How many controllers did you perform a fatality for?

Playing Uncharted 3 for hundreds of hours broke the L3 pushdown function (you use it to run).  I was able to buy replacement sticks online for like $3 and re-solder it.

Unless you count accidentally dropping it, then no I have never purposely destroyed a controller, I treat them like jewels lol

I have broken 1 controller Since I have had my PS3.

While playing COD: World at War "burn'em out" mission, after getting to the very end of the level that I had been on for days or maybe weeks. I get to the mortar pit and the end dialogue starts saying good job and everything and all of a sudden, a phantom grenade explodes as the screen is going to black. It starts me back at the last checkpoint which is where I had been stuck before instead of ending the level.

That controller had no chance.

Back in the days of PS1 I broke a lot of controllers. In the PS2 era I broke none. In the PS3 era I've broken two (first on Monday, second yesterday). Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed has made me rage. I'm much calmer now.

Haven't destroyed a controller; however, had a controller where the right analog stopped working.  Tried to fix it, but it didn't work out

I was playing quake live about 2 yrs ago and it made me rage very hard. I took my mouse and crushed it under the leg of my chair. That was the only time I became destructive. As for console controllers, I've never damaged any.

2...I think. 1 was unintentional, I just casually tossed it on my couch and it bounced off into the wall then hit the floor twice, it was my fav controller too

Other one was intentional, RE is good and all but  glitchers, hackers, laggers and the works just grinded my gears that day......not to mention they non-stop messaged me

To this day I've never broken a controller.

Though I do tend to trade up whenever I feel a little less comfortable with how they handle (or in the case of the PS3, when there's a newer color or style, and I'm tired of what I have).

In actuality, I'd probably have saved thousands if I'd stuck with the original packaged controller(s), considering it's always only me playing.

Haven't broken a controller, but the L2 has worn out and it's a bit loose on my second controller (I have friends).

None of them really I was buying and selling - at a time I had full pack of se7en controllers but now I only got 3, sold to buddies. Very very rarely I tend to bash the controller with my fist just abit but that's all there is.
