Just a quick update. Managed to pick up the Jack the Ripper DLC for AC Syndicate, and I LOVED it. It was so cool getting to experience the AC take of that legend. :) Anyway, my updated list is below, though I can't decide whether or not to start on Heavy Rain or Far Cry 3 first.

9 down. 1 to go(for the minimum, at least). For a Common, I'm surprised I didn't get that last trophy.. Tried doing it in a spot shown in a video, and it didn't work. I think this was because I was playing on Insane, at the time, though. Hopefully, it doesn't become an issue when I try to Plat it in August. :l

 

Down to the 3 left unfinished. I'm the worst at going back to games. I never seem to have a shortage of new things to play, is probably why. Must. Find. Motivation.

Nice work. I haven't played Heavy Rain, but Far Cry 3 was pretty entertaining.

I might be changing up a few of those games, mainly the Tales games, as I find myself too paralyzed to even start Tales of Symphonia Chronicles. I've been more focused on my Vita and Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention and completing all of the parallel worlds there. I already have what I think is a perfect Galaxy Mage. Anyways, I might switch out Tales for Disgaea games. As you may know, I tried to do a Disgaea-theme event and abandoned it because nobody was interested, so I might put in a couple of Disgaea games since they take a while to complete.

 

Anyways, no more slacking off for me! I plan on knocking out some trophies this weekend, starting with getting all of the Medals in Moonflower Palace in Dark Cloud 2 - I can battle the final boss of the current chapter at any time but need to wait until I clear all the medal challenges there as you can't go back there in the final chapter.

 

EDIT: Also plan to find or create a new signature banner.

Found that motivation. For Time and Eternity, at least. I blame Satoshi and that other guy(can't remember your name, sorry) for talking about it in a status update. :P That's as close as I can get it, without popping the Plat. Both trophies should come with the secret ending, which I have everything ready for at 6 hours and 58 minutes of play. Short game when you're skipping everything you can. Thought it'd take longer. By comparison, my 1st playthrough was just shy of 30 hours, at this point in the game.

 

what is so special about August 20th??

I imagine the day is random, but it's a community thing. "Let's pop all these Platinums together in a single day." If that doesn't appeal to you, then by all means, pop them whenever you want. I think it's a neat concept, though.

I still have Dragon's Dogma and Final Fantasy X to finish up as well so hopefully everything goes well after my tiny break with the WrestleMania weekend.

I have sold the Tales of Symphonia Chronicles (again) so I have to take Tales of Symphonia and its sequel off of the list. In their place I have placed Disgaea D2 and Disgaea 5 as chances are I won't be getting the platinum in either of those games for a few months anyways and I have some trophies on those games. On the bright side, I started Crack in Time on this account and gotten some more medals in Dark Cloud 2. I plan on starting some of the other games as well.

Someone I know planned to do a plat rain day on August 20 after the previous round. I liked the date, because there was more than enough time between January 1 and August 20 to give people the opportunity to plat games without getting burned out and prepare for the next PRD. Besides that, it's near the end of the summer vacation, so there will hardly be any people that can't pop the plats due to being away (like during New Year).

I just found out that i can't even do it on that day lmao. I have a race on that day, so don't even know when i will get back and if i have enough time. I'll see what i can do about that.

Don't let it get you down, Dragon. It's just one person, I am sure everyone else has enough free time to get those platinums. If I fail this event, it will only be user error - I am a serious procrastinator. At least I did not put Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention on the list - completing those Command Attacks are impossible for me! :(

Dragon, please correct the #9 spot - I accidentally copied the number of max trophies from the entry below it so it was incorrect. I earned a few trophies in D2 so that deserves an update.

 

I plan on working on the Disgaea games for now, but I will squeeze in Kingdom Hearts and try to get the other games started in the coming months.
