiwami (Christmas Trees and Christmas Music) I3: DLC Pack or Standalone DLC -- Steep Xtreme Pack N1: Award Winning -- Rollerdrome (2023 BAFTA for Best British Game) N5: Retro Re-release -- Quake II (25th Anniversary remaster) G1: Banned/Censored -- Wolfenstein 3D (Banned in Germany due to Nazi imagery) O1: That "Everyone" But You Has Played -- Final Fantasy 7 Remake O4: Frightening/Horror -- The Forest (Creepy cannibals and dark, dark caves.)
Popular Post ExHaseo
Been a while, but I finally have another update. I was way too into FFXIV and ended up having to let my sub lapse so I could get to some other games lol. I did get a lot done in the game though. I'm almost into the top 100k in the world for total achievements, and I was finally able to get the trophy for doing 2000 dungeons/trials. Just need the trophies for 5000 crafted collectables, 8000 gathered collectables, and then 3000 FATEs. I'm about 40% of the way through both of the collectable trophies now, and I'm at a bit over 2000 FATEs done now. So maybe sometime in the next year I'll finally have the PS5 plat lol. N1 - Sci-Fi or Fantasy Themes - Hi Fi Rush - The game is set in a futuristic city with robots and you have a robotic limb fueled by music, so definitely Sci-Fi. This was a lot of fun. It was really fast paced and high intensity. But that's also kind of it's downfall. I generally couldn't play the game for more than 1 or 2 levels before I just got weirdly tired. Being maximum intensity at all times made every play session super fun, but without any real lower intensity sections to kind of take a break it was really draining. Still, a great game. Definitely worth checking out, especially now that it's on PS5. G1 -Non-human Sidekick - Dreamlight Valley - This is a farming/animal crossing style game, and in it you can choose to have one of the disney characters youve unlocked follow you around and help you out. Most of them aren't human, so I thought this fit well. I wasn't expecting too much from the game, but it ended up being pretty fun. It's a great blend of the real time mechanics of Animal Crossing and the in-game day-to-day progression style of Harvest Moon games. Since some stuff is linked to real time, but it refreshes every few minutes rather than every day. Except for the main shop and hazards. Your villagers also generally don't sleep and the shop doesn't have specific hours either. So you can play as much as you want. There isn't really an end to the game, so I considered it beaten after unlocking all of the biomes and all of the building upgrades. Which took about 20 hours. So I thought that was fair. They're continually adding to it, so I may go back and try it again in a year or so once there's more stuff added. I played both of these with game pass on PC, so if they need to be verified you can check my Xbox account, which is also ExHaseo. A friend of mine gave me 6 months of free game pass, so I'm going to be playing basically everything on there for a while. Just started working on Persona 3 Reload again, so that may be next. Unless I get distracted by something else.

If I had known I just had to complete the story of a game, this makes the card much easier. I, personally, usually only square off if I have the plat or 100% (unless we are at the end of the year and I desperately need some squares 😂) Congrats @Biscoito18 for our first 3 liners here On 3/30/2024 at 12:39 PM, neutreality said: Is it fine to use games already completed in 2024 or should i start from now onwards? Like the original game was released the year you joined but you want the use the re-release? I think if it is the same game, not a remake or anything, but just a PS3/PS4 list -> PS5 list that is fine. If you really have nothing else for that square I will accept it, but try not to. Ok, I went through the thread and everyone should be updated. Let me know if I missed anyone.

Popular Post ExHaseo
I got distracted by something else. O3 - Last Game You Acquired - Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge - This was the last game I acquired lol. Vanilla NG3 definitely deserves it's bad rep, but I really liked Razor's Edge. It was just a fun action game that was legitimately difficult. I feel like it really just suffers from what I like to call the Resident Evil 6 effect. RE6 on it's own is a fun 3rd person shooter, but it's definitely not a survival horror game. So if you go in expected survival horror, like other RE games, you're going to be very disappointed. Same thing with NG3:RE. It's a lot more focused on action and intensity than the previous games. So as a stand alone action game, it's super fun. The combat system is great, and if you like difficult games, there's a lot of challenge here beyond just memorizing attack patterns. But it doesn't feel like the other two games. So if you go in expecting more of the same, you're going to be disappointed. I originally was going to put this one as the Coop square, but they apparently took coop out of the Master Collection release. Which was kind of a bummer. I was hoping to go online and get carried lol. N2 - Independent Developer - Vampire Survivors - I originally tried this in early access because a friend of mine bought it for me. It was so early on that it had just gotten the library added and only had maybe 5 characters. I thought it was kind of fun, but pretty much forgot about it after a couple days. Shortly after it exploded in popularity. I had wanted to go back and try it again, but just never got around to it. I saw it on game pass and decided to finally sit down and play it now that it's a full game. And wow they added a lot. It's still the same base game though. They did make it a lot easier with the addition of the map, guides, and arcana. It was still fun playing through the new levels and seeing the bonus levels and new characters and everything. But much like my first experience with it, it got pretty old after a couple of days. Once you find a broken combo, you just do that and win everything forever. Still, I hope it comes to PS one day. It's a fun old school arcade style game that I think everyone could enjoy to an extent. Since MS is letting some of their exclusives come over to PS, it wouldn't surprise me if it does come over some time in the next year. Was hoping to try out Diablo IV for my coop square, but it just wouldn't download for some reason. It wouldn't even give an error code or anything. Stuff like this is why I hate PC gaming. Sometimes stuff just doesn't work for no apparent reason. But I'm also extremely broke right now and this is a way to play all the games that have been sitting on my wishlist for free lol. Still slowly working on Persona 3 Reload. I'll beat it eventually. Probably. Next up I'm probably going to play Battletoads for the one word title square, and also because I legitimately loved Battletoads as a kid. I've wanted to try out this new version for a while now.
