Edmund's latest game, considered the spiritual successor of SMB, that was released in 2017 on PC and Switch, finally is coming to PS4 and is available to buy in Europe (not sure about NA region though) https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/product/EP2103-CUSA15470_00-THEENDISNIGH0000 I played about thirty hours on Steam and personally greatly recommend this game, but be prepared for a challenge even greater than in SMB, if trophies will be similiar to Steam version achievements. It seems there's no trophy list yet, and it's unknown what's the fate of Vita version which was announced along with PS4 version. EDIT: Here's achievement list from steam to compare https://steamcommunity.com/stats/583470/achievements. They will need to shrink it up because trophy list can have 70 trophies at most without plat. EDIT 2: Still no trophy list on PSNP (and trophies can't be synchronized yet), so I'm posting brief trophy list: Dead God - Do it all! (PLATINUM) Complete: The End, Arid Flats, Overflow, Wall of Sorrow, SS Exodus, Retrograde, Machine, Hollows, Golgotha, Anguish, Gloom, Blight, Ruin, MortaMan, Blaster Massacre, River City Rancid, Catastrovania, Dig Dead, Ash Climber, Fallen Fantasy, Rubble Bobble, Morbid Gear, Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Scab or Die, Tombs & Torture, Pus-Man, Ghosts & Grieving, Dead Racer, Spike Tales, The End is Nigh!, Collect: 9 retro cartridges from The Past, 4 retro cartridges from ???, 450 Tumors. Honestly, I think The Super Mega Cart! - Unbreakable will be worse for most people, because it can't be cloud/USB-synced and Iron God can. But if you choose to do it legit, then yes, Iron God will be incredibly hard. (I still think Iron God done legit would be easier than Crypt plat). Last game I've played was Hollow Knight, which had insanely difficult achievements on steam compared to PS4. Well lets see how it will actually turn out this time. It's strange but bronze trophy for completing River City Rancid didn't pop for me even with doing everything including completing it deathless. So probably these trophies for carts are glitched for now. The End, The Arid Flats and The Overflow I've got without problems. However, I'm annoyed by fps drop in several places mostly Overflow and The Machine. It's unacceptable in such precise platformer. Added note: Trophies for Ruin and Acceptance (two last story levels) didn't unlock for me. I think it's probably better now to wait for patch. Spinosaurus Rex Posted May 2, 2019 Author Share Posted May 2, 2019 (edited) Both Edmund and Nicalis don't give a shit about it, despite several people describing the problem on their Twitter accounts. It's probably best to get as many collectibles as possible without reaching any trophy requirements until the game is patched. I assume collecting 449 tumors, 8 carts from The Past and 3 carts from ??? will be safe. I also hope those who got Anguish trophy before The Past trophy won't be flagged.
