Blind Playthrough?

I've played all the Souls games since Demons Souls and this will official be my 1st completely blind playtrough. I'm really exited for it! All that I've seen so far is the trailers and the character customization screen. I'm curious if others will do the same. Are you guys going in blind like me or have you already spoiled some of the game for yourselves? lol

 

Also, I can't wait to see the funny messages.

I have played all Souls games blind . In my Opinion the best way to enjoy Souls games!

I mean, i streamed it and some ppl in chat tried to Spoiler some parts , but it was still fun

i've seen one boss as funhaus went to an event with dark souls 3 in it but the a lot of the gameplay was cut so not many spoilers!

 

but yeah i'll definitely be playing this one blind

Blind is best, man. My friend and I (Who I've done every souls game with, including Bloodborne) are getting it day 1 and running through it blind.

 

It's going to be one hell of a ride. I've avoided as MUCH as I can about it.

1st PT, at least, should always be blind. Being lost, confused, and feeling the psychological oppression from all sides is part of the series appeal. 

 

So yeah, I'll be playing blind.

I've played all the Souls games with as little knowledge about them as possible beforehand. Only if I get completely stumped as where to go I'll look online but this time I want to avoid that at all costs and instead pay better attention to item descriptions, NPC dialogue etc. I may even make notes so I don't always have to rely on my memory. 

 

I know a little about the game and I've seen the trophy list but I plan to make my first playthrough a completely blind run with the sole intention of simply finishing the game. I'll then start a fresh save with a different class and go for the platinum then.

Same here, I will play blind, the secret trophy will remain secret until I have finished the game (but for error I have read one >_<, oh well...)

I've also played all the souls games . I have beated every one of them atleast twice except bloodborne. I will playing it mostly blind , maybe if i'm stuck on the boss for a really long time i look up some guides or whatever, but that's it .

Go as blind as you can. You won't be dissapointed.

 

If you have played the other games, have some tissue paper close.

Absolutely best way to play ANY game is as much of a blind, walkthrough-guide-free as you can.

Plus you're officially a pimp, not a loser like those who use guides lol

I've never had any trouble platting the games while reserving my first playthrough as a blind (or LL, etc.). Obviously, I use guides for later playthroughs to see how my strategies stacked up, and to see what I've missed, but I would heartily recommend blind the first time through.
