This is unlikely due to the Sony policy regarding avatars, you must have noticed that no new avatar has been added to the PS Store for quite a long time now, I think it's been almost a full year. Themes are still being added/sold in the store just fine, but avatars are now essentially only given through DLC bundles or via the pre-order of a game/special editions. If Sony exclusives like God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, TLOU2 or this game (for now) cannot release avatars on the PS Store, imagine non-exclusives. Besides, one of the bundles is tied to getting the platinum trophy, so I would guess that bundle would not be sold if the policy was lifted and they could add them to the PS Store. I wonder if the emails are sent in waves. If some of you are still receiving the emails without having to contact Sony, please let us know. ? I had to contact them for the Horizon one, I think Spider-Man I did get the email for. I also got the free God of War set for getting the platinum. This one has yet to arrive, and after just getting off chat they seem to be giving me the run around, or weren't understanding what I was asking for. They asked me 4 trophy dates, including the platinum, only three of them were Persona 5 trophies lol. I never played that game. The fourth was for the platinum. Finally they got the point that I don't have the first three. But then said that they have to forward it to a specialist, who isn't there right now. Said it would take 2 - 3 days. Ugh. I understand the whole COVID thing making short staffing a reality, but previously it was a quick easy fix. EDIT: Just recieved 3 emails, each one with a code that redeemed for 6, 9, and another 6 avatars for a total of 18 avatars. Nice! On the other hand, I checked all boxes more than a year ago and still 0 emails. I suspect is because hotmail accounts, I’ll try to swap onto a gmail one. The staff member didn’t know about this reward, so I sent her the Twitter link, she said she would let the team review this case. I also told her that some PSN users received the codes during the Live Chat; however, she told me that some staff members had it but they already left. I began receiving emails from Sony after changing to gmail (previously it was hotmail) so i'd recommend to make the change. On another note one of the mods over r/FFVIIRemake asked me if there was another proof of these avatars being legit (asking if they were fan made). I suppose the mods over there don't even own a PS4 as you cannot fake official avatars and typing my username would show them my current avatar. I think i'm gonna play this on an alternate account with communications turned on lol, depending on the codes pics will determine if I just beat Chapter 18 or get the plat again. When I try to contact the support on the US website it always put me with a bot who just give me links to support pages, and in Europe there isn't any Live Chat anywhere and we just have FAQ pages. For example, FF15 never had any PSN avatars, same goes for FF13-2, FFX HD and so on. You could try again and see if you get a different response. By the way, if you dig psnp a bit you will find some users in Europe with the avatars (this was how I knew the avatars existed in the first place, lol), so you know at least some countries in EU are eligible.
