I just got my 12th lined up... Been kicking it into high gear with the summer starting! My goal was to get 15 ready to pop so I can get my 100th plat in conjunction with this event (might have more than 15 if all works out though).

 

EDIT: Got #13 ready to go! Hitman: GO is finished. Now on to Assassin's Creed Chronicles for the Vita...

Good update from me this time around. Finished Assassins Creed Rogue and moved on to Escape Dead Island which i surprisingly enjoyed given the write ups on it. Moves me onto 9 ready now. Just started Deadly Premonition which is f****d up to say the least but I am getting into it. Not sure what is next but that is the beauty of it!!

That is a lot! I think the record was 45+ platinums for round 1? Are you going to break it!?

Definitely not 45... I was shooting for 15 (to go along with my 100th plat), and anything above that is just a bonus. Maybe 20?

The record from round 1 was 60 plats, which is more than I pop in 15-20 months.

Just found out I'll be out of town on August 20th. Welp.

 

This really sucks... Sucks for me too as my wife just informed me yesterday that we will be attending a wedding in Chicago on August 20th (5 hrs away). This really makes me frustrated. I'm gonna still plat all my games on one day, it just won't be on August 20th. I'll leave it up to the powers that be to decide if it's legit or not.

I reckon we should have a window like we did last time. People obviously have put in the hard work and August 20th is a long way from the start to know exactly what you will be doing. Still can't guarantee I will be free myself. Dragon is the chief, it's your call sir?

 

I would agree possibly have the whole weekend but just choose 1 day to do all your plats. Not spreading them out over the entire weekend.

Long time, no post.. So, I've decided to change a couple of games. I hate to do it, but I just don't see me getting the last 2 on the list done. Sony keeps making me buy new stuff, and I just lack the motivation to play All 4 One and Deadpool... That, and my 150th Plat was likely to come during this. And I want that to be none other than Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Every one in the series I've platinumed so far is on my list of milestones, so it just seems fitting. Plus, I love the games so darn much. ;w;

 

To be honest, I wasn't too confident I could get that one, or I may have put it on there in the first place. It's said to be the hardest in the series, and I found 2 pretty grueling. But I feel I've overcome the worst of it, at this point(in large part thanks to a lot of moral support and tips from the community), so here we are. Update time!

Thanks. :) And you really should; it's a lot of fun. I had been putting it off, but then was encouraged to start it, after posting that I hadn't in the new 2.8 trailer thread. Should be ready for that, by the time it comes out(don't know if I'll go back and plat Chain of Memories, though..). Once I finish NFS: Rivals and The Mark of Kri, I'll be jumping back into it.

Kingdom Hearts is a series that is, IMHO, the second hardest platinum to get next to the Disgaea series - you have to do a whole lot of mini-games, fight some extremely hard bosses, and collect everything to get 100%. Right now I just finished the Hades Cup in KHFM and got to 53% trophy completion but the gummi ship blueprints and super-secret bosses are going to be an exercise in frustration, but I'll do them because I want to platinum at least one Kingdom Hearts game before 2.8 comes out. Birth By Sleep Final Mix is also easy but OMG why did they make getting Fantastic in one of the Master Mode Ice Cream Beat songs to get 100% command collection?!? :angry:

Kingdom Hearts is a series that is, IMHO, the second hardest platinum to get next to the Disgaea series - you have to do a whole lot of mini-games, fight some extremely hard bosses, and collect everything to get 100%. Right now I just finished the Hades Cup in KHFM and got to 53% trophy completion but the gummi ship blueprints and super-secret bosses are going to be an exercise in frustration, but I'll do them because I want to platinum at least one Kingdom Hearts game before 2.8 comes out. Birth By Sleep Final Mix is also easy but OMG why did they make getting Fantastic in one of the Master Mode Ice Cream Beat songs to get 100% command collection?!? :angry:

They're certainly some of the most challenging Plats, I think I've gone for. Still, I don't think they hold a candle to things like Ninja Gaiden, Catherine, Injustice, etc. I was surprised by my lack of difficulty with most of Birth By Sleep. It's a long grind, for sure. But really the only thing I've hated, so far, was fighting Unknown with Terra.. Beating him with Aqua was a cakewalk, after I put on the right ability(don't use Barrier Surge, for the love of God. Thunder, Thunder, Thunder!!!)The rest wasn't even near KH2's level of difficulty.

 

I thought I'd have more trouble with the rhythm minigame, too, but it wasn't that bad. Compared to what I had to do for Bon Appetit!'s Platinum, at least.  :dunno:
