Nah, no need for the disc version if u already have the digital.

just as (barra333) says, when u reach lvl 29 just make a backup save and after that DON'T participate in any race or event, just keep collect some collectables until u hit lvl 30 and that should pop up the trophy.

Thanks I’ll give it ago with the digital copy from PS Plus but I’ll retain onto the disc just in case.

My trophy is bugged as well, please make a bug report to increase attention for this issue - so it will get fixed asap.

I’ve raised a ticket as you suggested, they were very responsive and said the problem was being looked at.

If other folks could do the same it may help to add weight to the issue.

I just submitted a ticket as well, and like you said they were very responsive.

I raised a ticket too a few days ago. They said the same thing. It’s being looked into. Doesn’t mean it will get fixed any time soon but I will keep my fingers crossed.

It’s the last trophy I need and I’m still debating with myself as to whether I should start from scratch or not.

I have a feeling I’ll be doing that once I’ve done all the other trophies. Unless of course it gets fixed.

I would say just go for it. From what I could see on other forums, some people had already raised this issue in May/June (when the game first came out). Maybe now because there will be a lot more tickets they'll actually do something about it, but I'm not so sure. Also it isn't too bad, just finished the Platinum trophy myself and it took me about 6 hours on a fresh save to get to level 30.

PS: Can confirm RICKI's method (on Sept 23rd) also works on the PS4 digital version (PS+ game).

I've logged a ticket as well.

What annoys me is that the game clearly is still being supported with DLC. There is a current Yearly pass with Seasons going on, so the game is being supported with new content. They can work on new season pass content for people to pay for, but can't fix issues in the game?

Guys you will be delighted to know that I have found a fix for the (Digital version on PS5).

The bad news is that you will have to delete your entire progress and start from scratch. In order to do so, firstly unlink your 2k account, go to settings on your console then head over to storage, console storage and go to Games and Apps. Delete Lego 2K Drive. Now go back onto saved data, ps5 games and delete Lego 2K Drive. Ok now you can uninstall in the game and re-install it.

Once re-installed, you will be starting from scratch (Level 1). Do not link your 2k account. You will need to work your way up to level 30. Once you get to level 29 and get close to levelling up to level 30, (ONLY AIM FOR COLLECTABLES TO HIT LEVEL 30, Whether it's Rainbows, batteries or whatever.

From level 1 to level 30, it took me about 8 hours of gaming non stop. I went through all the races and played all to Grade A. Then I did a lot of the On-the go's and once I was close to level 30, just collected collectables in Big Butte County and boom the trophy finally unlocked.

I also can confirm that this approach is (still) working.

The trophy did not pop on regular way.

After getting all trophies except the Level 30 trophy I reset everything as described above, then only played races until Level 29, then I repeated some races that I won before (to gain less XP to approach Level 30 as close as possible, but be careful because you also get some extra XP during the races, e.g. for destroying other cars).

Then I used On-the-Go's to reach Level 30 - it worked.

Level 30 is the only trophy you have to do again when using the platinum save from 1 stack.

Talked to math guy as well, but just to clarify you unlink 2k, delete save/game data, reinstall and start fresh. You don't need to be offline the whole time correct?

Finally got this trophy!

I didn’t do exactly what Ricki suggested, as you don’t need to delete the game and reinstall.

Firstly I uploaded my save to the cloud as I’d done all the other trophies.

Then I disconnected from the internet (because my 2k account wouldn’t let me unlink), I switched it off in Settings > Network > Settings > Connect to the Internet.

Next I deleted my local game save and played all the races at A, B and C level until I was most of the way into level 29, then I collected about 10 gold bricks and the trophy popped once I reached level 30.

Big relief.

Exactly what I did, took me about 7 hours or so.

Can confirm that even if your trophy didnt pop, you can delete the updates and drive around and the trophy will pop. I was playing the game from PS Plus but bought the physical copy to see if it would fix it if I did.

If you value time over money, buy the disc and delete the updates.
