Next Gen Trophy Rarity

Every title I see with both PS4 and PS5 versions all have a (sometimes slightly) higher completion rate on the PS5.  For example:

 

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Demon's Souls

Godfall

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Outriders

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood

 

Maybe next gen gamers are compelled to squeeze every drop from their hard-to-find consoles?  Maybe haptic feedback improves gamer determination?  May a preponderance of PS5 owners are dedicated trophy hunters?  Maybe PS5 gamers aren't distracted by gazillions of legacy PS4 titles or their PS4 backlog?

Some of the games support cross-save so people would play on PS4 version first and then use cross-save on the PS5 version to get an instant plat or get most of the trophies autopopped and get the rest.

For some of them it may be a case of auto popping the PS5 trophies after completing the game on PS4.

When did Demon's Souls get a PS4 release?

Demon's Souls doesn't have a PS4 version and Godfall released almost a year after the PS5 version did, so everyone had seen the negative reception towards the game.

Many of these games allow autopopping of trophies. Marvel's Spider-Man has an additional DLC exclusive to the PS5, but it's apparently very easy as it can be done in less than a hour, which explains the fast time completions since a majority of people here already played thru the PS4 version.

I find it more interesting that Werewolf has the same number of owners between both versions.

Thank you, I didn't realize the extent of auto popping.  The last PS3/PS4 NA title I can find (Rainbow Skies) came out almost 5 years after the PS4 launch.  Yikes.

Gamers at the start of a generation are typically gung ho with game completions and trophy hunting not to mention cross progression and auto pops.

Yeah, it is pretty dumb.  It confuses the rarity stats but what can you do.  People are addicted to auto-popping.
