Notification Bug

For the past hour or so I've been unable to open the drop down notification list that shows up at the top right of the screen. I've tried on Chrome on pc, Chrome on my android phone, and firefox on pc. The drop down PM list will still drop down and I'm still able to view notifications through the usercp page.

 

UPDATE: It seems like it's working again for me. It's a little strange that I couldn't use it for a few hours though.

Oh I thought it was just an error on my part. Yeah I've been experiencing this too.

Same here, I have to right click the box & select "open in new tab" (brings up the User CP page) to be able to view my notifications. I thought clearing my cookies & junk would fix it, but it's still messed-up (I'm on Firefox). Been happening all day today...

It worked for the past couple days but as of early this morning it stopped working again.

This mostly happens to me when my internet is running really slow. It's fairly rare but infuriating when it does happen lol.

mmm.. that's strange... it was working on me earlier and now I am having the same bug.

Same thing has been happening to me all day as well, it registers that I've "checked" my notifications but the only way for me to see them is to use the User CP page.

Something else I noticed; whenever I make a post on a topic, I have to refresh the page for it to show (often, but not all the time). I guess the site is just a little glitchy today, hopefully it'll fix itself sooner or later (it's still happening for me).

I got a few notifications of people who quoted me after this thread has been created but I also miss a lot of notifications I should have gotten. It's like it depends on which person quotes me whether I get a notification or not.

lol I did the same thing for the first few times.

Now I drag the notification icon to address bar.

Unfortunately not for me. I've deleted history/cookies and reloaded the tab but it still doesn't show.

I think I may have found out what caused the error. It might happen when someone gets a notification for a thread that has an emoji in its title. After deleting these from the usercp page it started working again.

Could be, that'll be fixed in the forum update soon.
