On TrueTrophies it is listed as FPS and playstationtrophies.org it is listed as a Shooter. I had the same thought of using Bioshock, but it is just an FPS with some upgrade elements. @kingofbattle8174 can put a final ruling on this as I know that my entry for Burly Men at Sea doesn't count either. cferguson9595
I have never played Bioshock so I do not know from experience, but even the game's wiki says that the genre is a First Person Shooter with no mention of RPG. That is just my two cents. I know @kingofbattle8174 mentioned some sort of penalty for games like this so maybe that is the route to go instead of not counting it at all. Did you use the suggested character builds or go with your own? I've posted my comments. I created two characters using the guide's 2-1-8-4-8-4-1 build and two using the 2-1-8-4-4-8-1 build. kingofbattle8174
Ok looking at the wiki page the do talk about the rpg elements. Not only about the upgrades but the variety of playing styles available to play. There are not many shooters that I believe would qualify as an rpg. Borderlands series comes to mind as well. So this one will be counted. I have to remind myself that rpgs come in many forms.

I think by using the definition of "upgrades and variety of play styles" as classifying a game as an RPG shooter opens up a can of worms. If we are considering a game with light RPG elements as an RPG, I am not sure why Metal Gear Solid V was ruled against. It has way more upgrades (hundreds) available and dozens of more play styles in which you can chose to role play and complete missions.

AlterArchuria
@kingofbattle8174 I have a question, does the beast mode apply to just the base game or would you need to add it to each dlc of that game like how the multiplier is?

I would assume it’s only for the base game, I think that’s only fair. Other wise I will rack up an insane amount of points for Fallout 4 and Final Fantasy XV after I complete other Final Fantasy games before it. Yea that why its slightly confusing why the multiplier counts towards the dlc which I'm not against btw but it also doesn't say on the first page hence my slight confusion but I'm just saying it does rack up just as many points since even doubling or triple a small amount in a dlc will add up over time and only reason I bring it up is cause that should be the same for beast mode since it is at a set amount you can only gain anyways and only so many games have long series as well as dlc in them you could use. That why I just wanted to be extra sure, since it doesn't hurt to ask

That makes your score 832.25. But congrats that is a huge jump.
