I need suggestions (titles & descriptions) of site trophies to add and eventually graphics too but that'll be after the list is decided on. In my opinion, I think this only encourages (some) people to spam. Perhaps instead have trophies for providing tips on PSN trophies, but only ones that people generally like. (Post in 50 different Introduction threads) Not a fan of this one personally, like the Introduction threads need more people spamming "Welcome to the site" 50 times. The ones for trophy tips are great though, the site definitely needs more incentive to post tips, no matter how small. Something based around how many "Likes" your posts/profile has maybe? Personable - Have 25 of your posts "liked" by fellow forum members. Superstar - Have 50 of your posts "liked" by fellow forum members. Forum Legend - Have 100 of your posts "liked" by fellow forum members. General profile stuff? The Person Behind The Posts - Have your profile viewed 500 times. Explore Yourself - Fill out your profile in full (at least one contact method, birthday, gender, location, interests, your "About Me" page, etc). I don't think it's a problem at all. Even if it's with the intention of just getting a site trophy, greeting members would still do good in boosting morale and make the community seem a lot more friendly. And the difference between that and the X amount of posts ideas are that in topics where you're actually trying to talk about something, it's annoying spam, whereas in an introduction thread, it's nice for the new member and makes them feel welcomed, regardless of whether it's starting up a big conversation or a simple hello. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think the trophies should emphasize people praising/utilizing your posts and profile moreso than just posting in general. The former requires (in most cases) intelligent, funny or at least thought-provoking posts, the latter caters to folks that spam. The type of trophies I would like to see would be: - Be an active member for x amount of time. - Write x amount of trophy tips. - Receive x amount of thumbs up ratings on one of your trophy tips. You get the idea with these. It would also be nice to see some PSN trophy related ones, such as: - Achieve x amount of Platinum trophies. - Play x amount of different trophy enabled PS3 games. - Earn a trophy that has less than a x% achievement rating, x days after its first achiever. There's no need to go on further as you get the idea. Obviously, it would be cool to see site contest related trophies as the site gains a larger community. I'm not so sure about the time travel one - a lot of Mom and Pop stores in the US (much less in Europe, sadly >:F >:F >:F >:F) sell games before their street date, and that's not the mark of a player cheating really - if someone released Dark Souls two days early I would be all over that. I'm cool with the first one but the second one seems unfair to those who have access *shakes fist at them* to games early. Some journalists get games for free and they give it to a friend before it's supposed to be released. It's not the person's fault they have connections. As for some actual site trophies, here are my thoughts: KB would be proud - Earn a platinum for every game Kevin Butler has advertised. Okay, yeah I'm a little biased because I will never be getting those site trophies, but the point of a site trophy is that they are for the site. You already get a platinum trophy on your PS3, why do you need another one on the site? I really like some of the ideas you guys are coming up with. I guess I'll add some to the mix... I'm Everywhere! - Post in every section of the forums I Don't Just Game on the PS3 - Make a forum game Promoted - Become a staff member I'm not so sure about the 'Promoted' one, as we don't actually need any other staff at the moment, but going forward, it could be a possibility for a trophy. I'd also prefer if that list was all forum related. I think any related to PSN should go to a site trophies DLC list. The same goes for trophies that could only be achieved at a certain time (see some of Pie's ideas). If there are people that disagree, then my second preferred option is to have two different lists, each with their own Platinum, one forum related and one PSN related. Here are some of my current ideas (may be similar to other ideas posted here already, some ideas borrowed from others) in no particular order for a forum related trophy list (colored by trophy grade if there is to be such a system): Hospitality - Welcome 50 different members to the forums. Typing in size 24 font makes it look like you're screaming at us lol, and you wrote a shiton so I made it a little smaller to avoid taking up too much space.
