Popular Post Wavergray Posted February 14, 2016 Popular Post Share Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) So Persona 4 Golden has been called things like "the best jrpg in the last 10 years", "the best game on the vita", and "the only reason to own a vita", however even with all that hype and praise P4G sits on your trophy list unfinished or worse somewhere in your ever growing backlog. With Persona 5 on horizon now is the time to finish Persona 4 Golden and see if all that praise and hype are worth it. Goal: In this event our only goal is to platinum Persona 4 Golden before Persona 5 is released on April 4, 2017. Rules: There are no rules besides have fun. Play the game however you want. If you want to play the game on very easy or very hard go ahead, if you only want to use a party of Yu, Chie and Yukiko you can do so. Whatever you feel you need to do to finish the game, go ahead and do it. Who can Join? Anyone who wants to. It doesn't matter if you haven't started Persona 4 Golden yet or if you are one trophy away from the plat, you can join if you want. Pace: There is no pace to this event, if you need a month to finish one dungeon that's fine and if you finish a full playthrough in 3 days that's fine too. Guides: Persona 4 Golden takes at least 2 full playthroughs to platinum so If you want to use a guide they will be conveniently available for you here. (Yeah, I forgot to beat one of the optional bosses on my second playthrough , but I suppose that's not such a bad thing now...) As an additional challenge, I'm planning to finish all of the Persona games before 5 drops. For anyone interested in playing the older Persona games, I think it's nice to point out that all of the mainline titles can be played on Vita although the older ones are very rough around the edges. That being said did I just hear that the NA and EU versions of the game have separate trophy lists. EDIT: Here's a banner I made for the event which looks nicer than what we have, no offense to the creator of that banner. The chibi characters came from a DeviantArt work by WhipsmartMcCoy. She deserves that spot in the trio of green. Jim Qwilleran wrote a thousand words on the color green in one of the Cat Who books. I can give you what I read if you are interested. Nope. You can only get 47 trophies. IzaOkami and Margaret require beaten true ending before they can be unlocked. Izanami-Okami can... okay, you meant fusing IZANAGI-OKAMI, not fighting Izanami-Okami. I was confused for a sec. Anywho, now that I've platinumed Sly 1 and Sly 2 on the copy of the Sly Collection for Vita(no Sly 3 as that's not on the cart, it's a digital download, or so I was told), I can send that cart back to Gamestop and get back to P4G ASAP. I'll start my NG+ playthrough soon, though I can't guarantee that I'll plat this before P5...
