Just finished Episode Duscae for the first time.  Hype level through the roof.  I had a 5 day vacation starting Monday.  I moved it to next week.  I'm going to get paid to play FFXV.  I got my pro ready, cold beer in the fridge, snacks on hand, clean socks lined up, kitty cat Antoine looking at me like I'm a damn fool (he always looks at me like that), phone turned off, candles lit.  I am so ready for this game.  I wanted to pre-order on PSN so I could start at midnight but I wanted the physical copy so hopefully Amazon gets it to me early on the 29th.  It's really happening!!

More like 2 hours.  I did it in that the first time I played it with doing all the hunts but the Lv. 15 one.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The strategy guide should line out a pretty solid way to get it done easily enough, if Youtube doesn't do it first.

Cool. Say, I wonder if anyone from PSNProfiles got early copies of FFXV? If so, can they tell what they think of it without spoilers? I know people don't want spoilers from the game, but I would like to hear from those who got early copies what they think of the game. If its good, that'll make me glad and hope that will put those fools at Lamefaqs in their place.

Might wanna check your Amazon preorders too. They told me mine is shipping out Friday, and should be arriving on Monday.

 

You Americans might not get that though, because as far as I know, that's a day off in Murica.

If there are early copies surfacing (there are), there won't be any spoilers. Sony has to enable the trophy list before anybody can see it. So even if you somehow got a copy today, right now, and tried to look at the trophy list, it would be offline. I'm sure it'll be going online sometime next week though.

Square Enix haven't even started the shipping process on mines but I asked them and they say they aim to get it to you early or on the day.  Hopefully ships out Thursday/Friday for me too.  I'm getting the UCE.

We get a trophy for doing anything for the 1st time.

 

Also: [Quadruple Threat – Equipped four weapon slots] since we already start with 3 we just need to equip one more.

 

And: [Divine Intervention – ...] well now we know how many summons the game has.

There's a book in the demo too which tells you what summons they are.  There's more than 6 though as Carbuncle isn't included in that book.

I'm hoping those hidden trophies are challenging.

So, the more I see of this game, the more it intrigues me. I haven't really played a Final Fantasy since FFX on the PS2 (probably going to rebuy it on the PS4) but I've been yearning for a badass RPG here lately and this look like it may hit the spot. I'm assuming the series is still the same where you don't need any knowledge of previous games in order to understand the story of the current one, is that still the case?
