Day 4 Progress: Platinumed Master Reboot PS3 today. Good game, but beating the record time on the last level was a pain in the ass to get. Tomorrow, I'll start Apotheon and platinum it by Thursday afternoon.

Finally got to the midway point in the game, defeated obligatory Cheapo Nightmare #3, and got the dragon so now I can fly anywhere and use Zooer, Travel to teleport to all the towns, so now I never have to use the ship ever again(except to recruit the sea Imajinn that I am missing for the Familiarologist trophy). Also started in the Casino and Solosseum, making to survive the Rank E rank battles and got two lucky 7s in a row on the Slot Machine (after failing miserably at Blackjack which I thought I could ace, the dang dealer blackjacked THRICE X( ) and got enough chips to get an Agility Badge which went onto Oliver since it increased movement speed. Not like I need to walk much now that I have a GBFD(Great Big F$#&ING DRAGON)!!!

 

I plan on getting through the story as much as possible and farming for the 1000 fights and 2000 glims trophies. Now that I have both Jackpot merit awards I never have to worry about not getting enough glims although they had become useless now that the monsters are doing a lot more damage than the glims can heal. I can't wait to get the full power of (spoilers) and open up all those purple chests so I can 100% every area.

 

BTW: If anyone is trying to finish this game for the platinum, I highly suggest you check out this Let's Play on Youtube. The uncut version is hilarious, but it's slighty salty so kids might not be able to watch it.

 

Halfway through June & I'm halfway to my initial goal of 1/3 of the trophies for all five games. If there's a rotten apple, it's the Kingdom Hearts game - even though Birth by Sleep is the easiest to complete on the hardest difficulty, the fact that you have to get 100% on all three characters' journals, which includes fighting the super bosses with them all, and the fact that Terra is STUPID WEAK(due to his lousy dodge) makes the fact that Terra's journal has to be top priority so I can get it over with.

I recommend you work on capturing familiars as soon as you enter new areas and not wait until the end, otherwise you'll be hating life.

 

If he's spending several dozens of hours on farming ingredients for alchemie, he could farm familiars too

 

But i too recommend to tame a monster as soon as it is possible... because it can take a while like fighting a monster 10x before you may tame it

I've been sick and with my grandfather dying this past week I haven't had much opportunity to work on the backlog. I've been only on Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter whenever I play and I'm more than likely going to finish Oxenfree and Lego Marvel's Avengers before I jump into FFVII or Tearaway Unfolded.

 

So yeah just stuck on that one trophy gain so far. But when I do stop I'll be destroying some of my shorter games.

I started Chapter 3 on Thieves In Time as well as went back to the other chapters to get the bottles. I also took a huge chunk out of the Diva Point grind in Project Diva F. I still need points for half of Kaito's modules and all of Meiko's modules, as well as all room themes and furniture. That's 925,500 DP I still need; seeing how I got 745k today, that shouldn't take much longer than how long I played today, maybe even shorter since halfway through today's grind I finally started using Sneaky Target to boost my DP gain. Either way, I should have Module Collector tomorrow and the other grindy trophies soon after, because I have the next few days off work. The song videos are playing overnight, so I should get Film Buff tonight. After that and the DP grind trophies, I should only have Art Collection and Concert Tour left, which shouldn't take too long.

(Don't know why I got a double-quote, sorry about that. Also, I was going to post this last night but I got sick so I didn't feel like posting.)

 

The trophy hunting for NNK is freakishly slow - I only got two more trophies, Humanitarian of the Year(I am OCD when it comes to getting errands done - you need to do them all for the Super Hero trophy) which I got from doing Derwin's third errand in Yule(I got the Sasquatch and Ice Queen just fine from the Glittering Grotto, but the third creature was a pain in the neck to find, much less befriend - I didn't trade for the Jack of Hearts merit yet) and the story trophy for fixing the Mornstar(having to fight TWO Nightmares almost back-to-back was a pain in the @$$, especially since I almost wiped against QK's Nightmare due to its only attacks being the cinema attacks that inflict blindness AND freaking POISON ) - I'm going to be lacking in trophies until I defeat Shadar and the next trinity of story bosses since half of the trophies are unlocked after you fight something I can't spoil here. The ones I can get require a lot of grinding, but everyone's over Level 49 so getting the rest of Esther and Swaine's special attacks won't take too long, I might get them today. I could easily get Familiarogolist... if it wasn't for the fact that I am seriously lacking in drops and will probably have to craft the jumbo drops. Still, this is a great game.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is now 1/3 to completion and I can move on to Okage and Birth by Sleep. I am feeling ill right now so I may not game right away. I also have a book I need to check back in to the library, so that's important too.

Finished game number 2 (lego Movie) was quite fun for the first bit but got to be a real chore at the end, i'm dipping in and out of Ben 10 racing when i get a chance. Will start on the order in the next couple of days.

Finally got around to working a bit on Okage even though the encounter rate is insane - finally beat the next Evil King and am in the Sealed Cave dungeon. Since you can't switch characters with the Save Book, I am stuck with Kisling for the dungeon. However, I read that the Evil King after this is not too hard. (Sorry if I am vague but I don't want to give spoilers. Go check out my PS2 Classic Thread on this game if you want to know who I am referring to.)

 

Fell short of my June goal but hopefully the next boss battle will give me the remaining three percent. Anyways, I need to get started on Birth By Sleep since getting the trophies I need to hit 1/3 of the completion will take a long time.

Right now I need to get to 34% trophy completion on Birth By Sleep(the 2.5 Remix version) so I am planning on doing all three 100% completion stories at once and jumping between the three saves and then finishing them in order to unlock the Final and Secret Episodes to finish Aqua's journal. After that, I'll overwrite the games with my Critical mode runs to get the Critical Competitor trophy to finish up.

You're doing pretty good, but I bet you'll be stuck for weeks getting that wretched 8-Bit Bentley trophy.

 

I'm working through the save files on Birth By Sleep, just finished the first worlds and will advance to Radiant Garden on all three stories eventually once I get enough abilities.
