Beyondthegrave07
Do you just hold money in their psn wallet and wait for games to go on sale? or buy what you want immediately when you see a game you want? Why do you this?
Arkthur
I'm somewhat new to the PS3 so most of the games I buy are old and on sale. But I try to buy new games when they come out, just because I don't like to wait
bna_brat
I'm somewhat new to PS3 also so I'm in the same boat as Arkthur_us. Most of the games I'm interested in are older but on the other hand I'm somewhat cheap as well. :-) I wait till they go on sale (Just got Saints Row The Third Full Package for $22.00) SCORE!! Parker
I buy all my games retail (unless they're PSN only, of course) so I never keep money in my PSN wallet. If I need something off PSN I just ad funds via my debit card, which has been on my PS3 since well before the hack and nothing has ever come of it. If I need something off PSN I just ad funds via my debit card, which has been on my PS3 since well before the hack and nothing has ever come of it. Pretty much this for me as well. I refuse to buy anything digital that I can get a physical copy of unless it's strictly only on PSN.
Stevieboy
I buy 99% of my games (digital or retail) either when they're on sale or after a price cut. The last time I bought a retail game full price was the first Metal Gear Solid on the PS1. Nowadays I wait until they are at least half price or less, or wait for the GOTY edition with all the inevitable DLC included. Retail games here are released at £40 new. Every single retail PS3 game I have bought (that's over 150) has dropped in price to at least somewhere between the £15-£20 mark, sometimes even less. For me, it just makes sense to wait a while and get it cheaper.
Mr_MovieMan29
I have to say, I am really cautious on Pre-ordering. I will Pre-order games like The Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls....but games like Aliens: Colonial Mars and Tomb Raider have to wait until they are on sale for me to get them. So most of the time, wait for the sale
Moggy
All the non PS+ stuff I usually get are either PSN exclusive, or dlc anyways, so I just get it as soon as I can.
navep9
I buy almost all of my games retail. The main purpose for this is because I dont want to take up too much memory from downloading games.
Bullstomp
Sale. Buying a game for 59.99 US when it comes out makes no sense if you can wait a month or two to get it at $19.99-$29.99. Getting 2 or 3 games w/60 bucks > 1 game for $60 bucks.

Beyondthegrave07
If it's psn only I wait for sales. I have plenty of games to hold me over until the games I want are on sale.
Crisis001
I will usually buy the new games as soon as they come out cause I'm always afraid that if I wait too long or for when there on sale, there won't be any at the only game store around where I live. CrashTV-XHess
I usually wait a month or 2 for the price to go down.
Arkthur
I must say that I only buy the games a reaaaally want when they come out in my contry since I only buy one per month, the other ones I wait until the price drops.
teglet
Depends. Games I am very excited about I will get opening night, with other games I may wait for a sale/price drop. It's all to do with how much I care about the game, and how rich I'm currently feeling.
Spark-N
Depends if I can get it cheaper of the PS Store, I usually will, Hitman ans Sleeping Dogs were both cheap a month ago so I bough them then. Yeah I will buy something if I really want it regardless of the price, well in most cases.
Doom
I buy all my games retail (unless they're PSN only, of course) so I never keep money in my PSN wallet. If I need something off PSN I just ad funds via my debit card, which has been on my PS3 since well before the hack and nothing has ever come of it. Parker Exactly the same. I only buy retail (and 90% of them when on sale). On the PS Store I only buy DLCs and I never keep funds on my profile, I just funnel them from my credit card. theitdemon
Just about every game I buy is retail. That way, I can always trade it in when I have finished playing it
silver_pigy
the only thing i buy on the PS Store is PS+ other than that i don't buy DLC and i only buy my games from stores so i have a physical copy
NightWing127
On PSN, I only once bought a game but that was it I don't buy games or dlcs even sales, since it takes too much time for me to download a game. & I don't keep my money on psn. If I'm ever going to buy something on psn store, I always see how much it is before i buy a psn card
-Dark Mark-
I'm usually trying older games that I have never played, so I'm usually in the used games section. But I would buy a game as soon as it is released if I really like it. I buy off of the PSN if the deal is too good, or when I'm buying classics. FNeves82
I just buy a PSN Card when I want to buy something. Before I buy it, I think everything I want to. So, I won't stay with anything in my wallet.
