Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
Big thanks to Floriss for the awesome banner! Check out his work here! Might as well start this checklist off with a little introduction on my part. I have been gaming since late 2007, where I got the XBOX 360 I currently have now. While my first game on my 360 was Spider-Man 3: The Game, I also frequently played on my father's PS3, where my first game on that was Virtua Fighter 5. I first started trophy hunting in 2011, where my first two platinums were Skate 2 and LittleBigPlanet. I stopped for a while, then I've been trophy hunting since the start of 2014. Well, enough of this introduction, time to get on with the main attraction. At the bottom of this is my very short list of guides. Feel free to leave a comment, as I love to read them. Now, on to the cave! 1-25 #1: God of War III King of the Hill Unlock all trophies - WWW.SPARTANSSTANDTALL.COM Enjoyment: 9.8/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 1/6/14 | Percent: 100% | Rare (18.26%) On New Years, along with my new PS3, I bought this and NBA 2K14. I knew a lot of good about God of War, and I expected it to be awesome. I wasn't disappointed. It was a great game, from beginning to end. The boss fights had the intense feeling to it, like when you fought Poseidon and Hercules, and for a game that came out in 2010, the graphics was absolutely stunning. The platinum was pretty easy, as I joy rided through it......until I started Hard difficulty, where things got incredibly harder. But after some decent progression, things got better. Than the final boss was absolutely painful on Hard. I was so relieved when the platinum popped in the credits. #2: Assassin's Creed II (PS3) Master Assassin Unlock all trophies. Enjoyment: 9.8 | Difficulty: 3/10 | Date: 1/14/14 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (27.95%) I had played Assassin's Creed II on the XBOX 360 before I played on PS3. I already knew what to do and how to do it, but even though it was my second time through, the enjoyment of playing stayed. I had alot of fun with it, from its superb gameplay to its incredible and well-thought out story, and its innovation from the original Assassin's Creed. The trophies were pretty easy. I had tackled most of the trophies before hit later sequences, but then when I reached Sequence 9 and 10, I started finishing up the trophies. This step was easy, but it was boring, because it contained solving glyphs, finding the treasures located in shrines, and worst of all, collecting the feathers. There is a large amount of feathers to collect, and im pretty sure I would've fallen asleep at least once doing it, but most of the time my older brother had been doing my hair so no sleeping. But in the end, the trophy for completing the game was the last trophy I earned. #3: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PS3) Julius Caesar Win every trophy. Enjoyment: 9.3/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 1/24/14 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (4.78%) Had played Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood a bit on 360, up until about Sequence 4. The game was awesome, felt like I was back at Florence again! (This is a good or bad thing, depending on how you look at it) Multiplayer was also a good new feature, and unlike singleplayer games that don't need multiplayer, this multiplayer worked out just fine. It is a lot of fun! There fact that there wasn't much innovation to be found brought my enjoyment down a few decimals, but it isn't too big of an issue for me. :DThe journey to the platinum was enjoyable up until the only thing I had left to collect was the Borgia flags, but it was less boring than the feathers in II. Multiplayer had some difficult trophies that took me a bit of time to grasp a strategy, butin my boosting team helped me through the process and in the end, we all got the platinum. If it hadn't been for them, there would be a possibility that I would still be playing matches for that Extreme Variery bonus. Da Vinci Disappearance The DLC missions themselves were pretty fun, and made for a pretty good excuse for me to go back into the world of Rome and have fun messing around with it. Though me from two years ago didn't really care much for 100% synch sadly, so I had to go back and redo almost all of the missions. Minus a couple of missions, it was not fun. #4: Batman: Arkham Asylum Platinum Trophy Platinum Trophy Enjoyment: 9.8/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | Date: 1/25/14 | Percent: 100% | Rare (10.71%) Batman: Arkham City may have won me over as my favorite Batman game, but as Asylum was the game that started it all, I think it is the best superhero game ever. It had fantastic gameplay and graphics, and everything was built to absolute perfection! On 360, I have clocked over quite a bit of hours over a dozen of playthroughs getting 100% completion (I love the game that much), so I had already known what to do to get the platinum. Usually it'd be difficult, but the challenge maps were too easy, since I did them so many times already. I may have even gotten a fastest time if I hadn't gone to sleep halfway through. The journey to platinum was enjoyable to beginning to end. I took my time as I read interview tapes of the Arkham prisoners', from Victor Zsasz, to Harley Quinn's, to Scarecrow, and I ready everybody's biography as I unlocked them, reading through their backstory. The riddles weren't at all boring or tedious to get and because of my experience with the game, I breezed through the punishing challenge maps. #5: Assassin's Creed: Revelations (PS3) The Conqueror Get Every Trophy Enjoyment: 8.5/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | Date: 2/4/14 | Percent: 100% | Rare (10.51%) Assassin's Creed: Revelations was the game that ended Ezio's Journey. The game was a step back then AC Brotherhood but I still had a lot of fun playing this game. I loved the fact that a new feature was the hook blade, capable to travel building to building via zip lines, and multiplayer was fun. It was boring at times due to the lack of interesting modes, but fun. And the trophy list wasn't difficult. I did hate the fact that my platinum unlocked 10 minutes after it was supposed to.Multiplayer Map Pack & Multiplayer Character Pack The multiplayer trophies (the characters and maps) had me play the MP a little bit more, had to boost them though. The Lost Archive The Lost Archive DLC added more first-person platforming segments to the game, which is something I had liked in the original game. The story behind Subject 16 was interesting, and the DLC as a whole was good fun. I had thought the no death trophies were going to suck at first, but they didn't really. Only took me a couple of tries on each. #6: Madden NFL 11 Madden NFL 11 Master Congratulations on earning every Madden NFL 11 trophy! Enjoyment: 6/10 | Difficulty: 6/10 | Date: 2/21/14 | Percent: 100% | Very Rare (5.18%) The only reason I platinumed this game was because my older brother accidentally started it on my account, as the PlayStation 3 is automatically on my account when starting up, and I didn't want it sitting there at 0%, so I decided to platinum it. The trophy list has various trophies that were easy to get. Only hard trophy was No Offense, due to me not being in the right place at the right time to make interceptions. There were a few Madden Moments that tested my patience, but overall the game is a bit average; not easy or hard. Just especially harder for me since I suck at Madden. >_< #7: Beyond: Two Souls (PS3) BEYOND: TWO SOULS™ MASTER Collected all trophies! Enjoyment: 9.1/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | Date: 3/1/14 | Percent: 100% | Rare (10.88%) Beyond: Two Souls was made by the people who made my all-time favorite game in the world, Heavy Rain. This game was great and I don't understand the negative/mixed reviews it received. The trophies aren't difficult at all. They just take time to get, like seeing all endings and saving every possible character that could be saved. #8: LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (PS3) Complete Hero Collected all of the Trophies Enjoyment: 9.1/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | Date: 3/14/14 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (25.74%) Funny thing. I received this game from a friend by beating them in a game of dodgeball. But anyways, LEGO Batman 2 is a great game with funny scenes and I enjoyed soaring through Arkham with Green Lantern. It had funny dialogue and good story, with a trophy list that isn't difficult at all and just requires you to hunt down Collectibles on your map instead of having to search every nook & cranny. #9: Batman: Arkham City Platinum Congratulations! Enjoyment: 10/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 3/31/14 | Percent: 100% | Very Rare (5.43%) Batman: Arkham City is my 2nd favorite game after Heavy Rain, though my favorite in the trilogy, with an awesome ending and great gameplay. It was truly a masterpiece for me. The game also has 400 Collectibles which like Asylum, still teaches you about the Batman world, and the challenge maps were hard but were still a bit easy. But overall, this is a great game and a must play. Catwoman, Robin, and Nightwing DLC The DLC characters were fun to play as. Except Catwoman. Her challenge maps were a serious pain to complete, especially Top of the World - Extreme. On that challenge, I retried so many times. I even sat and watched guard movements on a gargoyle for about an hour, waiting for the right time to attack a guard to get my 3rd bonus when I had finally done it. This DLC is honestly one of my proudest accomplishments as a trophy hunter. Harley PDLC I also did Harley Quinn's Revenge, which was a nice add-on. Not particularly long but it did offer some more chances to play as Robin. #10: Batman: Arkham Origins Platinum Congratulations! Enjoyment: 8.5/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 4/13/14 | Percent: 82% | Ultra Rare (2.31%) Batman: Arkham Origins was pretty good. It had a great story that showcased a younger Batman that was more ruthless, less trusting, and more independent. Though it had a great story, everything else was copy & pasted from Arkham City, except it came with more glitches. IATN mode was a bit maddening and I made a lot of friends boosting for the MP trophies. Also, the single-player trophies are no problem if you've played City. #11 - Remember Me Remember you soon Unlock all trophies Enjoyment: 8.3/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 5/10/14 | Percent: 100% | Rare (11.21%) Remember Me was a good game if not great. I loved the fact that I could've customized my combos to either give me health when I need it, or make a Skinner less difficult with Power Pressens. It has a great story and a strong lead character named Nillin. The trophy list was solid, with beating it at its highest difficulty (Memory Hunter was a bit hard for me), and it's assortment of Collectibles. #12: Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 [NA] Ultimate Player Perfect Collection Enjoyment: 8.1/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 5/31/14 | Percent: 100% | Very Rare (5.03%) PES 2014 is a pretty fun game. I like the gameplay and being able to customize a player then play as them in Become A Legend. I used Lionel Messi and became a ball-hog stealing the ball from my teammates so I can have them. But yeah, I had fun playing this game. The trophies, however, aren't difficult, they are just time-consuming, like the fact that you have to simulate 4 years (a bunch of hours) just to play in the 2018 World Cup. #13: Puppeteer Best Actor Unlock all trophies. Enjoyment: 9.6/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | Date: 6/4/14 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (4.81%) Puppeteer is by far the best game I've played in 2014 and is definitely a favorite of mine. Puppeteer has it's memorable moments, great and unique gameplay, funny story, and the funny comments in dialogue that are in any ordinary puppet show. It's trophy list has unique story-related trophies, while it will be most known for it's large number of Collectibles. Only problem is that you can track one type of collectible but not the other, which resulted into me missing one by mistake. #14: Skate 2 Platinum Trophy Platinum Trophy Enjoyment: 9.6/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 6/6/14 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (3.99%) Skate 2 is the first ever platinum across all my accounts and now I've gotten the platinum twice. Skate 2 is a fun game. It has a good gameplay with a ton of tricks to perform and a lot of places to do them. Online is good also, just wished some tricks weren't similar to each other. The trophy list has you doing a lot of stuff offline which aren't difficult except maybe HOM and them you're going to be in for a grind online. #15: Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS3) Mask and Stripes Forever Collect every bronze, silver, and gold trophy. Enjoyment: 8.8/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | Date: 6/15/14 | Percent: 100% | Rare (16.10%) This is the first Sly game that I've played, but I was pretty sure I was just going to be a lousy thief picking the pockets of others, resulting in a boring experience. That was my impression before I started the game. Afterwards, my impression has totally changed. I had fun from beginning to end, with its great minigames, funny cutscenes, great design, and superb story, I was never tired playing this game; Its a must play. The trophy list wasn't hard at all. Just a few Collectibles. Only thing that is considered hard is getting the high score in the arcades. But this game is awesome, and if Sly 5 ever comes out, I'll be getting it. #16: Dead Space 3 Brave New World Obtain all trophies. Enjoyment: 8.4/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 7/17/14 | Percent: 84% | Very Rare (5.41%) I loved this game. I didn't mind if it was less horror and more action, as action-adventure is a favorite of mine. (With that said, this is better as a horror game) The story was good, nothing special, but the gameplay is what drew me in. Crafting weapons and then testing them were great, like me crafting a Submarine Gun with a electric attachment. And using a gun with the acid attachment was awesome. But Devil Horns was just awesome-er. PEW! BANG! I loved (I'm starting to say that too much now) seeing my partner run away whenever a Necromorph came out of nowhere, and I liked exploring Carver's past. Then something not much people mentioned were the audio logs. I liked them including learning the story behind the feeders in Chapter 9 and how Dead Space 3 was made out of it. I didn't like that I had to do 3 additional and harder playthroughs, as Classic was a pain. But as soon as I beat Classic, it was smooth sailing from there. Dead Space 3 had its few cons, but behind it all is a lovable game. #17: Time and Eternity Eternal Timekeeper You obtained every single trophy. Good job! Thanks for playing! Enjoyment: 7.6/10 | Difficulty: 6/10 | Date: 8/3/14 | Percent: 100% | Rare (10.15%) This was my 1st RPG platinum of hpefully many , I quite liked it. It had a good story and sometimes I was wondering what was going to happen next. I loved the characters and Drake's lines had me laughing, and the character designs were perfect. However, the gameplay is the worst part of the game. I was meeting with the same people for side-quests in numerous different places, except the color of their hair and clothes were different. Another thing they recycled were the enemies. The ghosts looked the same (Grim Reaper, Death's Eyes, Trick-or-Treat), except the colors were different. And then the battle system. I liked making strategies to defeat the different bosses but later on in the game, it got more boring. The bosses had some cheap moves (or maybe that is just my inexperience), and the endings were ok. My difficulty rating comes from the stand point of somebody who has never played a RPG before, so it is probably easier then I'm making it out to be. But overall, I liked it. Now to other RPGs. #18: The Walking Dead (PS3) The Walking Dead Earn all trophies in: "The Walking Dead" Enjoyment: 9.7/10 | Difficulty: 1/10 | Date: 8/30/14 | Percent: 100% | Common (52.02%) After so many months from playing the free first episode, I finally got this. And I do not regret it at all. I loved this game and enjoyed it every step of the way. Its story is fantastic as the choices you make controls and influences the story (somewhat, but I still didn't mind). But there is more to it then this. I'm not going to stray any further due to me revealing and potentially spoiling some stuff so your going to have to find out what happens yourself. You only have to beat the game to get the platinum trophy as that is why you see many non-trophy hunters with this plat. The only problems I found with this was that it lags a lot and that the platinum trophy image is: the platinum trophy image. C'mon! But jokes aside, if you haven't gotten your hands on this yet, then go get it now as you'll love it like I did. Oh, and just a warning: bring some tissues before you play episode 5.400 Days I also eventually did the 400 Days DLC. It was a good add-on to the story, as it told the tale of a few different survivors of the apocalypse and what things they each faced to survive. They meet up at the end, and the fun thing is the characters in this are in Season 2, so I can't wait to see how much of my choices are going to leak into that. #19: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (PS3) All-Star Legend - You've Only Done Everything You have successfully earned all other trophies in the game. Congratulations! Enjoyment: 9.5/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | Date: 9/7/14 | Percent: 97% | Rare (14.66%) I had a lot of fun playing this game. I'm glad it went on the Instant Game Collection. This game has some of the biggest characters that have hit PlayStation (and some multi-platform). Characters I can think up: Jak (Jak & Daxter), Cole (inFamous 1 & 2), Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal), Kratos (God of War), and many other characters. And then I had even more fun playing online. I was playing with randoms to get the online trophies sadly, but what was the best part of my adventure was playing 2v2 with DarkPirate2007. Playing with him was the most fun I've had in awhile in multiplayer. And luckily I wasn't attached to any rockets when he used Heihachi. And then the arcade mode. I didn't find it boring like other people say. Tiring (if you play them consecutively), but not boring. There was those times when I was about to lose because the characters I was using had bad super attacks and combos. Like Dante. I was dominating with him playing arcade mode. Nobody was able to hurt me except for Nariko in the rival stage, and then there is Radec, in which he shoots and barely does damage, but then again, whenever I was facing him, he always killed me. But I liked most of the characters combos like PaRappa the Rapper and Cole. There is alot of fun to be found playing this game, and more fun when you're playing with somebody else. This game ranks in my Top 10 now and I really recommend it. #20: Frozen Synapse Prime (PS3) Prime Directive Earn all of the other trophies Enjoyment: 8//10 | Difficulty: 6/10 | Date: 10/25/14 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (2.56%) | Fastest Achiever Rank: #20 (2 Days, 22 Hours) This game was fun to play and I was happy to get the chance to play it. It really is a good game. Just has some problems that need to be fixed and the occasional freeze. (For example: It froze when the platinum was going to unlock) The gameplay was really intense in situations and I loved how there could be different outcomes and different ways you play. You can be reckless and go all guns blazing or you could position your units for quick and easy kills. I had some fun with the multiplayer trophies, and I boosted them with insider1113. There were some complications boosting mainly due to the online crashing and individually freezing on us at points, but we still had fun blasting each other to bits with rocket launchers. :DThe campaign however was a bit complicated and felt like a bit of a chore, and then you mix the difficult missions you encounter later on into it. But it is still fun to play putting aside the problems mentioned and if strategy games are your cup of tea, I highly recommend it. Otherwise, try it on a alternate account to see if it interests you. Also scored 20th fastest to get the platinum with a time of 2 days and 22 hours! #21: Heavy Rain (PS3) HEAVY RAIN™ Master Unlock all trophies Enjoyment: 10/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | Date: 12/20/14 | Percent: 100% | Rare (15.44%) This game is a masterpiece, and playing it through another time definitely didn't dampen my opinion of it when I first played. The story adapts to the choices you make throughout the game, and changes according to them. This game has no game over too. If you get one of the four main characters killed by accident early in the game, they will never be seen again. Going toward the end, you'll be wanting to know what will happen next. It has great gameplay, awesome acting (at least I think it does), and I have no problems with it. If you haven't gotten it yourself, I really recommend you get it and watch the story unfold through your eyes. It is my favorite game of all-time, and if you play through it, it may even be one of your favorites, too. Though I still gotta learn how to make origami. #22: Dead Space Concodrance Officer Collect all Trophies Enjoyment: 9.8/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 12/26/14 | Percent: 100% | Rare (18.23%) Nothing like reliving the horrors of the past. Dead Space is an awesome game that I enjoyed spending my time with, even if some of that time was trying to get past parts in Impossible. When I was younger, I played to Chapter 4 and I was scared at almost every jump scare popped up and I refused to play at night. But now that I'm older, none of the jump scares made me scream out of fright or anything. I love the gameplay to the fullest and I liked how realistic the game was. Made me feel like I was Isaac at times in the game. There were also some serious stuff that spooked me in the game, I even almost screamed out once! Now, all I need to do is get myself the PS3 version of Dead Space 2, as it is the only main Dead Space game I haven't played enough of yet... #23: Mirror's Edge Over the Edge Unlock all other trophies Enjoyment: 9.6/10 | Difficulty: 8/10 | Date: 12/30/14 | Percent: 83% | Ultra Rare (3.59%) Managed to get another platinum before the end if the year, and I expected it to be a while before I got this one too. Mirror's Edge is a fantastic and unique game. It has top-notch gameplay and it was really fun to play, as I never got bored with it when I was climbing buildings and bolting towards the next checkpoint. There are so many ways to go about a chapter also. You can go one way which involves climbing a fence, and using an object as a springboard to leap your way up and over a building, or you can just slide under a object, wallrun and than jump towards a pole to swing on and get their. And along with a handful of routes to take, are the variety of moves to perform. The story is a little cliche and the end is somewhat disappointing, but I enjoyed the cartoon intermissions between chapters, but the story is all what I can find bad about Mirror's Edge. The time trials were a tad bit hard, but the speedruns on the other hand. They were ridiculously frustrating as just little mistakes as accidently falling off of a building when you are 2 inches away from doing that when a cutscene ends (it has happened to me). They test your patience but I'm glad that I got them finished, after spending so much time on the Chapter 2 speedrun. #24: Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition Awarded all trophies All trophies have been awarded. Enjoyment: 8.8/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | Date: 1/4/15 | Percent: 61% | Rare (16.48%) Minecraft is a really is a fun game and I enjoyed every minute of it. There are so many things you can do, build, craft, make, whatever in this game. You can build bridges, brew potions, make and alter swords, hoes, axes, pickaxes, shovels, enchant, and many other things. And I've only touched the tip of the iceberg on how creative you can be in this game. And it is an even more fun experience when you are playing with friends. I had a fun time playing with insider1113 and I give big thanks to him for helping me with many of the trophies. I was laughing so much when I pushed him off of a ledge to die. I hope he didn't think I did it on purpose though. Overall, awesome game and you should try it out if you haven't. And when you do, be sure to bring along some friends for a awesome time. #25: Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut . Spoiler Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut Platinum Trophy Zach, it's over, all finished. It's time for you to leave town. Are you ready to go? Enjoyment: 10/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | Date: 2/2/15 | Percent: 100% | Rare (13.58%) I love dark and dangerous stories, with mind-blowing plot twist and maybe a sad ending to go along with it. In those regards, Deadly Premonition hit everything. Forget graphics and gameplay; this game is a masterpiece of a story. It is about a detective who has gone to Greenvale, a small town with a grave backstory. A serial killer is on the loose, and you must catch him, with your friend Zach that nobody else can see. Thing is, the story goes much more farther than that. The soundtrack is oe of the best I've heard in a game before, with a awesome and sad story to match. Greenvale is also a interesting town to roam and explore. There are 50 side-quests in Greenvale too. This game also have alot of cons about it too, though the story overshadowed them for me. Overall, it is a game you'll either love or hate. From this, you can probably tell which side I am on. I clocked in around 48 hours. 26-50 #26: Thief (PS3) Man of Steal The True Master Thief Enjoyment: 7.5/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 3/21/15 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (4.05%) Despite the review scores Thief got, I quite liked it. The gameplay was fun and I liked the pickpocketing and how many different ways you can do something in Thief. There are about 7 ways to complete a objective in a chapter, and I like finding out what those ways are. I also liked the variations of arrows as they were all useful for getting through the chapters. (Except the flash bombs, but those aren't arrows) The story was good until about Chapter 5, as it got dull and uninteresting. I think my rating would be lower had I played the older Thief games. But overall, it was good. Don't like it enough to recommend it, though. #27: Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments Perfectionist Collect all possible in-game trophies. Enjoyment: 8.5/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | Date: 3/21/15 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (25.56%) I really liked Sherlock Holmes. The fun gameplay coupled with the great humor Sherlock says in the cases makes it a awesome experience. It is fun to make experiments to see if something can be dons or not, or gathering evidence by delving into people's private affairs and relationships, and then just deducing the murderer out of the many different conclusions. There are many Minigames to play too; some are tedious, but most of them are fun, and than even talking to and interacting with Toby (Sherlock and Watson's dog). Too bad he is only useful to cases in the 4th case. (The Abbey Grange Affairs). Overall, fun game and I'd really recommend it. #28: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Platinum Platinum Enjoyment: 8.7/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | Date: 4/5/15 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (21.73%) I bought this game in a bundle with the rest of the Uncharted games on my 14th birthday to see why this is so popular. Now that I've finished it, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story was good, Nathan Drake's humor was spot on, and the gameplay was the best part for me. It still holds up well for a game released in 2007. Crushing mode wasn't too bad. There were annoying parts here and there but nothing to stop me for a while. Now onto Uncharted 2!....whenever I get to that. #29: Sonic Unleashed 100% Clear This is the platinum trophy and is unlocked automatically when all the trophies have been unlocked Enjoyment: 8.8/10 | Difficulty: 8/10 | Date: 6/5/15 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (2.48%) After some raging on Eggmanland with and trying to find all 400 medals this game has, I finally have this awesome looking platinum that was totally worth it. This game was really hard due to its hot dog stand missions. Nepgear2's advice on them was really helpful throughout trying to complete them, and the 400 medals took so long to get. But the game itself was good. The gameplay from both Hedgehog and Werehog were good, the music was great, and the places the adventure took me were memorable. This game isn't better than Generations, but it definitely comes close to it. #30: Medal of Honor Medal of Honor Tier 1 Obtain all Campaign and Online trophies Enjoyment: 8.5/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 6/9/15 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (4.40%) Haven't played any of the MoH games before this one, and this was quite good. While it had a nice story with a good ending to match, the multiplayer was also good. I didn't mind the online grind and I got almost of the MP trophies by myself. The famous Fire Controller trophy I needed to boost though since the highest kill streak I could get was 300 points. The other hard trophy to get was Conspicious Gallantry, but it didn't take me too long to beat. In this mode, you can see where your friends died last before they finally beat the mission. It was funny seeing where some people died. #31: Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Raging Blast Obtain all the trophies. Enjoyment: 9.2/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 7/3/15 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (4.93%) This game is tons of fun! I am glad that this is my first DBZ platinum. While it has most of the characters who can fought in DBZ, I loved using the variations of Gohan the most. Teen Gohan is my favorite character to use. And the battle system is addicting. While this game doesn't have a traditional story mode, each character has their own set of battles that form their Galaxy Mode. Completing a Galaxy Mode gets you a Dragon Ball, while obtaining 7 Dragon Balls lets you summon Shenron or Porunga, and you can wish for something. While it is disappointing how limited your wishes are, the other features of the game are good. The soundtrack is alright, the item system is great, the online is fun if you're playing with friends, and this game as a whole is really fun. Now I gotta get the other DBZ games. #32: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Is That All You Got? Earn all available Trophies for Modern Warfare® 2. Enjoyment: 9.4/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 7/24/15 | Percent: 100% | Rare (10.47%) One of the games I had already played before on 360, this game was pretty fun and enjoyable. The story was great while the gameplay was fun. Veteran wasn't too bad, there were a few sections that had me stuck for some time but past that, it is one of the easiest Veterans in the series. I invested more time in Spec Ops though, while there were some easy and some harder Veteran missions, some required strategies to beat. Anyhow, there were a few I needed help with. Many thanks go to ntommy123 and Suicide_Tortuga for the help with them. Overall, it is a pretty fun game, great fun with a buddy :D. #33: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Platinum Platinum Enjoyment: 9.5/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | Date: 7/28/15 | Percent: 75% | Uncommon (19.46%) This game is great! While it had a good story and great characters, the fantastic gameplay that the original Uncharted had is back. This game also took things from the original game and improved them. There are more weapons to choose from while the story is also longer. There is also alot of replay value to be found here. Crushing was a tad bit easier then its predecessor, hopefully Uncharted 3's Crushing mode is too. Haven't explored the multiplayer too much, going to go back to it later for the DLC, though overall, fantastic sequel. #34: God of War: Ascension Champion of the Gods Unlock all Trophies Enjoyment: 8.5/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | Date: 8/8/15 | Percent: 100% | Rare (15.94%) Haven't played a hack-n-slash game in a year, so I was delighted when I heard this was coming to +. My 2nd God of War platinum, still got 7 others to get, but how was this game? It is one of the weaker ones of the series. The different magic types didn't really seem all that different from each other, enemy types are the same, nothing feels different from the other games, which is a bit disapointing. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it though. The gameplay, though not original, is as fun as ever, the story was good, the boss battles were great like they always are, overall a fun game that was ultimately enough to overshadow its lack of originality. It is also my new fastest platinum. #35: Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut True Survivor Collect all Lone Survivor: Director's Cut trophies Enjoyment: 9.4/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | Date: 9/1/15 | Percent: 100% | Very Rare (5.25%) 2,000th trophy. Woohoo! So....I bought this a few months ago, I really like horror games and this really interested me. And that platinum name too. But what was my thoughts when I finally got to this game a few days ago? It was very confusing. I didn't know what I was doing at first and I ultimately played sloppy. But I was talking to Roster frequently throughout the game, and he helped me learn a lot about what to do in this game. And after I did, this turned into a very fun experience for me. I really enjoyed this game, and really recommend it. Had a platinum race with Roster for this platinum, and even though I was ahead (by a lot), he managed a comeback. I hope to have more platinum races with you, Roster! #36: Teslagrad Full Completion Find all 36 scrolls in the game Enjoyment: 7.5/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | Date: 9/5/15 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (31.16%) Not much to say about this game that hasn't already been said in the previous pages. Good platformer, has some good puzzles and interesting bosses, though the game is REALLY short. Scrolls act as collectibles and the only thing you need to do for the platinum is collect all the scrolls, and the platinum can be attained in less then a hour. But of course, school made this 2 days. I haven't finished the story yet so I'll jump back on it for fun after Twisted Metal installs, but overall the game is good but I really wish it was longer. #37: Trine 2 Trine 2 hard Earn all Trophies in Trine 2 Enjoyment: 8.1/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | Date: 10/25/15 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (37.35%) The name of the platinum (Trine 2 hard) is a very inaccurate description of how hard this game is. Anyways, there isn't too much to say about this game. Got this in the Co-op sale and it was a pretty fun puzzle-platformer, albeit how short it was. It had some pretty good puzzles, even if most of the puzzles could be solved by the Wizard alone. The three playable characters were all diverse and had upgrades suited for nearly entirely different purposes. But the game (or at least the platinum) is extremely short. I'm also only halfway through the story right now. I'll continue it later just for the fun of it, but overall, good game. #38: Mass Effect 2 N7 Elite Acquire all trophies Enjoyment: 9.5/10 | Difficulty: 6/10 | Date: 11/28/15 | Percent: 100% | Rare (11.91%) Awesome game. Heard so much about this game so was pretty excited when I saw it was coming to + and I was not disappointed. The story was exciting, and I really want to see what happens in Mass Effect 3 now, while the suicide mission was awesome. The gameplay is really great, with the different selection of powers you and your squad members can use. And then the exploration is really what made the game for me. I was told before playing this game that by the time I have this platinum, I'd want the other two games. They were right. Arrival I also bought the Arrival DLC while playing through Insanity. It was good and quick, nothing special. Also liked playing as a mech. (Even if the scene was barely a minute long) #39: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Revengeance Obtain all Trophies. Enjoyment: 9.5/10 | Difficulty: 8/10 | Date: 1/1/16 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (2.90%) This is my first Platinum (the company, not the trophy) game. And I love it. This game was great, from the awesome soundtrack to the fast hack-and-slash gameplay. The amount of enemy types this game had were great and the bosses were so fun to fight, even if they had showed me how bad I was at the game in my first playthrough. Luckily I got a lot of practice with them going for the no-damage trophies. Everything in this game made this game really fun to play except for the camera. The camera was fighting against me the whole game, and in thr VR missions. Mastiffs would jump around the area so much. The camera couldn't keep up with them, so I frequently got attacked by Mastiffs coming from off-screen. And I was never fast enough to parry them at that point. The platinum, was hard, because of Monsoon and VR Mission 18, which took me 6 hours to beat. And then there were fights that were hard to S-Rank, like the Chapter 4 turret battle and the Metal Gear Excelsus (I had brought no repair nanopastes for that fight). Thank you for the multiple tips of advice you gave me throughout, x410xDragon. But overall, awesome game. Makes me wish more that it was longer though. Also did the all 3 of the DLCs. VR Mission Expansion The DLC-VR missions were pretty fun (and tough as well), especially that side-scroller VR mission where Raiden had to use his fists. Sam's Side Story Beating Senator Armstrong with no damage may had been the hardest of all of the no-damage trophies in the game. But it was still fun to play as Sam. Wolf's Side Story Liked Blade Wolf's side story because you could be stealthy the whole time (with the exception being the boss of course). #40: God of War HD (PS3) Trophy of Zeus Unlock all God of War® Trophies Enjoyment: 8.8/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 1/3/16 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (22.45%) The first God of War, where this all started. The game was good, had good boss fights (though that can be said for all God of War games), and how apart the magic was from each other (which can also be said for all God of War games) was also interesting. I liked Rage of Poseidon the most out of all the magic throughout the series. Too bad it wasn't carried on to the other games. I found this game's Challenge of the Gods the hardest out of all of them, mainly Challenge 10. Not to say they were too bad though. #41: God of War II HD (PS3) Trophy of Gaia Unlock all God of War® II Trophies Enjoyment: 9.4/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | Date: 1/5/16 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (27.13%) I rank this game second best. The game made what the original game was good at and made it better. The story is more interesting, I can recognize more characters then I could in the original game, and the boss battles were better for me too, especially the Colossus of Rhodes. The Challenge of the Titans was also easier than the original's. #42: God of War: Chains of Olympus Above and Beyond Collect all of the trophies Enjoyment: 8.9/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | Date: 1/7/16 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (38.33%) This game is the second worst to me (out of all GoW games, ofc), but it is still a pretty good game. Though there isn't really much to say about this game that isn't said in the previous games. It was pretty nice finding out how Atlas became chained from God of War II, and the battle against Persephone was the best in the game. The Challenge of the Gods were also easy. This game was very short, platinumed it in 15 hours. #43: God of War: Ghost of Sparta The Ghost with the Most Collect all of the trophies Enjoyment: 9.2/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | Date: 1/11/16 | Percent: 100% | Uncommon (39.09%) This game seemed better to me then Chains of Olympus, third best in the series. The story was more interesting to me then Chains of Olympus, fighting Thanatos with Deimos was memorable. The Challenge of the Gods in this game was the easiest for me out of all of the GoW games. The only thing I can criticise about the game is how short it was. This was shorter than Chains of Olympus. And Chains of Olympus was really short. Now that I had played all of the God of War games, I'll rank them as: III > II > Ghost of Sparta > I > Chains of Olympus > Ascension #44: Medal of Honor: Warfighter For Honor For Country Collected all other Medal of Honor™ Warfighter trophies Enjoyment: 8.5/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 2/21/16 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (1.93%) I have a tendency to like games that other people deem bad. This game, gladly, wasn't an exception. I liked this game as much as I did 2010, which says I liked both. The story follows Preacher and Stump chasing the PETN (a deadly explosive) across the globe. I hadn't cared much for the story, just the gameplay, which was as good as its predecessor's. There are way too many breaches though. This wouldn't be much of a problem, except that you are required to complete the game on a difficulty where death sends you back to the beginning of the game, and the luck and unreliability of the breaches got me killed the most out of anything else in the campaign. Luckily, you can back up your saves before breaches. But otherwise, pretty good campaign. The multiplayer occupied most of the time I spent in this game, which was thankfully good fun to play too. The whole experience was made more fun because I got to play with someone through it.. Thanks Roster13 for all the fun times we had. There is a trophy for getting 20 kills with all weapons in the game, this includes all 12 snipers. Most of them were frustrating to use. There was also a trophy for going on a 2300 point streak, I had to boost that one. So my thanks go to Roster13, zanarkandruinsx2, craigm1987, and playingcards. #45: LittleBigPlanet 100% Complete Earn all LittleBigPlanet™ trophies to unlock this platinum trophy Enjoyment: 10/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | Date: 3/30/16 | Percent: 100% | Ultra Rare (4.05%) | Fastest Achiever Rank: 29th (4 Days, 10 Hours) This is the third time I have platinumed this game (the other two times were back in 2011) and this game still hasn't gotten old. It is still rich with the same fun and good times I had originally played it for, especially if you play it with a friend, or better yet, a group of 4. Acing all of the levels wasn't much of a problem. Most levels took me 2 to 3 tries because I had aced them two times before. Most of the community levels are a blast and are a direct result of what creativity can end up leading to. The Create trophy didn't take long to get at all, just some H4H posts here and there, but a friend of mine, erised_, boosted my level and author hearts by 15! Currently making a guide for this game here, as I need every excuse to keep playing. Metal Gear Solid Level Kit I adored this DLC, as it's full of fun levels and items. The Paintinator was extremely fun to use throughout. I also full use of the costumes that came with this. Pirates of the Carribean This was the ony part of the game that I hadn't played before, and I enjoyed it as well. The levels were great and the Kraken fight at the end was awesome. Well, onto the DLC in LBP2 when I get that, which is hopefully soon. #46: Alice: Madness Returns Platinum For All Other Trophies Platinum For All Other Trophies Enjoyment: 9.5 | Difficulty: 3/10 | Date: 4/24/16 | Percent: 85% | Rare (16.14%) Really fun game this was to play, from start to finish. Interesting story, simple but sweet combat system (the different weapons kept everything from getting old), nice platforming and puzzles, and minigames. I LOVED the minigames so much, from the Scroll of Destiny, to the part where Alice became a giant, but my favorite was Off With Her Head from the second to last chapter. The different areas looked eye-catching and wonderful too, imagine what this game would look like if it was remastered on PS4! I honestly don't have much to dislike about the game. This was a wacky and fun game to play through, the $1.99 I paid for it was beyond a steal. (whatever that is called) Onto American McGee's Alice. Will I dislike this game like everybody else does, or will I join that very miniscule number of people who do like it? #47: Spec Ops: The Line Spoiler Legion of Merit Unlock all Trophies. Enjoyment: 9.5/10 | Difficulty: 6/10 | Date: 7/2/16 | Percent: 100% | Rare (12.53%) "Home? We can't go home. There's a line men like us have to cross. If we're lucky, we do what's necessary, then we die." "No, all I really want, Captain, is peace." I was more confused in my first playthrough than I want to admit. But now that I've done a 2nd playthrough of the game and understand anything, this game was amazing. You have to make multiple moral choices throughout the game, neither good or bad, but at the same time, some of them will make you question your judgement so many times, especially towards the end of the game (if you played the game, you know what I'm talking about ). It is so hard to describe the story without using spoilers, so I will refrain from doing that. But there is one thing most of everybody who's played the game can agree on; this game is a mind-blowing experience full of huge twists and turns. FUBAR was a pain to play through. Some parts were challenging, some parts were just cheap. Not only that, but other gripes with the gameplay I never noticed on lower difficulties came into the light here. Lugo and Adams are really useful, but they get out of cover way too much and end up dying right in the open, forcing me to go revive them, which I almost always die trying to. That alone constituted for most of my deaths in FUBAR. Same goes for clunky controls that haunted me throughout my playthrough. Frustrating, but nothing that was able to deter my enjoyment of the game. What started off as a very generic shooter about three men going on a reconnaissance mission in a story we've all heard before grew into those same three men completely failing their mission and instead, fighting each others' altercating opinions while trying to survive Dubai at the same time. Incredible game and I'd recommend it to anyone reading this. #48: LittleBigPlanet Karting Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #49: Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #50: Max Payne 3 The words that belong here have ceased... for now. 51-75 Spoiler #51: Ratchet: Deadlocked Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #52: [PROTOTYPE] (PS3) Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #53: Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #54: Dead Rising 2 (PS3) Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #55: Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #56: Far Cry 3 Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #57: Medal of Honor: Frontline Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #58: Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy HD (PS3) Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased.. for now. #59: Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #60: Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus HD (PS3) Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #61: DmC: Devil May Cry Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #62: inFAMOUS Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #63: Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #64: Darksiders Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #65: Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed (PS3) Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #66: Saints Row: The Third Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #67: Hitman: Contracts HD Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #68: Hitman 2: Silent Assassin HD Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #69: Hitman: Blood Money HD Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #70: BioShock (PS3) Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #71: Life is Strange (PS4) Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #72: Until Dawn Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. #73: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (PS3) Spoiler The words that belong here have ceased... for now. cybershark91
Hey TheLastSurvivorD just a question and a recommendation The Question: Why don't you have Heavy Rain on your acount? Since you love that game you really should have it on your account And the Recommendation: You should plat The Last of Us at some point in the future It would be cool, if TheLastSurvivor has a The Last of Us plat
TheLastSurvivorD
For the question... I had Heavy Rain on my older PS3 (digital), and that PS3 eventually had the YLOD, so I went to get it fixed but it got "abandoned" so it got shipped off somewhere else. For the recommendation, I was actually going to get The Last Of Us for Christmas. The Last Survivor having a The Last of Us plat . Now I'm definetly getting it plat.
