Popular Post YaManSmevz
Update #9 11/21/22 Whew, almost didn't make it today! Resident Evil 3 is pretty bad ass, though I have the same complaints as everybody else: It's too short, we needed the clock tower, and why the hell did you ditch the decision making system Even in spite of all that, I'm having a great time with it. I maaay change my tune once I get to the Inferno difficulty, but we'll see? So yeah, just two games left, and damn near completion at that - on one I have to face my fears and soldier on through a terrible situation... and the other is RE 3. *Cue laugh track here As always, thanks for reading and thanks for posting! In the home stretch y'all, we got this? 1. The Hong Kong Massacre ️ 2. Bastion ️ 3. Katamari Damacy Reroll (91%) 4. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist ️ 5. Resident Evil ️ 6. Resident Evil 3 (26-->75%) 7. The Godfather II 8. WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010

I completed Casino, dodged the bad ending bullet, and am now at the penultimate Palace, the Cruise Ship, which is probably the most convoluted palace in the game. We're playing literal cat and mouse here(no seriously, some rooms turn you into mice ) and now that I'm in my birthday month(December, the last month in the vanilla game), I'm pretty much ready to just get this cursed game off of my PS5 and focus on my super-speedy run for the PS4 version, cutting out all unnecessary stuff from Optinoob's guide. (PM me if you to help me make a super speedrun guide for this game for the sight which isn't 100% everything like the walkthrough on this site is. ) I also knocked all of the miscellaneous trophies except for the companion trophy which is only available in third semester(which I have unlocked since Counciller Confidant is at max rank) and the LeBlanc cleaning trophy, which I am saving as my last so I can get a screenshot for my portolio since the game blocks screenshoting when you enter third semester. The plan: Spend as little time as possible on Pokemon(I will still have to give some time for Dragon Quest XI and FFXII for my KYC list) and spend 90% of my day on this game so I can knock out the story and get the remaining story trophies, complete third semester, then load up that backup save to get the last trophy. (For the evolving Persona trophy, I know I'll get it automatically because Morgana will evolve his Persona during the story since he lives with Joker.) Taruta13
Almost done, surprised nobody's updated yet. I just have to sit through the ten minute ending and ten minutes credits and then get the final trophy from my backup save...

So i am finally done. I typed this while watching the EXTREMELY LONG ending cutscene in Persona 5 Royal which you cannot skip and the very long credits sequence. Anyways, that's the last game ticked off my list. I must say the PS5 version was okay, considering it was a complete port of the PS4 edition with only some minor graphical updates and all the DLC built into the game. But other than that, it's just the same thing as the PS4 version, which will be my first focus on December for the Winter Backlog. But that's it. That is my FINAL game in the list. I don't intend to do much as Thanksgiving is coming up in two days and I want to focus on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet... and this account refuses to play really bad cash grabby indies like The Pidgeon P or Road Bustle, so any game I play next will take a while. Add in I have to do two more games for the Kill Your Completion event and that leaves very little time for any more platinums. (Also, I intend to make Persona 5 Royal's PS4 version, the one I got my Royal plats on in previous accounts, as my 65th platinum as the PS5 version is my 64th. ) Therefore, my list is finished. It was a bit ambitious with 13 unlucky games, but since I accidentally listed three stacks and that's not allowed, I was up the creek without a paddle. *shrug* So that's it for me. This was a very good event and it made me tackle games I wouldn't have touched otherwise. I'll just be chilling out for the rest of the month and getting ready for the next backlog challenge, which I put the PS4 version of P5R on, and I intend to do a platinum trophy speedrun of that version as I am getting sick of using Optinoob's guide and the trophies don't really require 100% of the confidants to get the platinum. If anyone wants to give me advice on how to do a speedrun of the platinum trophy for Persona 5 Royal(yes, I will be researching Persona 5 Royal speedruns on official sites but these are all any% and don't deal with platinum trophies), PM me as I have eight days to plan out my route. See you in a week for the Winter Backlog Challenge! Edited November 29, 2022 by Taruta13

Popular Post Heather342
Update 12 Final update from me for the Fall backlog challenge ?. Having this week off work certainly helped me get through my remaining games. Last weekend I spent a lot of time going through the final clean up in God of War Ragnarok ready for the final 2 optional bosses. I played most of the game on 'Give Me Grace' difficulty, not the easiest setting but below the balanced setting, and even then I found some of these bosses pretty challenging. Took a few tries to figure out the move sets but eventually I did beat them both and got the plat on Monday. I was going to try and 100% clear the map, but I had one of the Nornir chest puzzles bug out on me which made it impossible. Thankfully it didn't lock me out of a trophy. Overall this was an outstanding game, I loved every moment ?. After GoW was done I was straight back into Detroit Become Human. My first playthrough I was doing blind, but trying to make good decisions to keep everyone alive for the Survivors trophy. Unfortunately I made an error in the Crossroads chapter and got Kara and Alice killed ?. Luckily that chapter is pretty close to the end of the game. I finished up my first playthrough, then reloaded the checkpoint where I messed up, second time around I managed to get it ?. Once that was done, I started a new run going for the violent options, while also getting Connor's "I'll be back" trophy and the magazines found in the violent playthrough chapters. After that, it was a few more chapter select reloads for magazines I'd missed and a few other decision based trophies I didn't get on previous playthroughs. I managed to wrap this one up pretty quickly and had everything finished by Wednesday. Overall I enjoyed this game, a bit of a slow start but once it got going I liked it more. Connor's story with Hank is my favourite one, although I felt bad during the violent playthrough making Connor into a mean android ? That's my fall list all completed ?. Thanks again to @MidnightDragon for hosting. I'm not officially taking part in the winter challenge as I have some older games with high completion percentages that I need to finish, but I will be unofficially lurking and cheering people on. Hopefully I will see you guys there! Good luck to everyone still finishing their Fall lists ? Trophy progress: God of War Ragnarok - 65 -> 100% Detroit Become Human - 20 -> 100% Completed games: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Doki Doki Literature Club Persona 5 Strikers
Popular Post StilRh
Hey guys. Hope it's been a good week. This week I got the God of War: Ragnorok platinum. Such an amazing game. I loved the characters and the plot, some big twists and turns in the later stages of the game. Combat was fun though at parts I felt there were too many repetitive fights and I wouldn't have minded a little more enemy variety. I felt the collectables were spot on - fun and achievable to hunt them down without a guide. After 20 hours I changed the difficulty to give me grace and I used some of the accesibility options to give me audio cues when looking at in interactable or subtitles to indicate a raven was nearby. The platinum took 41 hours overall. Since then I've had post game blues and took a little break from my list, playing roguelikes and some automation games. Not sure what I'll play this week - I may focus on a short listed game or just mess around. Popular Post Static_Rook
Final Update - 11/27/2022 Criminal Girls 5% 11/27/2022 I finally did it. Got the platinum in Criminal Girls. It's not hyperbole when I say that that game almost made me quit video games for good. Annoying gameplay, dumb harem story, gross minigames. Just absolute drek. I stopped updating because I didn't want to complain about it too much, but now it's over and I deleted the tedious, gross thing from my Vita. Luckily, there was an easy way to beat the final area and bosses posted on PS Trophies years ago or I would still be grinding levels for that final fight. Always fun when a boss can hit 26 times in one turn. I could probably squeeze in Lone Survivor or Metrico from my list by Wednesday, but I'm just going to take a break instead. Not sure if I'll join the Winter Challenge yet, I'll give it until Tuesday and then decide. Take care! The games to tame the girls were pretty perverted. ? This is why I decided not to play that game ever again.

I have the platinum just don't want to do the last DLC) 9) The Quarry - 8% 10) Tales of Arise - 7% 11) Final Fantasy VII Remake - 28% 12) The Forgotten City - 13) Kaichu Kaiju Dating Sim - 14) Hoa - My last update for the event as I don't see myself playing anything from this list before Wednesday/Thursday. I unexpectedly got the platinum for Pac-man which was nice indeed. Also decided I am done with Immortals as I can't be bothered with that last DLC. It's just not what I want from that game and if I hadn't already spent soooo much time on it, maybe I would enjoy it more but the new camera angle and having to grind out materials does not work for me. I probably should've just swapped the game but oh well. Winter Challenge is almost upon us and I am excited for my new list (which I have submitted but will be revising as I only want to start with 5 games). Popular Post reaperveteran86
Last Update - Left Alive 5% - Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight 36% - Ys Origin 79% -> Evoland 70% -> 100% - Kill la Kill IF 100% -Shantae and the Seven Sirens 12% -> 100% - Siren 100% - Wild Arms 100% - The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters 100% -Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy 14% - Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection 100% Swap used: 1 of 3 I finished Evoland (which is a collection of Evoland 1 and 2). Both were fun games. The first one was a travel through all things RPG/Action Adventure from the 8 Bit beginningsto the 32 Bit era. The second game keeps the ground work done by the first one and tries to throw as much different genres in the mix as possible. Some of them drag on for a bit too long (strategy, cards) and some make a few scenes feel a bit strange (how to end a scene about one of your party members discovers the shocking truth about his entire race, why not with a Bemani style rhythm segment against a headbanging old wizzard). Seven out of ten games finished is not bad in my opinion but I could have done more, if Ys Origin didn`t glitched out on me (the time I have put in that game alone). I think I put Left Alive on the winter list with my first update there and play the other two outside of a challenge when I find the time. See you all in the winter challege.

Popular Post Xenoblast91
[UPDATE 3 - THE LAST] Well, November was the craziest month of the year; I highly doubt December can surpass this one. Sorry for not posting so often in the challenge, since I was kind of busy with real life stuff and, of course, playing this off, LOL. Made as much progress as I could, and the games I picked were insanely fun and were a refresh from what I was pursuing all year long. Much stuff happened too, and other games were yearning to completion too, so independently of this, I rocket it highly as I was believing couldn't do it. Got incredibly motivated though but many bumpers along the way. However, I did it! Here are the results, and despite this looks small, my profile says otherwise . Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ~ 100% Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse ~ 100% UNO ~ 100% Castlevania Anniversary Collection ~ 100% GT Sport ~ 55% [No change] Sonic Adventure ~ 20% Following the train hype for COD: MWII, I choose to finish the OG trilogy with MW3. And oh man, what a blast! One of the funniest games I've played in a while. I'm amazed how immersive are games from ~10 years ago, as I hardly find the same experience nowadays titles. This FPS, with its monumental quantity of content, and all crafted with high quality [considering the PS3 standards] left me satisfied; enough action and the experience of playing it on its co-op mode was thrilling, exhilarating and on the edge of the couch from beginning to end. Wonderful game, a masterpiece that any lover of FPS should try. It's a must. And here we go with a bunch of kamehameha's, flying strikes and countless overpowered characters filled with infinite ki and Super Saiyans all over the place! DB Xenoverse is a weird RPG-fighting styled game filled with tons of variations and hours of grinding for any who attempts the Platinum. I liked the game, as I'm a deep, huge fan of the series since childhood. It's part of who I'm literally. This series taught me the meaning of fighting until the end, no matter how hard the circumstances or the problem you have to endure to succeed. So, despite much consideration, this game has the honor to become my #50 Platinum overall! I think that is a proper place for this fonding game, despite its dense leaning towards the RNG nature it has towards the trophies; anyway, I enjoyed all the way around. DB will always be in my heart Castlevania has been my most recent discovery on gaming. I've been played the other face of the coin: Metroid. But never thought about its complement, its yang, its half-orange. Finishing the Collection was a wonderful experience, especially Bloodlines and III. You notice the effort done back in the day to make games that stuck in your memory, even if it is your first time tasting them; timeless, sophisticated and in-depth detailed games like this is what matters when you look for a good experience. I wrote about my experience so far in the previous entry, but I just can add that this motivated me to complete the series on PSN, as this is a loved franchise and now understand why so much hype about it... Finally, Sonic Adventure has been indeed, an adventure. I just finish Sonic sequence of the game, and to be honest, it has disappointed me a bit. I understand what a game from 1999 should be! But this, I'm amazed for the technology back in the day was able to bring into the experience and the huge jump from 2D gaming. I remember that time around, but this game makes me realize it deeply, as the skill needed into developing this game back then should have been an insurmountable task, no doubt. But is kind of sad that the port to the PS3 doesn't make justice to the game. Firstly, the camera is hugely annoying, followed by controls that sometimes don't match what you're intended to perform. So far, the game is good and my experience into it has been pale from what I expected. Anyway, I really hope to master this game and finish one of the game that land marked a generation. So, this is it. November is over, finally! And with it, winter has arrived (almost). The most comfy season of the year is now here, and it's time to finish the year with a gold seal. I really wish you the best of luck to all those who are going to the Winter challenge, and congratulations to all who managed to complete this with all your backlog reduced! My best regards to all, have the most magical time around and enjoying this time. Continue playing to all your heart's content and have a beautiful year's end. Again and as always, have a happy and cheerful hunting!
Popular Post YaManSmevz
Update #10 11/30/22 Unfortunately I gotta throw in the towel this time around... I had a few days in which I could try to squeak in Katamari Damacy Reroll, but.. I just didn't want to. And it's funny because the last time I didn't complete all my games I was so bummed out and disappointed in myself, this time I'm just like "eh whaddayagonnado." Wrapped up Resident Evil 3 though, and for all its flaws as a remake I just don't have it in me to call it a bad game outright. It's still got its scary moments, it looks amazing, and if this is all the Resi 3 on this gen that I'm getting, I'll take it. And that's that on that! Had a great time with y'all like always, congrats to those who completed the challenge and I hope to be on your side of the finish line next time.
