Maybe it is just me lol but I wouldn't even realise!!

I usually wouldn't either but I guess in this case it's a huge reflective surface and the only thing that's not being reflected is you. This should feel pretty weird, even though I did not experience this in a game yet.

But yeah in most cases I wouldn't realize those things either. But then again, I guess the only games that are graphically polished enough to notice would probably be current generation games but I can't play those anyway.

It wouldn't have been a problem with me if the first Mirror's Edge from years ago hadn't done it quite well back then they had made a point about it because that's the way they wanted you to see the character. It's the whole reason the thing is called the City Of Glass... te screw this up in the sequel is a big case of "they just didn't care".

Anyway games have been able to do player character in reflection for over a decade now, there's no excuse for screwing this up.

I didn't say the game was ruined for me, I still find it enjoyable. I just said that there's a bunch of stuff in the game that EA messed up for which they can't have any valid reason.

Enjoy TLOU! I thought the gameplay was a bit bland but the story made more than up for it.

Well, time for a quick update..

 

I continue to play Rainbow Moon, finished the story and am now doing random postgame stuff.. almost lvl100. I also got back to KH:CoM and finish grinding Riku to lvl99, so now I only need to play the game on Normal and Proud with Sora and Riku for the platinum.. and I also got a partner for Resogun on PS3, since he's actually quite good, we managed to clear Veteran (and I also got the trophy for normal), we are still trying to get 1CC, and then we still need to unlock Master difficulty for a trophy.. and I need the 15x multiplyer (this thing makes me believe that I will never plat it.. I'm really terrible at this game)..

Yes, I bought the No Man's Sky faceplate, and it's awesome. I still don't get why it's only about half the price of a regular colored faceplate, but fine by me.

I'm done with the Project DIVA f 2nd, only need to give everyone their cakes and the plat is mine. Wasn't that hard, I've got enough requests for Cuckoo Clock simply while playing, with no grind nessessary. Guess they've liked me. As for the tracklist... well, the song charts certainly got "busier", but I haven't noticed much of a difficulty spike, 2D Dream Fever was easier for me to complete than NegaPosi*Continue, for example. While I've picked a few favorites (Thousand Year Solo, Demons and the Dead, Break It, Break It, Meteor), the tracklist for f was better, in my opinion. And still not enough Kaito songs, dammit.

With the 2000th trophy on the horizon, I've decided to stop trophy hunting for a while. Wouldn't want to mess up the upcoming milestone, after all, and the kills grind in SO4 will take a lot of time yet, so... time to bring my nearly infinite older gen backlog into this. 

Namely, I've decided to finally resume my Tales of "marathon" (because I'll totally end up taking a break between games... last time I've tried to marathon JRPGs was my Final Fantasy attempt, and the burnout that hit me after IX was brutal, definitely going to rest between the entries this time), so, Tales of Phantasia enters the fray.

I was also thinking about picking something for PS2 to play, but... *sigh* ...gotta grind those kills...

Time for the weekly update.. feeling lazy..

 

Anyway, I got the platinum on Rainbow Moon, and played a bit of Modnations Racers Road Trip, beating the first 16 dev times, tokkens, challenges and winning the 4th tour, but I'm still far from unlocking the bonus tour (I have about -90s and need -200s, so I will need to improve a lot of my final race times..). I think that's all for the last few days..

Got all Hidden Treasures and Treasure Chests. And got the platinum.. 81 hours and 30 minutes played according to in-game clock (so about 80 hours removing some idle time, didn’t took as long as I was expecting to platinum, and the grind didn’t felt all that bad, only 10 or so hours of grinding for the alchemy trophy and then another 6 or so hours of grinding to get the 250 familiars).

Hi guys,

 

i'm happy to say that i completed my first walktrough of Crysis 3 ... Veteran is done, now follow SuperSoldier

Man it was hard to stay away from GTA5O for a few hours

But in that game i have made some progress too... i completed 4 of 5 heists... and mostly all trophies too

 

And i'm almost finished with P. All-Stars now. Only 1 online trophy remaining... i hope to get that on the weekend cuz there are hardly any enemies these days online...

Edit: i've obtained the last trophy (killing 3 enemies with one super strike) ...  new

I'm going to try and have another go at Uncharted 4, but I hate to say, I'm just really not enjoying it. I may just tick the difficulty down from Crushing to Normal so I can be done with it already...

Little update..

 

I end up finishing Modnations Racers Road Trip much faster then expected.. it was actually quite easy to do almost everything (only 3-4 challenges and 2 lap times took me several attempts), giving me one of my rarest plats while also one of the easiest ones, if I ignore the stupid online boost required to it, and the fact that I was lucky that the Vita that my brother bought also came with the game for the Ad-Hoc trophy..

 

After that I went back to Blazblue Continuum Shift Extended, and did 1 more challenge (total 96 now), but lost interest after spending 5 minutes on another challenge, that I know that I can do.. then I went back to Mortal Kombat 9.. I think that maybe this time I will finally get the plat.. so far I have 15 masters of the 28 needed (got 2 yesterday and 1 today.. really boring, even when I'm doing other stuff at the same time..).

 

I will also edit my previous post, so that Super-Fly will have the correct stuff to update, since I really never expected to get the platinum on Modnations so fast..

Yeah these planets are really huge, and you've got no map system so good luck figuring out if you've found all of them.

 

There should be something at the center but I don't know what it is, I stayed away from spoilers. Doing the journey myself at the moment, about 146K light years away now... Once I'm done with that I'll evaluate my feelings about the game. It's graphically really less than the demos they showed years ago (flora is less densely packed and I never found such a brachiosaurus), but it still feels awesome to set foot on a new planet. If I still love playing the game after getting to the center, I'll explore one system a day. If not, I'll just wait for some new content. I do know that I won't get rid of this disc, it feels too special.

 

I'd advise you to first do the Atlas quest, by the way, since that keeps you at the edge of the universe. But be sure to upgrade your exosuit and/or ship before you do so because you're going to need the slots... Personally I've kept my starter ship (pre-order) which only has 16 slots but looks really cool. The exosuit maxes out at 48 slots.

I'm done with the Project DIVA f 2nd, only need to give everyone their cakes and the plat is mine. Wasn't that hard, I've got enough requests for Cuckoo Clock simply while playing, with no grind nessessary. Guess they've liked me. As for the tracklist... well, the song charts certainly got "busier", but I haven't noticed much of a difficulty spike, 2D Dream Fever was easier for me to complete than NegaPosi*Continue, for example. While I've picked a few favorites (Thousand Year Solo, Demons and the Dead, Break It, Break It, Meteor), the tracklist for f was better, in my opinion. And still not enough Kaito songs, dammit.

 

I agree, I'm playing through it now before Project Diva X comes out and it took me until the past couple weeks for me to really start enjoying the soundtrack (I started listening to it at work, since then I've been doing alot better at most of the songs). As for the cakes, I finished those off awhile ago but I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I logged in and had the Player's Birthday event trigger on my actual birthday, even though I knew it happened for all of the other Vocaloids

 

As for my update, My work term will finish this friday and I'm heading back home Saturday morning on the bus, I promise I'll start updating my list again like I used to next week, I still haven't bought any new games yet but my first reserved purchase/pre-order (Project Diva X) will be out at the end of the month

At least I know for Project Diva X that I can just wait until my birthday and get that cake, in the first Diva f I ended up buying each cake because it was my first time playing anything Hatsune Miku-related (the game actually was the reason I started getting into some of the music, as I listened to the soundtrack before I actually bought the game). I've got a note on my computer now with all of their birthdays so I won't miss them this time around.

Played through Spider-Man last night, the first movie game, sweet game. Far from perfect, but about as good as that kind of Spidey game could be. Keen to replay Spidey 2 sometime soon as well. Almost tempted to give the PC Spider-Man 2 another go for the first time in yeeeears, just to remember how shit it is, but like, it's times like these I'm glad I don't have a PC.

 

Speaking of PC games Quake 3, my go to PC game, is back in my hands (literally) as I got my Xperia Play working the other day and it's SO. MUCH. FUN. God damn, I forgot how good this phone is to use, it's an absolute joy and I ended up ordering another one off eBay for the nice price of 116 brand new (my one's screen is shot, and the network doesn't work anymore, hence upgrading several years back) and I'll be using that as my main phone for a while. Sure, the Nexus 5 I already have literally beats the shit out of the XP in mere specs, but, the XP can play Vice City, Tony Hawk 2/3, Crazy Taxi, Amazing Spider-Man, Modern Combat 4, GTA 3, and so on, perfectly... with a built in controller man. It's beautiful and I love it v much.

I've played only No Man's Sky up to now, but after yesterday I feel like I'm done with it, at least for a while. Done 60 or even 70 hours which is so damn much more than I usually play a single game, especially in such a short time span. I feel like I want to experience some other stuff now though, I'll probably continue on Catalyst today.
