I could dump all these types of lists into one single series with no stages, but people probably wouldn't like the name I would give the series, so that's off the table too lol

S-tier Abominations.

The 'S' can stand for 'shitty', 'shovelware', 'shite'... just let the audience interpret it. ?

Is it possible to create a game series called PS1 Classics that contains all of the new PS1 games with trophy support? Due to the lack of tags, it's actually pretty difficult to identify the games that were recently added, and I can only imagine it will get worse as more are added.

Only issue is when the games are part of an already-made series, such as Ape Escape, as no game can be placed in multiple series.

Alrighty since Sony is continuing this now I've went ahead and revived the PS2 Classics series that existed a couple years ago and I've also made the PS1 Classics series. Note that these are only the emulated PS1 & PS2 titles released on the PlayStation store with added trophy support and not remasters or other versions. Hopefully Sly will make a console tag one day though where I can transition this into that, but for now these will do:

https://psnprofiles.com/series/1015-ps2-classics

Also a list can be placed in multiple series, there's no limitation, but generally has been a rule to not make things too messy/confusing

Thank you. I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate this.

Music Racer: Ultimate
AS region: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/16502-music-racer-ultimate

JP region: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/16503-music-racer-ultimate

Also, please note that the naming style for "Music Racer: Ultimate" is inconsistent between trophy lists.
In some cases the colon symbol ':' is omitted, in other cases not.
https://psnprofiles.com/search/games?q=music+racer+ultimate
If possible please conform all titles to the same format, preferably with the colon symbol included as that is the official styling as seen in PS Store.

Hi, seeing as games can be added to multiple series now, is it possible for Aliens Vs. Predator (PS3) [https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/248-aliens-vs-predator] to be added into the Aliens series?

https://psnprofiles.com/series/836-aliens

It was previously only put into the 'Predator' series because that series doesn't have as many titles in it as the Aliens series. However, given that it is a crossover between the two franchises, I believe it has equal reason to be put into the 'Aliens' series as it does in the 'Predator' series. Perhaps it could be kept in both? Thanks!

Gonna be making a fat request here. I was already planning on asking for something like this, but now that I see the PS1 and 2 Classics series are a thing I'm hoping the precedent can be carried to more things that make sense.

For now I won't be doing multiple series for a game at the moment, me doing the PS1 & PS2 classics was mainly a temporary stop-gap for not having PS1 & PS2 console tags on the site. Otherwise a trophy list is meant to just be put into a single series with related sequels and spin-offs with the same or similar names.

I don't disagree about the Aliens vs Predator also fitting into the Aliens series, but maybe I'll revisit that at a later time

This series is a mess. It's named after the mega drive/genesis but half of these are not even genesis games, with some being arcade games (with genesis ports) and Alex Kidd is even a Master System game. On top of that they're just kind of in a random order (maybe the PS3 release dates?). I'm thinking it should be revamped to a general "SEGA Classics" series encompassing anything from when they were in the console business, including enhanced ports like Sonic CD or Daytona USA, in order of the original release dates, whether that be arcade or a console.

...

Another thing I wanted to bring up is disputing this new Sega All-Stars series: https://psnprofiles.com/series/981-sega-all-stars

This isn't even a real series of video games, the crossover thing started with Sega Superstars on PS2, followed by Sega Superstars Tennis and these racing games. To top it off, both of these games literally have "Sonic" in the title so I don't think they should've been removed from the Sonic series: https://psnprofiles.com/series/119-sonic/

A compromise I think would work is to rename the Sega All-Stars series to something like "Sonic Racing", and include https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/9128-team-sonic-racing/ in it, as these are all part of a spin-off series of racing games developed by Sumo Digital. Also, if we're going to be more lax on games being in multiple series, then they should also all be in the Sonic series in the No Stage where they were before. If not, then Team Sonic Racing should be moved with the other racing games and call it a day.

I'm pretty passionate about Sega, so I appreciate whoever on the team looks at this. Thanks.

I went ahead and renamed the SEGA All-Stars series to Sonic Racing and moved Sonic Racing to that series.

Over the years various people have brought up the The Sega Mega Drive Ultimate collection and I agree it doesn't make much sense and like you say has a lot of issues, so I just removed that one completely

Thanks for at least fixing the Sonic Racing thing, that one was actually bothering me. Shame about the Classics but I'll complete em all anyway.

Will someone ever acknowledge that every single one of the 108 ACA NeoGeo titles is mislabeled or is it a "we fucked up but there's now way I'm gonna fix 108 entries"?

Someone has made the nonsensical decision to actively change the official title "ACA NeoGeo" to "Arcade Archives".
