Just read that it was being re-released on PS4

I happened to catch a release date on Wiki for spring 2015.

I Googled it and got another article supposedly confirming a re-release of Borderlands 2.

Supposedly it will be 1080p and 60 fps.

It seems like it could be worth picking up again with those upgrades.

They should instead make a real sequel to Borderlands 2 instead of a prequel or a remaster.

I don't have anything against prequels, but i do wanna know what would happen after Borderlands 2, specially after that ending which opens endless possibilities!

I've found a few places on the web that mention it and its on Wiki, but I can't find any legitimate sources.

Not that I believe everything that is on Wiki, but for the most part its been pretty good for Borderlands.

Gearbox hasn't confirmed it from what I can tell.

I hope they do release it on PS4 though, I probably just worked myself up and got overexcited about it.

If anyone finds anything they believe to be legit let us know.

Do you have a source for this?

Did some searching and found this

Good news for Borderlands fans as the much anticipated Borderlands 2 PS4 and Xbox One port has been confirmed if the reports are to be believed.

EGX 2014 is going to be one of the most exciting game expo this year next to E3 as a bunch of new details from a bunch of the upcoming games would be announced there and it seems like the Borderlands 2 PS4 and Xbox One editions has been confirmed and details about the port would be revealed on EGX 2014 along with Telltale Games' Tales from the Borderlands release date.

Cyberland has reported that 2K Games has allegedly confirmed the Borderlands 2 PS4 and Xbox One port and that both games would run at 1080p 60 fps and that Telltale Games' would announce the Tales from the Borderlands release date at EGX 2014.

As reported by KpopStarz, Telltale community @puzzlebox has described the project genesis on her twitter as follows: "Telltalegames and Gearbox Software got drunk at last year's VGAs and now they're having a Borderlands baby". It is going to be a Telltale style decions based point and click game, set in the normally FPS "Borderlands" world. Set after the events of "Borderlands 2"

The events of "Tales From The Borderlands" take place after the events of "Borderlands 2," not to be confused with "Borderlands the Pre Sequel" which takes place between "Borderlands" and "Borderlands 2." However, plot events from "Tales From The Borderlands" do connect with "The Pre Sequel" in some ways that have not been made clear(Confused Yet?)The game is actaully told from two playable character's perspectives, and you play their story, both of their stories, not what actually happened. Rhys (played by Sam Witwer aka Crashdown from Battlestar Galactica) and Fiona, who both work for Hyperion. It starts when Vasquez calls them into their office about a vault key, and gets crazier from there.

Telltale Games Kevin Bruner explains that "you never really play what actually happened, you're playing this Big Fish version of what happened."

Set in the world of Pandora and following the events of Borderlands 2, the humour of Gearbox's series will remain, and as Bruner says "...you have to have crazy, over-the-top action scenes, or it's not a Borderlands game."

Gearbox writer Anthony Burch says Tales from the Borderlands is about the people of Pandora, and not about characters from the series, though they will make an appearance. He says the story will be "more about schmos trying to get by...that makes the world feel much more real."

"We're not making up a lot of these details [in Tales from the Borderlands]," Bruner says. "These details are in canon. They're from the Gearbox universe. But there just isn't as much of an opportunity in Borderlands to experience it."

"In the first-person shooter, you're responsible for tons of the chaos," he says. "You go through and you're just laying waste everywhere. But what would it be like to live in that world and have that be your reality? To have to grow up in that?

"What would it be like, instead of being a vault hunter, to be a person who has to deal with that world and to try to make your way through it?"

Gamefront had some hands on time with the game and had this to say about it, " While the lack of run and gun is to be expected in this story and choice driven game, don't expect that to mean a lack of action. Within my 30 minutes with Tales, I found myself surrounded by Psycho Bandits, engaged in an all-out shoot-out, but this time with Loaders on my side. I witnessed a vault hunter discover a chest out in the desert, only to be murdered by a bandit whose remaining seconds in life were to be spent being accidentally run over by my car. I even got to witness a Nomad kicking down a port-a-potty and rip off the door to use as it's iconic shield. Not only that, but I collected some dollars and potentially sweet loot for all of my trouble. What will those dollars buy me? Only more time with the game will tell."

Doesn't seem super reliable since I could only find it on that and maybe one or two other sites.

Let's just remake a bunch of games on the PS4 instead of writing new games cause....reasons! The sad thing is, Borderlands is pretty much the only game franchise that Gearbox is successfull at. I love me some Borderlands, but do we seriously need to milk the living shit out of Borderlands 2 until no one can take it anymore?

I think Gearbox is doing the remaster, NaughtyDog did the TLOU Remaster, and I'm pretty sure that Rockstar did the GTA V remaster. This and games that are available on both consoles are the reasons why I haven't pulled the trigger on a PS4. I want to see more all-inclusive PS4 games before I would even consider jumping on one, 7th gen games with graphics running at 60 FPS simply isn't enough for me do drop $400 on one.

Probably gonna wait for a complete edition and a major price drop.

Already played on PS3 AND PC, so already know how much better the graphics and stuff could be.

No point in a re-buy.

with so many actual "new" games with new stories, dont see myself touching BL2 ever again.
