I got a message from the dev today saying the following

Hello~

Recently, after talks with Sony, I have come to the conclusion that it will not be economically feasible for Soul Saga to be cross-buy between the PS4 and Vita. It may have cross-play features, but the cross-buy will just not work within my budget and the costs associated with this feature.

So I forgot a very important question in the survey I sent out...

Would you like your PSN code to be for Vita or PS4?

Thanks,
Mike

So it looks like no cross buy.

Um...wow! These characters look just like a bunch from SquareEnix titles:

First character - Ramza Beoluve/Marche (Final Fantasy Tactics/Advance)

Second character - Luso (Final Fantasy Tactics A2)

Third character - Robo (Chrono Trigger)

Fourth character - Mog (Final Fantasy series)

Monsters - Ifrit, Diablos (Final Fantasy series)

Dark Knight character - Golbez (Final Fantasy IV)

Seriously, original looking character models would've been nice. Not a good first impression for me...

I get Robo and maybe Ramza but the others are kind of stretching it. I actually find it funny that the power he shows off for the main character is just Celes ability Runic from FF6

You can't see the "Mog" thing either? That looks just a blatant as the Ramza and Robo ones to me

It looks like a Cait Sith, or maybe that crossed with an Ivalice moogle.

I'm surprised people said Ramza/Marched instead of Cloud.

For alpha footage, it was nice. I like he had plenty he wanted to show. Game made me think of the Golden Sun Dark Dawn we deserved. I'll look forward to this.
